Hillcity Hotel - Adults Only in Kas

I stayed at this hotel for 21 days, which gave me plenty of time to experience its shortcomings.

Unfortunately, a large part of my stay was plagued by issues. For five days, I had water problems and couldn’t shower properly, wasting hours waiting for it to be resolved. On my last day, there was no hot water at all—forcing a cold shower and ending the stay on a particularly bad note.

The pool was out of use for an entire week, and about a third of my stay was disrupted by constant technical work—technicians entering rooms to install fly screens, fix fire alarms, and carry out other maintenance in other areas of the hotel. These interruptions were noisy, unannounced, and highly disruptive.

The rooms are serviceable but outdated and poorly maintained—cracked furniture, damaged floors, faulty light fixtures, and worn-out fittings throughout. Soundproofing is poor and the internet is unreliable, constantly cutting out.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent. My room went uncleaned for five days at one point, and even when it was cleaned, important areas were often missed unless specifically requested.

The only redeeming features are the stunning view and the convenient location, with a bus stop right outside offering easy access to the city. It’s the cheapest hotel in the area—but unfortunately, the experience reflects that price in all the wrong ways.

Some small features were similar, but the bed shown in the listing was from another room, and there was no direct access to the infinity pool as the photos suggest. The property was poorly maintained, with rust and visible signs of neglect — far from what you expect when booking based on the pictures.

Even worse, the cleanliness was unacceptable and the overall care of the property was completely off.

When I pointed out these issues, the staff was arrogant, unhelpful, and impolite. I was told I could leave if I wanted, but no refund would be offered — no apology, no attempt to fix the situation.

This place disrespects guests and misleads customers. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.
