Economical small city hotel is situated on the high Bank. All rooms with sea view.

Built: 1977

Renovated: 2010

Location: 10 km from airport 6 km from the city centre of Antalya, Lara p., on the high sea.

Consists of a 6-storey building (all rooms with sea view).

Total area: 3 000 m2.

The hotel has 70 rooms.

Beach: private beach platform, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge. The length of the beach – 100 m.

A pleasant hotel just a twenty-minute drive from the airport, convenient for layovers. The hotel balcony offers a beautiful view of the bay, a waterfall, and Düdenpark nearby. Clean rooms, a delicious breakfast, and cats everywhere.

My first trip to the Lara was my first ever to Turkey. I stayed at the Lara for a week but then needed to travel to Alanya and I had no idea how to get there. A young receptionist KERIM helped me out beyond his duty. He looked up coach travel for me on several internet sites, which was proving easy. He did this in his break time and told me to go and relax and he would sort it. He did. He also wrote me notes for the taxi driver and one for the coach terminal so l never got lost. I arrived safely in Alanya . I returned to the Lara again in July 25 and KERIM was there. He knew me instantly as we were now friends. I am now at the Lara in November , my third stay this year. The Lara is friendly, somewhat outdated in decor of the rooms but clean . The view over the sea is stunning, private beach is great. The pool bar staff are friendly and accommodating although the food can be pricey. Overall, I would stay in the Lara again and again. My favourite staff member KERIM really was a great ambassador for the hotel and my first trip to Turkey.

had a wonderful stay at Lara Hotel. The location is truly unbeatable – you won’t find a better spot. The view was absolutely stunning, and the traditional Turkish breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The hotel also has a very beautiful private beach located in a lagoon. You need to walk down the stairs to reach it, which can be a bit of a workout, but it is absolutely worth it once you are there. Highly recommended!

Second visit to this hotel, it's good for me. The restaurant is extremely expensive.
Breakfast is ample.
No were local to get a coffee. Friendly cats, I bring them treats . Fridge didn't work when we arrived, took woman in reception three full days to get it exchanged, chocolate was spoilt. (Not according to woman in reception, she needs a full refund from the charm school)

After reading some reviews before this holiday I was a little concerned as the last time we stayed here was 10 years ago. However my concerns were unfounded. Yes the rooms and stairs area are very dated and badly in need of a refurb but the views and the pool & bar area is beautiful. Staff were pleasant and polite, maids did a good job of cleaning the rooms. Views of aircraft overhead spot on. Shower could be cold in the morning but nice & hot in the evening. Bar food during the day adequate although a little overpriced. Overall a great stay.

Very Expensive Stay!
The hotel has undergone an external transformation since we last stayed 6 years ago. Weddings at weekends have stopped (that's a good thing) and a new restaurant has been built. The food is fantastic, but the prices are sky high (La Vera Menu online). You are not allowed to take food or drink from outside into the hotel. We saw one couple getting searched for ‘contraband’. There were also several cases of people being charged for the use of the room mini bar when they claimed they hadn’t. Other review sites would seem to back this up as an ongoing ‘scam’ by the hotel. The rooms are very dated and are in desperate need of a refurbishment. Breakfast is basic, but you often share the dining area with the local stray cats!
The hotel now seem to have a deal with local dentists, as about half of the guest were there for dental work, This isn’t an issue, but we saw a lot of bruised faces which can be a little disconcerting.
The waiter staff are attentive and give good service around the pool area during the day. The pool aera is clean and presentable, but drink prices are expensive. Two Fanta and Two Sprite (250ml bottles) came to about £14.
On our last day at checkout, we weren’t allowed to leave until an audit of the room had been undertaken. We had taken pictures of the room and minibar on arrival and departure. We had no issues.

I have stayed at this place for first time, and I have to say: cleanliness of the rooms not great, although the building itself is very outdated and has seen better days.

Only 1 small lift for all the guests, which is shocking! I’ve seen elderly guests are struggling with the stairs at points.

Staff friendly.

Beds not the best, noisy and not very comfortable pillows to my comforts.

I have used the laundry option which hast cost me 2,100 TL = £40,,, it’s a lot!!!

You’re not allowed to bring or get foods outside of the hotel area, due to an overpriced restaurant operating by the hotel, not allowed to buy drinks from the restaurant bar and take to your room.!!

Overall the only positive I can think of is the sea view which seems to be their selling point.

Would I stay at this hotel in the future? Personally, absolutely not and wouldn’t recommend it. Very costly and not even worth it. The picture I’ve attached is the view from my room, which was lush.

Great atmosphere and staff, was greeted on my first day and helped with bags by a young lad called arrsven from reception (not sure how to spell apologies) who although we had a bit of a language barrier, he made sure to go above and beyond his colleagues in ensuring we were happy, comfortable, greeted with a smile always and he translated with his phone rather than avoiding conversation throughout our stay. Very kind, patient, hardworking and good staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the included 24/7 non-alcoholic cocktails especially summer breeze and the variety of food and fun offerings. Regular shuttles to the beach, rent a car transfers available and multiple pools. Good amenities, options and comfort, only negative was some things needed maintenance in the rooms and some bottles of soaps, and shampoo that had been missed from being refilled repeatedly.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel — their approach to hospitality is purely profit-driven. Due to a delay in my visa processing, I requested to cancel my booking and receive a refund two days before my reservation date. Despite this being a reasonable and genuine situation, the hotel repeatedly refused my request and charged me without providing any services. Their priority is clearly money, not customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, their customer service was unprofessional, and they even refused to let me speak with management. I strongly advise you against booking this hotel, especially if your plans may change unexpectedly. bad experience with this hotel, unfortunately
