Hotel Sarayevo in Ayvalik

I feel very sorry but I can’t rate this hotel any higher than one star. The hotel can’t handle its own capacity in terms of food supply and hygiene. Food often runs out during breakfasts and dinner. I do not feel like keeping up with a first come first serve mentality during my vacation. Besides, rooms do not get cleaned everyday, which is pitiful. This means that you need to get after your clean towels, toiletpaper and full garbage bins yourself. On top of that, rooms look outdated and after a closer look not very clean. I really did like the beach, but in contrast to other hotels and beach clubs, this hotel allows non hotel guests to use their beach. This results in an overly crowded beach side, where it is impossible to enjoy the sea without being bothered by non hotel guests that occupy the small width of 3m between the sea and first row of sun beds. However, the worst is yet to come. Unfortunately this morning I woke up facing a cockroach on the floor. I might understand that the cleaning service of the hotel might be busy, but the cockroach really pushed my limits. It is totally not okay to encounter vermin in your room during your stay. It’s simply disgusting.

Don't ruin your days with your family at this hotel. We have made a week booking at this hotel after relying on the google comments. We were lucky that we have paid only for the first night in advance. When we arrived to hotel, there was issue on parking around the hotel. Hotel does not have its own parking space. Paid-parking available at the front, and no space behind the hotel. Room was small. Noise at the AC. Regretted having dinner there. The hotel restaurant was so busy and it is not open-buffet and drinking water is extra charge and there were long lines with limited selections, and you could feel the hassle as if guests were fighting for food. And talked to the receptionist that we would be checking-out tomorrow morning, and receptionist said that they need to charge for one more night as no-show, which we declined to pay for the night we're not going to use, and hotel promised many things prior our arrival including arranging parking spot to us, which they did not do any of them. There were trashes from the rooms left to the corridors. At night we could not sleep as there is a discotheque next to the hotel, some tourists were drinking and shouting heehawing whole the time. Morning breakfast was with limited options, no water on any drinks served. And checked-out in the morning without paying any extra single cent and headed to other hotel we've arranged and continued there. There was no any apology or anything from this hotel. Unfortunately, this would be our last time at this hotel. In case a hotel manager/s says that I have not stayed at this hotel, attaching a proof. Cheers!
