Buyuk Berk Hotel in Ayvalik

Hello, we visited the hotel with my family for 2 days in September. In general, there is no problem with the location of the hotel and its proximity to the sea. The rooms are not bad. The bed is new and clean but the bathrooms are a little worn. The curtains are torn and old. Towels are a mix of old and new. There are not many food options in the restaurant. 2 main dishes and 2 side dishes are fixed every day, but the taste is not bad. There will be no hunger. The sweet and salty cookies served at the bar of the hotel are delicious. Pita was also available, but he didn't experience it. The free desserts in the restaurant are delicious. Service staff serve the main dishes. The appetizers and salads in the restaurant are delicious. Drinking water is provided as purified in the hotel. The sun loungers on the beach are broken and their cushions are very worn out. Everything is fine until the reception, but after that it's a disappointment. There are serious problems in the approach, behavior and discipline of the employees. They have no solution focus or flexibility. Customer satisfaction is not taken into consideration. There is a majority of tourists from Bulgarian and Balkan countries. For those coming from Turkey, they accept entry through a single agency. For this reason, the price is quite high compared to the service received. Likewise, the fee is approximately 9 times the amount paid by tourists coming with groups from abroad. I believe that for the same price paid to this hotel, much better coverage and service can be purchased in a different hotel or location. I don't plan on coming again.

We stayed for 2 nights through Ets tour. The reception and reception was nice, but everything else was bad. My daughter caught an infection from the pool. Food was only available for breakfast and dinner. Even drinks were paid for the meals. Since the hotel was empty, it only came with a single type of plate. Let alone tasting the food, we had a hard time eating out every evening. We had to bed, it was collapsed, it was uncomfortable, I will not choose it again.

wifi is not working. I and my wife got food poisoning also like 40 people in hotel, they didn't want to admit it, they sad that it was some virus. I had friends in other hotels no one had similar issues. I don't recommend

I am currently in the hotel. First stuff doesn't speak English so communication is hard. wifi is only in the hall of the hotel and it is slow because everyone is in the hall. after 4 days I got a food poisoning, I don't know if it is from food or filter water. in general I don't recommend

First I want to pay respect to the people that serviced us trough the stay, mainly the Chef's and the waitress for their kind attitude. The hotel has downgraded for the past few years from 5* hotel, and at the moment I believe it should be rated as a 3* (Some parts of the hotel are renovated, however the LOBBY feels like the 90's)

From here on I can type only negative stuff, especially for the "Manager" on the reception who was negative native person, who doesn't speak ENGLISH (Yeah you need a translator for that, which was also hard to find).
During our stay my girlfriend had few golden wristbands in her room that she left inside, so she doesn't loose them while we go swimming and exploring the city, however the "cleaning lady's" managed to pick them up and didn't take anything else out of her possession (take the gold, leave the junk).
Once reported that to the "Manager" he CLAIMED that he won't speak to personal cleaning the rooms, or help us in any way - How clever, right?

Also since we were travelling during the day and arrived at 12:15 AM, we didn't had the option to enter our room for 12 HOURS, and we had to sit down like homeless people in the disgusting LOBBY for all this time.

On top of that, we were not alone in the LOBBY, but with 80+ other people with the same response from their reception, which is totally ridiculous when we have COVID-19 lurking around!

Some of the services that were promoted as free or available, like the GYM are not available.
The hotel also promotes that they are hosting "Party's", however none were available.

It's a shame that such a beautiful beach, has such a bad hotel to take care of it (Also the only part of the beach with trash was ours, which means the hotel never actually cleans it like the rest of the hotels)

If by any chance, this information manages to reach the OWNERS of this Hotel, please find a new MANAGER because soon you will be rated as 0* stars.

The hotel is old and not renewed. It is pretty dirty. The rooms are very small. The All inclusive is far away from the avarage in Turkey. The beach in front is never been cleaned. We spent a week there, but used the hotel beach only once. The same for the dinner.
