ibis Central Station Hotel, Cambridge1 / 50

Cambridge, 2 Station Square (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very good stay. Room is small, bed is very narrow. Location is just next to train station.
the hotel service is very good, the room is clean, everything is perfect!
Very close to train station and have supermarket nearby, very convenient
The room was clean and tidy! The train station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel! There is already a supermarket, bus stop and taxi stand opposite the hotel! I will come again next time!
The hotel is a perfect location which is next to the railway station and is highly accessible to city centre. Staff in hotel is helpful and friendly. The room has a suitable size, perfect for travellers of two. The room has all required amenities, including kettle, etc.
The hotel is very clean and perfectly located just next to the train station. The rooms are clean, comfy and quiet. The buffet breakfast was very good. Only issue was no water in the room. Usually there is one small bottle at welcome. Overall a very pleasant stay at reasonable price.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Has a sauna which was nice and a swimming pool. Only downside is you need to pay extra for parking (about £17 overnight) which isn’t clearly advertised
Clean room , nice staff I have to pay 14.5 for parking Moreover , the breakfast is not great and limited options
Nice Staff and helpful. We tried to sleep on the queen size bed and sofa bed which are comfortable! Hotel opposite has Co-op Supermarket, very convenience! Here has swimming pool and gym house, it's clean! Beside the hotel has a carpark, £14.3 for 1 day.
Great hotel. Modern, spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great pool and gym. Plus checkout was at 12 o’clock so no rushing in the morning to leave the room. Easy to get the bus or train into central Cambridge.
Great hotel, a bit outside the centre but with a train station just next to it. Would stay there again .
This Novotel is close to the Cambridge North station and offer a good space in UK. There is no desk in the room but you can use the lobby.

very convenient, excellent for family trip, spacious room and perfect location if you are driving to Cambridge.
We had a lovely stay at The Fellows. Just a short walk into Cambridge city center. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing. I would definitely recommend
Very welcoming, cozy, great food and service Well above expectations.
Great hotel in a good location to wander into the centre of Cambridge.
Fabulous stay in a great location. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the city centre. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite.and the rooms have everything you could possibly wish for. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices and quality items available. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning.
Lovely service and great location. I will come back again and even consider a long stay because the hotel is wonderful. Dinner menu could have been more varied given the price and pool is small but overall a lovely weekend

Location - I needed to be close to the train station, quite a spacious room, nice not-disturbing interior design.
I booked Afternoon Tea yesterday with a medium-sized group for a friend's surprise baby shower. I'd chosen the Tamburlaine because of its proximity to the station. We all had a wonderful experience in the Garden Room, and would highly recommend it. All the staff, from the man on the door to our servers, were excellent and helpful. At several points, the room was full, but staff were still happily bringing...
The rooms are good ,however the service during breakfast is completely under standard to any other hotels I have visited the staff have to be chased to deliver for any kind off consistent service, during the time I stayed here it was not busy they ran out of orange juice, had no lemons, when a substitute was suggested it was never delivered, given coffee no milk..asked for milk the waiter clearing table...
The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Cambridge station and very easy to find. We were a little worried that being so close to the train station might mean a less relaxing atmosphere, but the rooms are well insulated from any noise and the hotel doesn't run by the train tracks so this wasn't a problem. All of the staff were very attentive and happy to help. We mentioned in passing that it was a special...
Quick check-in. Nice room with huge comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was OK nothing special really. Good location near station but no parking makes it a little awkward.
Afternoon Tea. Impressive hotel and greetings by staff of on entry was very good. Bit vague by staff over booking because it was a voucher, and we were disappointed as we were seated on the sofa arrangement and not at a table like the rest of the guests . Food was 5* and looked delightful but the waitress did knock over 3 glasses of sparkling wine all over the table ( tall glasses ,very low table ...

