Fore Resort & Spa in Kemer

Dead atmosphere, staff and guests miserable, filthy and additional cost for a safe (didn't realise that still happened) Worst hotel I've ever booked, 4 stars... absolutely not, 2 stars at best. We've travelled all over the world and appreciate that the star system varies from country to country, but this wasnt anywhere near a 4 star. Even our star tour rep admitted it wasn't a nice hotel. On arriving at the hotel, we were hopeful, just starting our holiday and were in a good mood. We tried to be friendly with the receptionist but he wasn't interested in talking to us and didn't even break into a smile. We initially were given a single berth room with a single one person wardrobe with another single put in the room, I spoke with the receptionist, to see what could be done as this room was awful, it was supposed to be an upgraded garden room, it was a tiny room and the balcony opened out onto a noisy busy road, not the relaxing break we were looking for. The receptionist was rude and told me "you've got what you booked what's your problem" he only offered another room because I insisted. There was a standard room available which we accepted as on face value it was marginally better than the upgraded room. After staying one night, I couldn't bring myself to get inside the bed as it didn't feel clean. Reading the hotel information in the room you are met with a list of "don'ts" Don't take food to your room, don't take drink to your room and a few others. Felt like a prison. We spoke with the rep about the cleanliness, he asked the hirel to clean our room, which was done. Unfortunately because the dirty is do ingrained whilst it had been cleaned, it didn't really make much difference. We checked out of the hotel and moved to another one as we just couldn't stay. The receptionist who we'd seen previously was there when we went to check out with out rep. He was again rude, seemingly surprised that we were not happy. Our rep told us that the receptionist is rude because he's used to dealing with Russians, I'm not sure that's a good enough reason, you should be treated politely regardless of nationality. I noticed an equality statement on the wall, which referenced the usual race, disability etc. But not sex or gender, which makes me question if the reason we were badly treated was because my mother and I are women and therefore weren't deemed important, because that's exactly how we felt. Something we didn't experience when we moved to a different hotel (one we plan on returning to in the near future) I had read lots of positive reviews, which is why we booked this hotel, but I can only assume that they are used to cheap hotels or aren't bothered by dirty rooms. Food was basic and limited, no-one met you on arrival so it wasn't clear where everything was or what was allowed. We really wanted to like this hotel, sadly we didn't.

Lovely hotel, all staff work extremely hard all day every day. Only a 10-15 minute stroll if that from hotel, to local shops. Had a issue with our room on arrival, as love holidays booked us a Economy room. But for only a small fee the following morning our room was upgraded. Food is always nice and fresh, it is a Buffet. So for the reviews saying food is Luke warm, obviously they are hot held. We had no issues with the food/drinks. The fast food option had chips every day, Burgers made fresh. Good variety of desserts. Garden and ground absolutely immaculate. Gardner always present pruning the Garden, entertainment is good mixture of cultures something for everyone.
