This is not a 5 star hotel it’s a good 4 star or an excellent 3 star hotel location was great. I’d prefer to stay at aksaray as it’s better to be near the locals. Even the staff were not fluent English spoken
I travelled from IST airport by HVL-1 bus and get off at Aksaray and walked to the hotel which took me about 14 mins, very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby and close to many attractions in walkable distance
Close to the grand bazaar so perfect for people visiting the blue mosque. Unfortunately at one point the area was closed off from cars entering at a crucial time for me
From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort
The location is a bit out of the way, not near the bustling Hagia Sophia or Istiklal Avenue. The main issue was that we arrived at 3 AM. During check-in, we confirmed with the front desk that we needed a smoking room
Every evening, the front desk would proactively call to ask if we needed any assistance or supplies, and when we requested more mineral water, housekeeping quickly delivered it
The only negative was a constant rumbling noise from an air vent in the room, but foam ear plugs took care of that - apart from this, the room was spacious enough and well equipped, with further amenities available on request
Great location near major historical attractions. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. A good choice for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Istanbul.
The staff are exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Special thanks to all the team for their great service and warm attitude
This hotel is extremely good value for money, and a convenient low-grade premium hotel to stay while in Istanbul
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!
Although our stay at the hotel itself was pleasant, this taxi experience has left us deeply disappointed and shaken. I hope the management will look into this matter seriously to prevent it from happening to other guests

Outstanding food at the Michelin star roof top Restaurant, the staff is also going above and beyond for a great service. Furthermore great location and views. Would come any time again.
Housekeeping' was thoroughly done each day and bottled water was provided daily. A special mention goes to Mehmed at the breakfast buffet as well as the staff in Archer
The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in any hotel. There was a huge variety of fresh and cooked items beautifully presented in an area overlooking the Bosporus
The hotel facilities are good, but the road to the hotel is very congested, so it takes a bit of time
Great stay, clean and spacious Hotel. Recommended for next time.
Only key point to note is the street infront of the hotel entrance is super busy. Could take you 15 mins to leave due to traffic jam after 5pm
EXASPERATING picturesque view from the rooftop restaurant. The rooms are a Spacious, although more furniture by the side of the bed would have made the rooms Exceptional. The staff are friendly and helpful
Very nice and clean location is very good breakfast is very delicious
Our stay at Sura Hagia was nothing short of amazing. The rooms were spotless, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was a delightful highlight, offering a wonderful start to each day
The location is amazing as I have stayed here before, unfortunately no AC in the hotel and the room cleaning was not done to a high level, with the bathroom bin left on the toilet seat and no complimentary water left.
Although the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, which is expected in the Old Town, it's incredibly convenient for getting around since it's right next to all the main attractions, all within walking distance
We booked 3 rooms here for 8 nights and we had an amazing time!
The staff went above and beyond to say the least. Yasin, Daminda, and the rest of the staff at breakfast were all amazing
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Place are clean and expected like the photos. Breakfast selection is so so. The location is very convenient but in a very crowded busy street.

I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Old Town. The location is perfect — right next to the tram stop and within walking distance to Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar
The room was excellent, clean and hygienic, with a small rooftop terrace offering a glimpse of the sea. The hotel's location is super convenient; right outside is the Istanbul University station for the T1 tram line
Staff were very friendly and welcoming with their signature warm cookie. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of tasty options
The hotel is dimly lit overall. The service staff are all friendly. Location is fantastic as it's 3 tram stops away from the Blue Mosque
It can be a bit noisy if your room faces the street, but overall it’s an excellent hotel for exploring Istanbul’s old city
Excellent location with tram service right outside. Room was clean but lobby was a little dark.

One of the best parts of the hotel was the spa and wellness center. After a busy day of exploring Istanbul, it was so nice to unwind in the sauna and enjoy a relaxing massage
I arrived very early and asked if I could check in. The receptionist checked and said that unfortunately my room wasn't ready yet. I should leave my suitcase at the reception and make myself comfortable
For the price and location better hotels near by. Service at reception wasn’t great arrived at 8pm and room was not ready when check in was at 2pm
**"Excellent Stay at Wyndham Istanbul Old City!"**
I had an unforgettable experience staying at the Wyndham Istanbul Old City. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm hospitality of the staff
Special thanks to the Guest Relations Manager for making our stay smooth and memorable
We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is close to all main attractions and the spa was a great bonus
It offered a wide variety of both Turkish and international options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant staff was also very attentive and quick to refill drinks and food