Good location, very close to the shopping mall and restaurant
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Overall, a very pleasant experience...
Great place in center of university district
During our check in, we were not adviced about any of the amenities of the hotel, about the city or even the timing of check out… We were a family of 3, where 2 of them has more than 76 years.  The room was prepared only for receiving 2 petiole when we have paid for 3. We have called indicating that and they have solved the situation.  However, even with the knowledge with the ages of the guests...
Location is superb! Room was clean and spacious, breakfast and in room dining were amazing
The location is perfect for walking to the centre, the reception can provide the basic stuff for us when we check in for example toothbrush, shaver set, etc, so we did not need to ask after entering the room

Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms great, food excellent and well stocked bar.
An excellent hotel in Cambridge. Easy short walk to the city, lovely room which was very clean. Great Air Con, coffee and tea facilities in the room. Breakfast was excellent.
Wonderful hotel, in a great location, with excellent service.
General Good. Bit of noisy at night if you live at the top floor. Friendly staff
The Gonville Hotel is gorgeous. Great staff, beautiful boutique hotel. Bar area is lovely and so is the restaurant. Added bonus was a complimentary tour in their Bentley (book in advance). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Was visiting a relative so needed a convenient place. My priority is cleanliness. Am coming from Asia / Tropics so was apprehensive over heat and non-aircon. Room was a bit warm but it cools at night esp if you leave window open. I had a handheld fan which served my purpose - I had it on the whole night to cool me. My room was on 3rd floor so it meant I had to climb 2 flights of steps each time...
Great location, very easy to get about to the restaurants and sights in central Cambridge or to take a pleasant walk along the river. It was a baking hot day so not having air conditioning was a bit sweaty, though I knew that and it was clearly stated when booking - raised ground floor window opened directly onto fire escape which made leaving it open through the night unfortunately. Room was clean...
Nice staff , good location, convenient car park , but quilt with some dirts
I think as a hotel at this price is very good! The room is clean and the room is not small. Besides, the scenery outside the window is very beautiful. It seems like an idyllic small town: quiet and peaceful. What’s more, the service is very good. It also includes the breakfast. The bread, fruit and yogurt are all delicious. After all, it’s a very good hotel!
The breakfast options are very limited, and the hotel has no elevator. Staying on higher floors means you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself, which is tiring. It's about a 15-minute walk to the city center.
A basic hotel. Great staff who were friendly and helpful . They provided a map of the local area. Great location and clean.

Very good location just a few minutes away from the central. The balcony room is very nice with fantastic view of the river and the garden. Very nice service.
Modern, well-appointed hotel in a good location close to central Cambridge, a punting station, the university, and the astonishing Fitzwilliam museum. Rooms are very well designed, some with balconies. Pleasant and helpful staff. Not inexpensive, but you only live once.
Great location but there were few problems Shower door was not working so we we had to took a shower

We had a lovely stay at this hotel — the location is excellent, just steps away from the Maths Bridge and a punting station, making it perfect for exploring Cambridge. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety. We also had a nice view from the balcony, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!
Beautifully themed rooms, which elevate what would actually be a rather small room, and made it feel like a quaint and cosy boutique hotel. Loved the balcony overlooking the river, giving us a unique view of greenery and water. And the beds were super comfy. Appreciated the Nespresso machine, the wide choice of teas and the complimentary water and biscuits, plus, the property is a short stroll to the...

Lovely quiet location, the spa was really nice, spacious and clean room.
The front desk service is very welcoming, including invitations to dinner, etc. The breakfast is also very good and the environment is good.
Accommodation was fine, staff friendly and attentative. Enjoyed using the large swiming pool.
Lovely venue with superb food. The old part of the hotel is slightly old and to a certain extent, a little run down. Having said this, the spa facilities and the new rooms are wonderful, all in a beautiful setting. The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend staying in the newer rooms.
Enjoyed the spa and hotel experience. Food a bit pricey for my taste but excellent quality. Had a spa treatment and got a coupon for my next time. Room was nice and grounds very beautiful.
A single night stay with work. The room was great with a comfy bed and a nice decor. Also had a small patio area. We ate dinner in the bar and it was very good quality food. The breakfast was also great. Just one thing to note is that the rooms are seperated from the main building with the bar and restaurant by a short walk outside.

We love the hotel rooms are clean and big with lovely views
great central location everything in walking distance from the hotel great food on the top floor restaurant staff were great very helpful
Rooms are beautiful!!! Hotel is rather hard to find as Google maps doesn't seem to know where it is. Once we found it we thoroughly enjoyed it. The spa is a little small with only 1 sauna and 1 steam room so not what I would really call a 'spa' still relaxing nether the less. Food at breakfast was really tasty with loads of options on the continental buffet.
It is a lovely place with panaromic view on roof terraced restaurant. Food was nice. Staffs were very friendly. Nice roof top bar & garden.
Food was good. Staff not very attentive. We would have liked to try a range of teas but were not given the opportunity it to do so. One pot per person and no offer of refill. Only 1 small lift. We were celebrating my Aunts 70th birthday but they did nothing to make her feel special. Overall it was average
We stayed for one night in April, our top floor bedroom having fantastic views over Magdalene College and the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central for shops, restaurants and sightseeing. There is no on site parking, instead a valet parking service is provided for an additional charge.

