Excellent location, next to Cambridge North Train Station.
The room is new, clean and good space for luggage.
Hotel staff are very nice and helpful.
Good choice to stay in Cambridge.
Really nice and tidy room, service is great, we really liked. But pool is not as we expected, water was not so clean and a bit small
Great experience! Amazing stay
Stayed at Novotel Cambridge North recently and had a really solid experience overall. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference.
The facilities were impressively clean, especially the swimming pool and sauna - both well maintained and relaxing to use. Breakfast was more than sufficient, with a great standard full English buffet that was always topped up quickly...
New and clean budget hotel with a very convenient location. Breakfast is served with good quality.
My stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues.
Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected...

A convenient and comfortable hotel located right next to Cambridge Railway Station. There are a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Staff are attentive and polite, including those at reception and housekeeping. Another great feature is that you can watch the sunset from the guest room’s window.
We had a lovely stay at ibis Cambridge. The location is excellent, especially being so close to the train station, which made traveling very easy. Overall, it’s a great spot for exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Had a comfortable stay at the ibis in Cambridge. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The best thing is the location — it’s right next to the train station, which makes it really convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room has a great view too. There’s a bar open 24 hours and a nice lounge area on the first floor to sit and relax. No complaints at all. I’d happily stay here...
Quiet room, next door to the train station, food, drink and hot drinks available 24/7 pizzas till 3am.
Lounge space quite pleasant, free books, games, live music 🎶 sometimes.
I just want to express my disappointment from my recent stay in İbis Cambridge !!!Unfortunately my expirience did not meet the standards that I expected . The issue was bathroom vent which was blowing freezing air and was making annoying noise all night. Even outside was warmer than inside in the room. This was one of my worst hotel experiences I have had .
Pretty good, and close to the train station, which is a big plus. It's worth staying here – convenient and clean. When I booked, it said free breakfast was included, but after booking, it showed no breakfast and that I'd have to pay.

Hotel was very helpful on queries on adding my son due to last minute changes to lodging.
Room is reasonably furnished.

Excellent location, friendly staffs

The service and the locations are all great. The room size is slightly small
I booked this hotel for my child who is studying away from home. He said the location is great and the transportation is quite convenient, especially during the Christmas holidays. In addition to breakfast and dinner, the hotel also offers à la carte options, so he was quite satisfied.
We were very satisfied with the room, and the staff were warm and attentive. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with many restaurants to choose from right outside. We even rented bicycles from the hotel to explore Cambridge, which was great!
The hotel is very beautiful. The room is quite big. There is a 24-hour fitness center. The breakfast is quite varied.
I’m disappointed with this hotel, not impressed with dimly light room & quite basic in decor. From the review it was impressive that’s why we chose this hotel over Hotel du Vin this time. I’d choose Hotel du Vin when next visit Cambridge.
Very peaceful and spacious environment. There is an extremely great view too, recommend staying here if you’re visiting the university.

It is a wonderful, cozy hotel with an excellent location — just a short walk from the railway station, which is especially convenient when traveling with luggage or children.
If you are staying with kids, I highly recommend booking a room with a third bed. It is genuinely comfortable and well thought out, not just a nominal extra bed as is often the case in hotels.
The staff are polite, attentive,...
The location is fantastic, very close to the train station, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was good, and museums and several colleges were all within walking distance. We were very satisfied.
The hotel and the hotel room was amazing. I booked an executive room with the balcony as I like to spend some time on there unfortunately the room next door Continuously smoking ******** out there so I was unable to use the balcony so I was very disgruntled.
I ordered a bottle of Fizz which stated £30 on the menu to find out the next day I’ll build 110 for it.
The hotel is very good. The staff are professional and kind. Breakfast is delicious and rich.we can walk to all sightseeing places from the hotel and go to train station about five minutes.room is large and convenient. Something in the room are classic and beautiful.
It is just opposite Cambridge Railway Station. The room is large and comfortable, and there is a strong academic atmosphere. You can take the bus to Cambridge or walk about 1km. There are several coffee shops and supermarkets downstairs, making it very convenient for eating and drinking coffee.
The room is OK, the breakfast is good, the staff is nice, and the hotel is just across the road from the train station. It is very convenient to go anywhere.

