Cunda Esen Otel in Ayvalik

We were a Turkish/Swedish/American family of 6 who really enjoyed staying at this cute and very well managed hotel on a short vacation. The rooms are very clean, pretty and comfortable with AC. The breakfast is absolutely incredible! Perhaps the best I have ever had! The area is very nice and genuine with a lot of amazing food.

We booked in a low season just 1 night before our check-in.
The airplane reached Edermit airport around 8pm and instantly we received a msg from Mr Ali from Cunda Essen Butik Otel confirming our whereabouts.
The drive from airport to Hotel took nearly 40 minutes.
We realised once we reached the island that most hotels were closed and that me and my wife were the only tourists in Cunda Island as well as the hotel itself.
Mr. Ali showed us all the rooms and left the choice to us, very sweet of him. Of course we chose the biggest room.
Our stay was enjoyable although It was the low season, & Mr Ali & Miss Aysoon took extreme good care of us.
Come breakfast, it was the most generous ever and so tasty. 8 different kind of jams and cheese. Eggs. Bread and speciality dishes that kept coming until we had to beg them to stop. And every day they would change a bit in the breakfast and Miss Aysoon would enjoy cooking for us.
Our stay was amazing the service was 1st class and you feel that you belong in a way.
We stayed 4 days. Enjoyed the local bazar and festivals in Ayvalik and Cunda.
Our flight was late evening, Mr Ali asked us to feel at home and to check out at our own convenience.

Arrived late at night. Omar greeted us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed for the night. Elegant breakfast was served at the beautiful patio and garden. It was not only delicious, but Ali the manager, reached out to us so genuinely, that made us feel at home. Ali’s hospitality was offered in a subtle and yet sincere way. He helped us plan the next few days and all his recommendations were fantastic. He treated us with so much genuine care, that felt we not only got a place to call home away from home, but have made a new friend.

Beautiful hotel, lovely, renovated and clean rooms.Excellent breakfast. We had rooms on the third floor with small cute balconies and sea views. Charming outdoor and gardens. Ali bey was extremely nice and so very kind and helpful in planning our trip. He went above and beyond for me when I was planning a surprise birthday for my sister. I am so grateful for all his help.
Everyone is super nice. Cunda and Ayvalik are beautiful towns and so full of charm. Truly a gem in Turkey and staying in Cunda Esen hotel sure made our trip even better. After a long day of walking around, we would come back to our comfortable rooms to rest and get fully recharged for the next day’s explorations. Loved waking up and starting our days with their delicious Turkish home made breakfast spread. Overall, loved everything about our stay in this lovely hotel. Will definitely come back over and over again.

If you visit Cunda Island, this is the go to hotel I would recommend. Situation next to an olive orchid with sheep grazing in between the rows. The interiors are lovely and the owners have beautiful artefacts, crystal, and paintings on display. The best of all is the lovely, freshly cooked breakfast. The hosts are lovely and paid us detailed attention, despite the language barriers. Nothing that Google Translate cannot fix.

lovely hotel and we spent a wonderful three days. very friendly staff, caring owners. The hotel is close to the city center and has its own parking in front of the hotel. quiet and cozy place. The breakfasts are excellent as is the atmosphere. thanks, we will definitely be back.

Great hotel with great staff. Everyone is so kind. Breakfast is also great. You must taste the olive oil that is produced by hotel owners. Hotel is also very close to Cunda center and sea. An early wake up, walking to Taş Kahve and start the day with a Turkish Coffee while watching the fishing boats returning to the coast is so relaxing.
