Bahaus Hostel in Istanbul

I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is very good and close to the main attractions. There’s a really nice rooftop terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view. They organize different activities every day. One thing worth mentioning is that breakfast is included, which is a big plus.

Overall, it’s great value for money and I would definitely recommend staying here!

I had a highlighted moment in this hostel during my travel to Turkey.

So I stayed one night in this hostel before going to capadocia for 4 days and came back to it.

On my arrival he opened the door for me remembering who I was, he also noticed that I was tired after spending the night in the bus, so he let me in 4h before the normal check-in to get some rest ❤️.

The place has:
- A common space.
- A terrace.
- Breakfast is included.
- Dinner is available.
- Friendly staff.
- Clean shared bathroom.
- Very clean beds (perfectly white sheets).
- Very accessible nearby touristic sites.
- The train is 3 minutes walk away, and tram is 2 km I think.

An amazing hostel with fantastic social events!

My stay at Bahaus Hostel was incredible. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is super social. But the real highlight was the stand-up comedy night! It was hilarious, well-organized, and such a brilliant way to meet other travelers. We were all laughing together all night. It’s this kind of unique event that turns a good hostel into a great one. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Overall the hostel isn't anything special (everything is quite old) but what makes it stand out is the very friendly atmosphere. Not only the staff is extremely helpful, but most importantly the place is set up in a way that allows you to meet people and spend a good time together with other guests.
The rooms aren't missing anything even though they aren't too clean or too luminous. Toilets are clean. The terrace is very cool both on the inside and the outside.

I spend there 2 nights and it was great, they have clean rooms and restrooms and also a big kitchen. The location is just great in city centre. Also the prices are fair (9€ per night for a last minute reservation). The only problem is that they ask you to call them in order to open you the door but if you travelling abroad and you don’t have free roaming you’ll face some problems.

If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will definitely stay here again. Tugi, Ugur, and Ahmed made my trip with my mom absolutely fabulous and very memorable! The rooms are cozy and clean, the breakfast is yummy and made with lots of care and love and the atmosphere is very fun and welcoming. It is also very well located in terms of all the touristic sites and they can also help you book trips and activities to different parts of Turkey.

Had a really good time here staying at this hostel. The location is fantastic and it has a social atmosphere and a rooftop terrace. Bar upstairs does happy hours and rooms were adequate. Towels are 20 lira and staff are happy to book taxis and get you in tours. The rooftop terrace has a good view of the city, however if you like partying, there are no clubs or good pubs close by. You'll have to visit taksim.
