The host were friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet room, and good breakfast. The free car park was nice to have. The building and facilities, although a bit dated, were good overall.

The staff was very nice. But the rooms were very bad. They had black and red bed sheets seemed clean but I couldn’t dare to sit or sleep in the bed. I checked in, saw the room, checked out right away.

Our room was clean and spacious. The lighting in the room was not great. One day, no housekeeping was done.
The hotel is very close to the Cambridge train station and there are lots of coffee shops near the hotel. We ate our breakfast there one morning.

Soooo welcoming
Welcoming! Julie was the perfect host, lovely young gentleman showed me to my room, loved that as I had a long journey. Paul was friendly and had a nice breakfast. Would love to stay there again.

A lot of noise at night from outside roads and bars . No AC super hot, but the staff is nice.

A really lovely place
We stayed for a night and had a lovely time. The people who worked there were so lovely and accomodating. The room was really clean, the bed was super comfy and the coffee/tea station in the room was really nice. We had breakfast in the morning and it was absolutey delicious. Overall a 10/10 stay.

The most intimate hotel I stayed in in Cambridge, comfortable and warm, with very convenient transportation, next to a food supermarket and Costa, and very close to the train station and bus station.

A family of three booked a family suite. The room had four beds, which was quite big. The hotel is quite old, and it is an old-fashioned hotel + restaurant. The first floor is the hotel bar, and the second floor is the guest room. The door is still opened with a key. If you like the British style of the 1990s, you can try it. The hotel still uses a book to check in, which is very old school. When registering at the door, the local elders joked and spoke a few words in Chinese, which was very cute. The bar downstairs should also be the club of the local football team.

Good!!!! Very warm hotel

The guest room is located on the second floor of the bar. The decoration facilities are good and the cleaning is very clean. The accommodation experience is good. Although it is a bar, it is not very noisy at night. There will be some noise from passing vehicles in the rooms near the roadside, but the impact is not big. The only drawback is that there is no special locked room for luggage storage. It is only left in the corner of the corridor without special supervision.

Pizza was over a hour late, stone cold, tiny, ugly and repulsive couldn’t finish it. Would be 0 stars if possible. Will never order from here again. Waste of money

I usually use restaurants on a weekend to sit in and get some emails and work admin done. I have come to the Bella Italia in the retail park for the best part of two months on a Saturday or Sunday taking advantage of vouchers and as a convenient venue near where I live. Despite the fact that the food is good and that voucher deals offered are generous, the service wasn't great to begin with and has gotten steadily worse. I have had to go out of my way to get the attention of the waiters to get a glass of water let alone take my order. One bad experience too many I'm afraid so I don't think I will be coming back despite the good food. I have never felt inclined to write a negative review like this and it it saddens me to do so but this is the first time I have been made to feel unwelcome at a restaurant I consider one of my "regulars". Better of heading to Chiquito's or Frankie and Benny's next door or the Bella Italia on Bridge Street where the staff are much friendlier and attentive. :( Sincerely hope things turnaround as otherwise it is a lovely restaurant.

My friends and I went for dinner and apart from one of us, we were all able to finish our meal. The reason being is that the Marco Polo pasta was a bit sweet for my friend's taste. It was like dessert instead of a main course. However their dessert is decent. Having them in a shot glass is perfect amount I would want to eat after my meal.
They do have a good wine selection.

Food was very middle of the road. Didn't start well with a bland and warm vanilla shake. One pizza was very thin, but limp rather than crispy. My ribs were about 50% fat, and sweetcorn was soft. Other half said her ravioli was nice. We saw one waiter slip and drop a meal. I suspect it might have been due to the large amount of food waste on the floor. It was a Saturday night, but there was enough to suggest it hadn't all been dropped this evening.

Great fun but pricey. I would pre book as it gets busy. Go on the deal days it's a bit cheaper

The bumpers didn't go down when they were meant to and we couldn't write our names as the backspace didn't work. Great time though!

1 star because they didn't offer me the student discount for 5 pounds instead of 13 and when i afterwards asked them about it ( since then i had heard about student discount ) they said they could not give money back or a free bowling game. It was bad the manager was rude and told me to suck my own cock

Planned a surprise birthday party here, which was great. I talked to the manager before hand, and he allowed us to bring our own cake, which was amazing! They even offered to store it for us to keep it cool. I got in line to buy another round for our group, waited in line for an hour, paid, and when I got back to our lanes, they had kicked us off one of our lanes, and placed someone else on them. Apparently what happened was, while I was paying for more rounds, the four that were on that particular lane had taken their two kids to the bathroom, then they came by while I was paying for those lanes and asked if those people where still here. The person they asked was not in our group so they shrugged and said I don't know. I came back from paying and someone else was bowling and the kids were said that they couldn't bowl with us. I went back in line to sort it out and stood there for yet another 45 minutes, and it took talking to them and showing them my receipts to finally get it sorted, they wanted to split up our group at first, but by the time the manager came around, those other people were finishing up their last frames anyways. In the mean time while we waited to get everything sorted, the birthday guy was happy just drinking his beers and hanging out with his friends and family. Because of all of the chaos and confusion, the manager, who was very nice offered us some free games for another visit after correcting the problem. I know the employees are just young kids, but perhaps they could take an extra day or so to train them better on the computer system, and hire a few more for those busy times, as it is such a big place. Over all the party was good, and everyone had fun, I was just very disappointed in the wait times and the confusion. I did like how we could order our food online while we booked our party, however I did not like that when I tried to call to ask questions, they would not give a phone number or connect us to that location's manager. Instead I had to email him, and I booked all of this just before the holidays so I did not hear back for sometime, and almost ended up booking elsewhere because of that. I think maybe the company should look into managing that a bit better, or at least having someone that can answer questions when you call to book the party. But again, the manager was really great, and because of him, I gave a higher rating than I probably would have otherwise.

A decent place for bowling as long as it's not overcrowded. We were a huge group and the servicing staff seemed to struggle quite a lot. Nonetheless we had some fun.

Me and the Mrs went here for dinner. We were greeted very harshly. She got a bacon cheeseburger with only one piece of bacon on it. We were served warm water and the pasta was atrocious. The sauce on it was pitiful they might have as well just served me wet pasta. And it took us forever to get the bill, the place wasn’t even busy there were three other tables

Just awful. No draught drinks proved to be the indicator of how the meal was going to go.
Burger was inedible and fries were cold and rubbery. Presumably re-heated. Who can't produce a decent bacon cheese burger n fries these days?
Only salvation were the hot wings starter.
Server didn't seem to care I didn't/couldn't eat the main course. Leave a Tip? Ah no! Retuning? Not a chance! Plenty of alternative eatery options close by, go elsewhere!

Ordered coffee and tea after eating breakfast. .. sausage not cooked properly .. 20 minutes and still sitting here waiting .. . Have been here before and never been like this and it's not overly busy. Shame .

The food is good for a chain, and nearby the theater and parking garage. Not sure how much of it is authentic, as an actual American from New York, I've never seen some of the dishes back home. But kids like it and it's as good as any other chain back home like Applebee's or Chili's.
27.02.2017 Kelly
Food is okay... Is that what "American food" is? I'm an American... I can see some similarities, but in my opinion, that's not the Italian-American I grew up with on the East Coast! I would still eat there again after a couple of drinks or so. Good french-fries!
