Our stay at Selchukhan Hotel from October 6th to October 13th, 2025 was truly a wonderful experience! From the very first moment, when we were kindly allowed to check in two hours early, we felt welcomed and cared for. The room was clean and ready, and the entire hotel service – housekeeping, dining, bars – was impeccable. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel’s organization and logistics were well thought out, making our holiday smooth and enjoyable. A special thank you to our lovely local guide Fazl (hopefully the name is spelled correctly), who made our excursions to Demre, Myra, and Kekova both memorable and meaningful. Selchukhan Hotel is a clean, beautiful, and heartfelt place where every detail is thoughtfully arranged. We warmly recommend it to anyone looking for genuine hospitality, excellent service, and unforgettable experiences in Turkey!

We stayed at the hotel from July 24th to 7th. This was our first time with our child. We had a great experience, and the staff was great! The food was delicious, though we only missed some soup and porridge for the child. Overall, everything was great. My daughter had a wonderful children's entertainer, Dzhimila, who brought us crafts, drawings, and bracelets every day. Thank you so much, Dzhimila, for such a wonderful attitude towards children. My daughter is three years old, and I rarely trust her with anyone, but I trusted the hotel staff, especially with such interesting programs, and my daughter absolutely loved her! We were busy with my daughter, and I managed to relax in the hammam during this time. I'd also like to thank the staff member who helped me in the hammam. I dropped a chain under the benches in the bathhouse; it was impossible to sort them out, but she got it out for me. Thank you so much again! I also wanted to say a huge thank you for the room. It had a mountain view, there was no music or shouting, and my daughter slept well during the lunch hour. The room was always cleaned, everything was spotless and nice. The staff were all smiling and welcoming!

We stayed at this hotel with our family and were very pleased. The hotel is in a great location, very cozy and beautiful, with well-kept surroundings – perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious and varied everyone can definitely find something they like.
We especially want to highlight a few staff members: Cem and his brother, Yeliz, and two girls who worked during the day at the pool bar (unfortunately, we don’t know their names). All of them were incredibly kind and sincere – we have only the highest praise for them.

Good location, there is supermarket nearby and local markets as well.
Wifi in the rooms is practically non-existent; it only works properly in the main hotel lobby. I would also like to add that the needs of children are not fully considered — neither in the rooms nor in the public restrooms can a child wash their hands, as the sink and soap are placed too high. I recommend getting small step stools for children.
I wouldn’t say this is an ultra-inclusive hotel, since ice cream is given out only at specific times (just one per person), and to get drinks you have to run to different bars, as each has its own schedule. The pool closes already at 19:00, but cleaning starts at 18:30, so it feels like you’re being pushed out.
The food is varied and tasty. You can eat particulary all the time ! The entertainment was a bit disappointing, as the entertainment girls excused the lack of activities by saying there weren’t enough people or interest. Until I personally asked about activities, there were no invitations to join in, unlike what usually happens in other hotels. On the other hand, the evening shows were very interesting, the kids’ club mini-disco and the animators there were great, and the morning yoga was excellent! Nice gym equipment and SPA opportunities. Great massage and hamam.
I would like to highlight a few staff members who were very attentive and helpful, making our stay at the hotel much brighter — special thanks to Yeliz and Samet. Yeliz always offers her help, even without being asked. These people should be recognized as examples of how to work with guests — a huge thanks to them! :)

It was a great experience. Clean, quiet room with aircons, clean shower, free water bottles and kettle, safe, full blackout blinds. Close to the sea. On the site lots of activities: yoga, sauna, hamam, massage, darts, kids zone, etc. Food was amazing. Staff polite and friendly. Disco was great. Views of mountains and the sea wow wow. Bus stop close by. There was a show almost every night: fire show, belly dancing, life music, etc.

I don’t even know where to begin. This hotel claims to be a 4-star, but nothing lives up to the standards you’d expect — not even close.
The majority of the staff is incredibly rude, especially towards tourists. They treat you like you’re bothering them for simply asking basic questions or requesting what was promised. There’s absolutely no sense of hospitality or professionalism.
Let’s talk about the food: meal times are a joke. They set specific hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they don’t respect them at all. If it says food is served until 10am, good luck getting anything after 9:30 — they’ll start packing everything up and even shut the doors early. No explanation, no apology.
One of the biggest disappointments was the gözleme stand. According to the hotel’s own schedule, it’s supposed to be open for 4.5 hours every day. In reality, it’s open for maybe 30 minutes — if you’re lucky. And don’t even think about asking for more than one — the lady running it will just tell you she “can’t make that many” and send you away.
In short: this place is all show and no substance. Poor service, false advertising, and an overall hostile atmosphere. Definitely not worth the money, and definitely not a 4-star experience. I would never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, specially if you are not russian, since half of the staff can’t even speak turkish or english.

I visited the hotel with a friend in early June and was very satisfied. In this price range, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in recent years. I appreciated the cleanliness of the beach and sea, the great food both in the main restaurant and beach bar, and the well-maintained rooms and common areas. A big plus goes to the hotel’s eco-friendly approach – recycling bins, refillable cold water stations on the beach, and reusable plastic cups. The whole area felt clean and well-managed. Evening shows in the amphitheater were of good quality, but I missed the option to dance. A louder music program or beachside disco would have been great. We experienced one live music night and the dance floor was full by 9 PM – it was our favorite evening! I’m sure more guests would enjoy regular opportunities to dance. Daytime music in the beach bar was pleasant and familiar – radio-style music suitable for all age groups. Wi-Fi was unreliable, especially outside the main hotel building. Note that most guests and staff are Russian-speaking. Sunbeds on the beach are placed quite close together, but there were always enough available, so we could easily move between sun and shade. Overall, a very enjoyable stay – I’d love to return, especially if there’s more evening dancing next time. :)

From the reviews i expected way more from this hotel, the rooms are old, dirty, outdated and the conditioner in the room are old and broken. The worst part is the rooms are infested with cockroaches. And it’s not only the rooms full with the cockroaches also the restaurant. We had our room switched because of the infestation, but a few days later we found the cockroaches in our new room again. Also during all of the meals of the day you can smell cigarette smoke from other hotel visitors. Overall the food is nice. The service is quick, the staff is nice and helpful.