Such professionalism and a constant desire to do well and to do even better. I sincerely hope to return soon. The room was better than expected, and the breakfast was incredibly varied and truly delicious
Out of all the hotels we stayed so far, I rate this hotel as the best with the views and room. Yildiz palace has a great view. Beautiful sunrise and the bosphorus view. Breakfast we felt was just okish
But the staff were really great. Hilal Murat was kind enough to gift us with homemade Jam. Also the staff at the reception Ecge , if I'm not wrong was very kind. The location is th best part
My thanks go to all the staff who were so attentive: the managers, all the staff at reception, room service, massage, restaurant, welcome. and I'm sure I'm forgetting some
The room's view? I'd rate it a zero. There's no view at all, the windows are tiny, and no light gets in because it looks out onto a dark wall.
Special mention for those who don't eat gluten or lactose – you'll find plenty of options to enjoy. Hope to see you again very soon!
So very helpful and with a smile, the waiter for breakfast was very helpful and very cheery, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, The food is lovely in the restaurant up on 6 and the cafe down on the ground level fantastic food at good prices too
Amazing stay! The restaurant on the 6th floor was the highlight — delicious food, a stunning view of the mosque, and super friendly staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything
They assisted us with parking, carrying our luggage, making reservations, and even explaining how to get to the places we wanted to visit. Always with a genuine smile on their faces – something that’s very rare to find
We stayed in a deluxe room which was very spacious and comfortable. The weather outside was quite chilly, but the hotel’s ambience, warm hospitality, and delicious food made our stay perfect
The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul’s Old City, right opposite a beautiful mosque with panoramic views. From the top floor, the scenery is truly breathtaking
As a big family who travels to Turkey every year, this year’s experience was completely different – and all thanks to them. We will definitely be coming back!

