Cunda Esen Otel in Ayvalik

We booked in a low season just 1 night before our check-in.
The airplane reached Edermit airport around 8pm and instantly we received a msg from Mr Ali from Cunda Essen Butik Otel confirming our whereabouts.
The drive from airport to Hotel took nearly 40 minutes.
We realised once we reached the island that most hotels were closed and that me and my wife were the only tourists in Cunda Island as well as the hotel itself.
Mr. Ali showed us all the rooms and left the choice to us, very sweet of him. Of course we chose the biggest room.
Our stay was enjoyable although It was the low season, & Mr Ali & Miss Aysoon took extreme good care of us.
Come breakfast, it was the most generous ever and so tasty. 8 different kind of jams and cheese. Eggs. Bread and speciality dishes that kept coming until we had to beg them to stop. And every day they would change a bit in the breakfast and Miss Aysoon would enjoy cooking for us.
Our stay was amazing the service was 1st class and you feel that you belong in a way.
We stayed 4 days. Enjoyed the local bazar and festivals in Ayvalik and Cunda.
Our flight was late evening, Mr Ali asked us to feel at home and to check out at our own convenience.
Turkish well known hospitality at its best.

Beautiful hotel, lovely, renovated and clean rooms.Excellent breakfast. We had rooms on the third floor with small cute balconies and sea views. Charming outdoor and gardens. Ali bey was extremely nice and so very kind and helpful in planning our trip. He went above and beyond for me when I was planning a surprise birthday for my sister. I am so grateful for all his help.
Everyone is super nice. Cunda and Ayvalik are beautiful towns and so full of charm. Truly a gem in Turkey and staying in Cunda Esen hotel sure made our trip even better. After a long day of walking around, we would come back to our comfortable rooms to rest and get fully recharged for the next day’s explorations. Loved waking up and starting our days with their delicious Turkish home made breakfast spread. Overall, loved everything about our stay in this lovely hotel. Will definitely come back over and over again.
