Grand Peninsula Hotel in Istanbul

The experience in this hotel is not so good. The only good point is the location. There is located at 5 min. walking of Sophia, Blue Mosque…. But it’s the only good point. Desert is always the same; nothing changes. We were in 2 different rooms; the first one with terrace but the bath very small and the cleaning… it isn’t very deep… the second one is with the same service but very very small. With the service, the experience wasn’t very good. We know that we must change because the receptionist gave us a better room, but only for 2 nights, the rest in our room booked. With the room exchanges, reception was sleeping in the coach… we told him that we must change the room. He told us to keep the luggage in the room and they will change when the new room is free. When we arrive in the evening, asking for the new room, the receptionist told us that luggage are in the corridor… incredible. But, the next day, we left the room to our visit to Istanbul and , when we returned, the room is not clean!!! It was in the same condition. When I claimed, they told me that, as we didn’t leave the key in the reception, they didn’t know that they must clean the room!! Incredible.
