The location and pool area were nice, but overall the dining experience brought the rating down. With some improvements, this hotel could easily offer a much better stay.
The main drawback was the hotel's overwhelming focus on Russian tourists; the music and staff communication were predominantly Russian, which made us feel a bit out of place. The room was dated and showed signs of wear, including what looked like cleaned-up mold by the door. The dining experience was also frustrating. While the food was fine, you had to arrive at the beginning of service to get a main dish, as some guests would hoard food, much of which went to waste. Similarly, getting a sunbed on the private beach was a daily struggle due to towels being left out from the early hours.
On the positive side, the animation team was very talented, and the nightly shows were enjoyable, though they did repeat during our second week. The direct access to the beach was also very convenient.
In conclusion, while the exceptional staff are this hotel's greatest asset, I feel it's worth paying more for a better overall experience elsewhere.
The food was generally okay, although they use quite a lot of semi-prepared products. The dining area wasn’t particularly clean either. The staff, with the exception of one man at the reception who clearly couldn’t care less about us, were good. Special thanks to the guys at the bar, who did what they could with the ingredients they had.
The beach was nice, and sunbeds were always available. The snack bar wasn’t great—it was always the same food, and it wasn’t open every day as you’d expect from an all-inclusive hotel. Naturally, the food in the main dining room also became repetitive, so after three days, nothing surprises you anymore.
Overall impression wasn’t very good—everything was generally dirty or sticky, with handprints and stains from unknown fluids (and I don’t want to know what kind). The hotel management should seriously reconsider their 4-star rating. In Slovakia, this hotel would be shut down or rated no more than 2 stars.
The hotel operates at overcapacity and is frequently out of basic items like forks and cups. Long lines for food are common, partly because guests tend to hoard it.
The food is basic but acceptable. I enjoyed the Mediterranean-style buffet.
The Wi-Fi is free but of poor quality, likely due to oversubscription.