Brilliant service room lovely breakfast great and the services from was fantastic Front desk lady was very attentive will definitely recommend this hotel
Nice hotel at a reasonable price Centralish location, 10 min walk to train station or into town Very nice breakfast
Every thing was just fine for a 3 star hotel. Walls thin as paper, we could hear the couple next door as we were in the same room. Unfortunately for us they were fighting all morning
Perfect little place to stay at a great price. Scrupulously clean, friendly staff, free parking, and including a tasty breakfast..... and only a 20 min straight walk to the town centre. Can't fault this hotel except the roomy bed was maybe a bit hard for us. Apart from that, perfect. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend!
It was a great location, clean and friendly with a nice lounge. Only downside was a bit of traffic noise at night.
Google Maps brought us to wrong location. Hotel is nice with free parking. Very nice room. Walking distance to many attractions. Lovely breakfast included. We enjoyed our stay here. Note that hotel has no lift, only stairs.

We were only here 1 night and although the bedroom and the shower room were very small they were clean and well equipped and absolutely fine. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful too. I'd be happy to book this hotel again.
Andrzel at the front desk was very nice
Lovely central hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s in an old building so a little creeky and noisy but that didn’t bother our stay.
The room was small and there was a lot of limescale in the kettle. The service was good, with a waiter carrying the luggage downstairs. This was a great help for guests in rooms without elevators.
Great location for sightseeing. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Would stay again.

Great hotel and staff this was our second time staying there and we had a great time
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Cambridge during my visit – tucked away in a very quiet, wooded area outside the city. While it offered a peaceful environment and a decent breakfast to start the day ☕🍳, the location felt quite remote – especially at night, when it was eerily silent and surrounded by trees. 🌌🌳 The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and all the basics covered. Probably easier for people driving over- otherwise a great weekend stay, specially with the amenities. Cocktails on site were pretty decent, and the selection of beers on tap. Football on screen was also handy -

Still needs a car to get an easy access to the town. But facilities are very easy to use, and we loved the swimming pool
The hotel staffs are excellent included the check in staff, swimming pool receptionist, restaurant staffs, and the cleaner,I left my mobile phone when check out,I went to my car to search and when I returned to the lobby,a staff holding my phone and wait for me there.Grateful to them made my term break trip so impressed and will definitely go back if I had holidays, highly recommend

Have to say the room was sparse. One wardrobe with hanging space, only shelf too high to be able to use. No drawers to put underwear in or other garments. Avoid going to breakfast too early as is full of workmen getting up, pulling their plates high, leaving just scraps for other visitors. We were let asking for items to put on our plates.
Staff very helpful, Chris, Stefam and Ewa all went above and beyond to make our stay special! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend. Food was great and nice we could bring our little doggie! Breakfast in the lobby was also very tasty!
The road having been upgraded took a while to find. Busy location. The food was reasonable. Went to the restaurant area first to be told to wait. Went to car and came back to this time be told bar snacks were upstairs. Not clear how to get to the bar area. Asked to be pointed out, not so politely.
The Cambridgeshire golf club really looked after us this weekend ,we had a late cancellation by another club that left us looking for a new venue, tee times and accommodation for a group of 36. My husband and I recently stayed here, having stayed at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. The location is excellent - you're within a 10 minute walk of most places and Cambridge itself is lovely. We also found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. However, for the rate that we paid (we went for one of the Suites) we found the room to be very disappointing and not at all like the pictures advertised...
Truly enjoyed our stay at this refurbished industrial age set of buildings combined into a hotel. Nice backyard space, though mostly for smoking including a cigar den. Bistro is good and a basement bar with lots of nooks to settle into. Room was large, clean and comfortable.
Great place - cozy, authentic, romantic and quiet. Although in the night there is an inner cortyard, which can get too noisy and the smoke from the people smoking can get into the rooms on the first floor. Very friendly staff, great breakfast bistro - see the pics of my favorite avocado toast & poached eggs
