A small gem in Old Town! Excellent rooms, great service and a wonderful breakfast!!! We loved the experience

Spent a lovely week at Char Me in October run by Nurcan and her family. We have rarely encountered such a friendly and helpful team in our years of travelling. Set in the heart of the vibrant Old Town, you are literally transported back in time in the winding, narrow streets built on the old Roman city. It was so nice having breakfast by the pool every morning. Great coffee and lots of local Turkish dishes to enjoy. Thanks to everyone for helping to make it a memorable holiday.

The owners really care about the property and clearly take great pride with it. The breakfast is comprehensive and tasty, and all the staff really put a lot of effort in.

After such a bad experience of our previous hotel in antalya . Char me saved the day great location in the centre of Old town friendly staff relaxed attitude . Great rooms made our stay in antalya comfortable and memorable. If your looking for a great small place in the old town this is the hotel for you .

A very small, quiet, well-run hotel in a stone-built house near the New Gate (Yeni Kapı), with a small pool and garden. Truly personal service. Breakfast by the pool was a delight. I cannot praise Nurcan and her staff highly enough: she replied promptly to all my questions before I arrived, and was always available in person during the day.

What a gem in the heart of the Old City. Walk 50 meters in any direction and you are surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Exceptionally clean and well appointed rooms, a lovely swimming pool and plenty of outdoor space to relax. The breakfast buffet, served alongside the pool consists of local breads, cheeses, olives, tomatoes, peppers and a variety of fruits and drinks. This is no ordinary hotel, you are treated like family at Char Me.

CHARM ME is charming!  Stayed here on my own and it was exactly what I wanted, peaceful and serene. I had the pool to myself everyday, and it was 27 degrees, for mid November I was so pleased to get my vitamin D before going back to the cold UK. Please be aware we are next to a mosque so you might jump out of your skin if sleeping by the pool if you don't know in advance. The morning prayer is 630am, I enjoyed waking up to the sound, for me it added to the Turkish experience.  I was upgraded to room number 1 upstairs which was a nice suprise, it was so beautiful, I slept really well, the bed was perfect for my bad neck, the decor was so unique around the whole hotel, so many quirky things, infact most of it was to my taste. The breakfast was AMAZING, I was blown away by it! Honey cheese and jam together WOW and eggy bread. A top tip when the lady asks if you eat fried egs be sure you say well cooked if you prefer. The 2nd day I had scrambled eggs which were delicious, I also got fruit and mixed breads, tomatoes, olives, walnuts, all the produce was top notch. The oranges freshly plucked from the huge orange tree with an abundance of fruit on it! My idea of heaven and the tea was good, I'm fussy with my Tea.

The staff here are so kind and sweet, they are a family and made me feel very welcome and were helpful with tips.

The tip I will give is when sitting around the pool try to sit next to the entrance from the garden as the WiFi will not connect if you sit over the other side, I needed WiFi to read. Also if you are English bring a book as you will not find anything English to read in Turkey, I walked miles looking for a book or a magazine and once finished you could leave it for another customer as I think they would appreciate that, I like to add a little note and a date for the next person. I would come back here again in a heartbeats, it's such a cute little town, especially at night walking around all the pretty streets. I can also recommend Vanilla restaurant 1 min walk, fine dining and amazing food.