Good location nice architecture with a garden but it can get quite dark at night with no lamppost or lights
Room is fine but cleanliness is just sos
Staying here is a unique experience; it feels like being in a movie because of the historic buildings and beautiful gardens. It is a great way to save money in Cambridge compared to regular hotels. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom. The room was basic but very clean and spacious.
The shared bathrooms were always clean and I never had to wait to use them. The only downside is that there...
great location. the staffs are friendly and helpful. thank you
The room was very tidy and nice. They had all the amenities, including soap, body wash, shampoo, tea, and instant coffee. They even had coffee pots. Towels were changed everyday too. There is no hair dryer, but they gave me enough towel to dry my long hair thoroughly though. The room I stayed was an attic room, with slanted ceiling, but I loved it because I could see the sky. Had an amazing and comfortable stay at Holiday Inn. Highly recommende
My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working, the paint in the room was peeling, and there was visible rust on the door hinges, which made the space feel poorly maintained.
The most frustrating issue was the smoke detector going off with false alarms several times, including in the early morning. When I tried calling the front desk for assistance, no one answered...
Excelent place to rest with friends
a comfortable stay with decent facilities!
Nice hotel but a bit outdated and could do with a renovation. Enjoyed our stay though and would probably come back, mainly for the swimming pool facilities and for nice breakfast.

This hotel was great location and well maintained.
I stayed in a room with River view on ground floor and it was amazing. Hotel has a great resting/bar by riverside.
I also opted for free breakfast but that seemed a wrong decision. Options could be increased in breakfast considering all other Hilton hotels I have stayed around the world.
absolutely excellent experience. There's charging facilities for EVs too. Most importantly, its right next to the river and within the quaint vibes and atmosphere of Cambridgetown.
This hotel is located by the river, just a short walk, less than ten minutes, from Cambridge University and the shopping center. The river view rooms offer beautiful scenery, including a small park across the way. The room was clean with a lovely British style, and the bed was very comfortable. A tip for staying in UK hotels: it's best to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, as rooms...
Good hotel and good location. Near River Cam and wasy walk to town centre. Staff so friendly and good breakfast. Will come back again. Thanks
Excellent all things in this hotel. I have lunch set at Garden restaurant that the portion of food is quite large with reasonable prices. All food and desserts is taste good.
The hotel is quite new and not far from the city center, located near the River Cam. However, the cleaning staff are really... when we first checked in, there was un-flushed pee in the toilet, and they left a cleaning rag in the wardrobe after cleaning. It's truly a headache! 😩

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Cambridge. Right outside, there's a bus stop with frequent buses, making it super convenient to get to Cambridge University and the city center (about 10 minutes away). Plus, there's a supermarket, a pizza place, and a bakery/coffee shop all within easy reach. The facilities are also quite new.
Room was very clean and cosy. Staff were helpful and gave us lots of good travel advice. However, it is a bit far from the town centre and ubers are advised. Overall, a great stay.
very nice hotle, located in Eddington, girton. you can take U-bus to city centre.
The hotel is a bit far from the main Cambridge University area, requiring a bus ride, but it's still very convenient as most Cambridge attractions don't have parking, so taking the bus is the usual way to get around. The front desk staff were also very friendly and patient in answering questions. While early check-in wasn't possible, they did offer luggage storage. My only minor complaint is that there...
Lovely hotel near Cambridge. Slightly outisde the town centre that needs 10mins drive. But for the very affordable room rate, it is a relatively good hotel to stay with ample parking in and around the hotel.

I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes. The room had a good temperature...

Thank you for making our stay welcoming.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and the standout factor was without a doubt the service. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our visit. A special shout‑out to Jorgen, who kindly offered us a complimentary drink when our food was delayed. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel on Sunday night so that in itself must speak volumes.