Quiet for the area (the historic center is full of mosques), plus they tone down the evening prayers. We checked in 5 o'clock early for €40, which was a great option. Breakfast was excellent with a view of the Bosphorus
This hotel was central and very clean, however I only booked it as it had an outdoor pool, so I could relax as well as see the sights
The hotel is great, everything is clean, the staff is friendly, I just would like a little more European food, croissants, scrambled eggs without vegetables are quite ordinary, too many vegetables for my taste, but otherwise everything is great
Just be sure to bring a shower cap or simply buy a swimming cap; the hotel charges €5 for that. The room is clean, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. We were very satisfied and would happily return
They helped us with booking additional events, arranging transportation and following up with me the entire time to make sure everything was great. I felt like I had a second little family here!
Not particularly exciting, but tasty and filling. Unfortunately, the rooftop one has been drained, but the one on the -3rd floor is open, and the sauna is also open
The staff was wonderful, hotel lovely and centrally located, and the terrace restaurant offers a spectacular view. Rooms are small and not special, but clean and comfortable
Including the wonderful Turkish breakfast makes it good value
Perfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Palace etc, right were bazaars. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more
That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel!
Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it
The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room great with amazing view. The bed mattress was the best. We used also the spa and it was refreshing. We had lunch once, which was average
The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul. Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and elegance of the building — it felt like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts you could ask for
The architecture and decor are stunning, full of rich details that tell the story of the hotel's past. Each corner seems to whisper a bit of history, making the entire stay feel incredibly special
The beds are super comfy with a combination of showers and baths depending on which room you book. Would highly recommend due to the staff’s friendliness and location
It truly reflects the hotel’s global spirit and commitment to inclusivity. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated to match the hotel’s heritage
I even met a wonderful staff member from Pakistan, who spoke fluent Urdu and English and went out of his way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable
We recently stayed at the Legacy Ottoman during our 12 day Traveltalk tour of Turkey. The hotel is perfectly situated in the very heart of Istanbul
It is a very comfortable and nice hotel. It is situated in a good place, near the metro station.
Great stay ,got a free room upgrade by ozgur who was great throughout our 8 days ,pool area could do with a make over and the second lift was out of order throughout the whole stay which at breakfast time was very frustrating as it never got to the 5th floor, but overall a great stay
The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the metro, which is great! It's also within walking distance of the Suleymaniye Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and even the Eminonu Pier. The location is very convenient
The room was very small, absolutely tiny! Other downsides: there weren't even any bottles of water in the room; the minibar was empty; and the kettle was dirty!!! Someone from the previous guests had brewed coffee directly in the kettle
The breakfast is very diverse. The hotel staff are very helpful
And no one cleaned the kettle after the previous guests! Overall, the hotel is old. And sometimes you had to wait a really long time for the elevator. The breakfast is more or less okay, but it's the same every day
He came and gave us complimentary breakfasts and some wonderful cakes as we were in Istanbul to celebrate our birthday. Our surname is Burdock so we natural wanted to stay at a hotel of the same name
Great boutique hotel near Galata Tower. Much better staying here than in old town which is a huge tourist trap. Amazing pool and service from the staff. Wish I had more time to try the hamman
Great location and easy to get around by tram (T1). Nearby hotel, you can walk to several well known sites. Great breakfast selections and care for special dietary guests
As I am travelling in the summer, I was looking for good air conditioning and quiet rooms in Istanbul as I had seen some bad reviews with other hotels
Don’t buy the travelcard at the hotel (followed another traveller’s advice); you can just tap in using a credit card at most pub transport stations
Stayed for 2 nights, it's very close to Terminal 1. The room was clean, and having an elevator made going up and down very convenient.
The location is great - right in the center with access both on foot and by car. The area itself is beautiful, especially the historic “bank street” nearby with its impressive architecture, which made every walk pleasant
Next to the galata bridge, great and safe location Room was quite good, clean and big enough. Also cleaned daily
Love this hotel, location is just 5mins walking to Galata and 5mins walk to Karakoy tram station. Room is soooo big! And worth the price. Paid for Presidential Suite and i consider it one of the best hotel in the area
The hotel is very clean and smells lovely throughout. My only complaint would be the swing door to the bathroom/toilet. Firstly, it doesn't close completely, which compromises privacy, and secondly, it squeaks unbearably
The hotel boasts an excellent location, perfect for sightseeing. Public transportation makes everything easily accessible, and a 10-minute walk across the bridge gets you to the other side of the city
Good location and nearby Galata Kulesi. And i booked the room with sea view, so amazing.
The hotel has been in need of renovation for a long time. The room is tiny. Does not correspond to the description on the website. The location is convenient, in the historical center.
A very beautiful view, and located near by the Grand Baazar and all shops!
Nice experience and nice staff!
The Best hotel in Istanbul, clean and decorated rooms, the staff is very nice, The bartender deserves a big raise because he knows how to treat a customer as a bartender.
The hotel is so-so, but the staff, especially the manager Ali! Simply wonderful! 😍😍 Attentive, courteous! Warm-hearted ♥️ We had a really great vacation!♥️
It's nice friendly place specially manager ergon was nice polite and helpful
Hotel located in the Fatih area, close to the metro and tram station. The room was clean, the towels were changed daily, cleaning was done daily. It has a rooftop restaurant with a panoramic view of the city
The hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance of major attractions, which makes getting around very convenient. Despite being so central, it is very quiet. The staff are friendly and welcoming
However, the soundproofing isn't great, so it can be a bit noisy at night. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and recommended many tour routes
The old town has narrow streets, making it difficult to drive. It's close to the old town attractions and Galata Bridge, both within walking distance
The housekeeping was a bit disappointing as the room was not cleaned daily. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very helpful — they quickly arranged our airport transfer and resolved any issues immediately
Our overall experience at this hotel was average. Given that it belongs to a well-known chain, we expected a bit more in terms of service and consistency
The room was clean and well maintained, although the carpet could use some improvement. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay
Nostalgic hotel in interesting area, Laleli, close to the sea and park area, close to the Grand Bazar, public transport everywhere around. Good breakfast. Quiet although in busy area.
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the staf was very warm and friendly . And the location is great too!
I don't know about the other rooms but Marmara suite was amazing and also they have a great service and a nice, helpful staff
Hotel very well situated, all means of transport are not very far, service is very good, the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is great, although it never changes it provides good quality for the price
We rented a twin room, it was very spacious, clean and quiet but the content of the room is kinda old
This hotel is certainly not a 4* hotel like advertised. It can't be more than 3 at the max. Bathtubs are in a deplorable state. You can hear your neighbors as if they were next to you especially in the bathroom
For instance, the entrance hallway was uncomfortably narrow with the room door opening inwards, there was a column positioned awkwardly in the middle of the sleeping area, and the ceiling featured a polygonal, multi-level design
Furthermore, the tile grout lines on the walls and floor were noticeably misaligned by about a centimeter, which looked incredibly sloppy and felt like an oversight. The window offered an unattractive view of a car park
Here are the pros of the hotel: The location is superb, with all major attractions within walking distance. Additionally, tram, metro, train, and ferry stops are all conveniently located within a 5-minute walk
It felt more like a communal soaking tub where people simply sit in the water. I also found it uninviting due to its murky water, so I opted not to use it. The interior design was poorly executed
Small details were missing, such as a toothbrush holder in the bathroom and sufficient space to hang and dry towels. There was only a single hook in the bathroom, which was inadequate
Stairwells and floor heights seemed mismatched, and massive support columns bisecting the panoramic windows consumed a significant portion (about a third) of our already small room
The staff were incredibly friendly, and we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade—it made our stay extra special. A huge thank you to Ayan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome
He was caring, attentive, and always ready to help, from giving great local recommendations to checking in to ensure we were comfortable. His professionalism and warmth made our stay unforgettable
Great hotel with incredible service, especially Dalha at the front desk who was super attentive and helpful. Hotel is literally a 1 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque
Our stay at Hotel Vogue in Istanbul was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the service was truly outstanding
Grand Bazaar 15 min walk, spice Bazaar 20 min walk and lots of restaurants around. Also nice very spacious rooms. Would 100% recommend the stay!
We highly recommend Hotel Vogue and can’t wait to return
The hotel spa experience wasn't as amazing as I had imagined; it was quite average. Perhaps my expectations were too high. The breakfast, however, was plentiful with many choices, and the location was very convenient
The location is fantastic, worthy of being called a peninsula. It faces the bay yet is incredibly quiet
The service was excellent, reflected in all the small details. We had a great stay.
The waitress serving our table seemed unwilling to acknowledge this. Aside from this and the slight inconvenience of getting a taxi right outside the hotel, everything else was excellent
The hotel is truly lucky to have him and his team. A manager from the housekeeping department, who appeared to be of Indian/Pakistani descent, also provided excellent service
However, we did encounter some issues at breakfast. The menu advertised freshly squeezed juices (pomegranate and orange), but they clearly weren't fresh
