A really lovely, cute and cosy little Hotel in the old city of beautiful Ayvalik. The owner and all staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfast is just so tasty. We really had an amazing stay.

Beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable with air conditioning. The small details in this hotel are lovely, and everyone was very welcoming from arrival to departure. It is within walking distance to everything, and we highly enjoyed wandering around and taking in the culture of Ayvalik.

Temiz, odaları ferah ve bakımlı, çalışanları ve sahipleri her konuda yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar güler yüzlü ve hoşsohbet insanlar. Ayrıca otelin konumu çok güzel, kahvaltısı lezzetli ve sağlıklı. İyi bir işletme olmayı başarmışlar. Tavsiye ederim.

We stopped for a night in Ayvalik on our way to Bodrum, to break the drive south. We had heard that Ayvalik was a pretty town away from the tourist centers and it was exactly that - and finding this gorgeous little BandB made the stop even more special. Dariya was a fabulous host, her dinner recommendation was on point, swimming/hiking recommendations amazing, and the hotel itself was so special. The whole building is so charming, renovated so tastefully with beautiful wide wooden floorboards and pretty copper features and sparkling new bathrooms. The location was perfect - close enough to be an easy stroll through pretty alleys to get to the port for sunset mezzes, and far enough back from the noise to sleep well. There’s the slightest hill to get up, nothing that would have you out of breath. Breakfast was generous and delicious - beautiful traditional Turkish food featuring the local olives and olive oil along with excellent fitters, eggs, cheeses and honey and fruit. It was made even better with the gorgeous courtyard it was served in, beautiful flowering vines around high whitewashed walls and sturdy wooden furniture - this is a really classy little place. It will leave us with many happy memories of Ayvalik. We’re already planning to bring our friends on our next trip.

The host Derya is amazing, helpful and so warm. From the first moment we spoke on the phone she was really helpful. The place is a wonderful building with lots of soul and charm in the center of Ayvalik. The placa has a private car parking. For sure will come back, 100% recommended!

Ayvalık'ın içinde otoparkı da olan oda kahvaltı harika bir butik otel. Az odalı olduğu icin evinizde gibi rahatsınız. Kahvaltısı da müthiş. Arabayı denize gitmek haricinde kullanmadık bile. Çarşıya 5'da yürüreyerek gidiyorsunuz. Derya hanım'da oldukça ilgili ve güleryüzlü.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Olea Leya. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very nicely designed and, there is an open air patio where you can enjoy their excellent breakfast. The hotel owners and the staff are amazingly kind, helpful, and willing to immediately assist with any requests. The hotel is perfectly situated in the old part of Ayvalık from where you can reach any part of the town via a short walk. I am grateful I found this hotel and the people running it as they made my stay on Ayvalık a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place.

It is a really nice and cosy place. The service is outstanding & we loved to be guests at this house. Wonderful traditional breakfast, directly in the center of Ayvalik. Parking place directly at the hotel. The hotel have so lovely small design details (colors of the windows at the front door), that we everyday discovered something new. The stuff is really friendly and helpful in any way. We will come again 😊 Thank You!

A cozy and charming hotel with a lovely rustic, old-fashioned vibe. The room was comfortable and clean enough, especially for the winter off-season. Breakfast was satisfying and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A nice place to stay in Ayvalık👌🏻

The positives were the staff, breakfast and location but it ended there.
The building needs renovation. I informed the guy at the reception that the shower head rail is about to fall off, he said he'll get it looked at but never did. After that, I noticed that a lot of stuff needs fixing so I didn't bother reporting anything else as we were only there for 2 nights. Some sockets didn't work. One socket was hanging off the wall. The door handle was loose. Also, my wife dropped her phone behind the bed. When I pulled the bed to retrieve the phone, we were confronted with a pile of dust that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Beds were uncomfortable. This is a small establishment with a handful of rooms, surely it isn't difficult to make these small fixes.
The worst of all is something that isn't an easy fix is the noise. You can hear people talking in other rooms and people out on the courtyard. On the second night, I woke up to the sounds of a young lady who was unable to get into her room as the lock had a problem. Then I heard the sound of a drill, I assume they had to drill the lock open.
If you are driving, check the roads on Google as they are so narrow that I felt more tired on these narrow roads than the 6 hours of driving that I did to get to Ayvalık.

The place is amazing overall in terms of location as it is near the sea coast and there are lots of cafes, bars and shops around. The room we booked was nice although the bathroom was too small so it would be a bit of a problem to maneuver for big people 😂. What I liked the most about Macaron Konağı was the backyard where one can sit, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I could sit there and do some work on my laptop. Thank you.