I stayed in a "premium" king room. There was nothing premium about it. The bathroom was in VERY poor condition, and hadn't been cleaned prior to checking in. A very warm welcome at the front desk from Reuben.
Enjoyed a nice lunch in the bar lounge.
Room good but found that the carpet is in dire need of cleaning lots of marks evident also the bathroom was of adequate cleanliness also. Coffee offering poor considering the Paddy and Scott option available in the bar lounge.
Overall a comfortable pleasant stay, not to be too negative -would stay again.

Staff so helpful - organised early check in so I could do a call and came and checked / replenished goodies immediately :)

A very basic stay, everything looks beautiful on the outside, hotel staff very friendly, room nice size but not comfortable in terms of bed/pillows. Spa: steam room excellent, the sauna door doesn’t shut properly and also the rubber lining has fallen away therefore you lose a lot of heat, pool on the cool side and jacuzzi luke warm at best.

Room was clean and very comfortable, bathroom facilities were great.
Service from reception wasn’t particularly welcoming although our room request was provided when we asked. Service at dinner was sloppy; drinks forgotten and then charged for a more expensive glass of wine and just “topped up” with the cheaper bottle. Breakfast service was much better.
Room was lovely, apart from the heating not working for the first night, was fixed by the second.
Great location, large comfortable room, good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful.
The customer service in this hotel is excellent; it’s a really quirky boutique hotel with nooks and crannies everywhere. The bar in the cellar is great with, once again, excellent service from all of the staff. We will definitely be back.
This hotel is ideal for visiting Cambridge. Parking is in another hotels unsecure outside parking area a short drive away. The staff helped get our cases into and out of the hotel and the room was well fitted out and very comfortable.
Having been told that the bar was open til 11pm we returned at 10.45 to find it locked up. The bar manager happened to be in reception and kindly served us, we needed to sit in a room separate from the bar. OK, but not what we expected.

I stayed here on my own for 2 nights in December and is thought it was lovely.
Victorian building, with plenty of charm, features and creaks, letting you know how old and well maintained it is.
My room was plenty big enough for me, a lovely comfortable bed, heating, TV, everything I needed really. Bathroom was good, all worked perfectly, no problems at all.
Location is great, short walks to different...
The hotel is neat and clean, and so is the room. The receptionist was also able to help me change my rooms so I could have both rooms near each other. The only downside, perhaps, was the inability to serve an omelette, as I paid for an oriental breakfast, so I was a bit expecting that for my son. But overall, it's a great alternative to enjoying Cambridge! They also have car parks, and just ask them...
The traditional British-style exterior is very charming, with well-tended seasonal flowers beautifully adorning the entrance. The rooms are not spacious, but they are compact, cozy, and fully functional. Despite its excellent access to the center of Cambridge, it offers accommodation at a very reasonable price, making it a truly valuable find.
First of all, I'd like to thank them for their hospitality. They were friendly and courteous throughout my week-long stay. My room was clean, and they were helpful when I needed anything. I thought the hotel's location was excellent; I had easy access to everything. If I ever go back to Cambridge, it will definitely be my preferred accommodation. Thank you again for your quick, friendly conversations...

Rooms were adequate and clean. Breakfast and all staff especially the reception staff were great
Room clean, but a bit "monastic"...wasn't expecting more. Somewhat of a "maze" of corridors. Grounds and building beautiful. Ample parking. Didn't have breakfast.
Staff polite, room fine for price paid. Lovely hot shower. Amazing grounds to walk in and enjoy all year round. Breakfast superb, had everything i wanted and more but eggs, sausages and bacon could have bern hotter.
Breakfast excellent. Car park is now quite a walk from the main entrance so bring an umbrella in case of rain. Breakfast really good. My bathroom fan wasn't working well and there was damp on the ceiling. They let me in early which I am very grateful for.
Beautiful use of such an historical building. With superb gardens. A refreshing respite after a busy day exploring Cambridge.
