Cambridge, 2, Cambridge Square (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent location, next to Cambridge North Train Station. The room is new, clean and good space for luggage. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Good choice to stay in Cambridge.
Location-wise, it’s just a 4-minute walk from Cambridge North train station, which makes getting in and out incredibly easy
New and clean budget hotel with a very convenient location. Breakfast is served with good quality.
Stayed at Novotel Cambridge North recently and had a really solid experience overall. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference
Breakfast was more than sufficient, with a great standard full English buffet that was always topped up quickly, so nothing ever felt picked over
Overall, a comfortable and well-run stay, particularly if you’re travelling by train or need a quieter base just outside the city

We had a lovely stay at ibis Cambridge. The location is excellent, especially being so close to the train station, which made traveling very easy. Overall, it’s a great spot for exploring the city
The peaceful surroundings coupled with top-notch facilities made my stay truly rejuvenating. As for its location, it couldn’t be more ideal
A convenient and comfortable hotel located right next to Cambridge Railway Station. There are a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Staff are attentive and polite, including those at reception and housekeeping
Quiet room, next door to the train station, food, drink and hot drinks available 24/7 pizzas till 3am. Lounge space quite pleasant, free books, games, live music 🎶 sometimes.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room has a great view too. There’s a bar open 24 hours and a nice lounge area on the first floor to sit and relax
It was alright, worth noting there’s no room service but you can call reception to order something and pick it up when it’s ready.

We went for a Christmas trip with my mum and they treated us like royalty. Food was great. I would highly recommend it.
Perfect for a city break. Best breakfast ever too!
Close to the location where I need to go for business visit.
The room was prepared only for receiving 2 petiole when we have paid for 3. We have called indicating that and they have solved the situation
Excellent location, friendly staffs
The location is good. Bed is comfortable. Nothing special but we only stay 1 night is OK

I booked this hotel for my child who is studying away from home. He said the location is great and the transportation is quite convenient, especially during the Christmas holidays
We were very satisfied with the room, and the staff were warm and attentive. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with many restaurants to choose from right outside
The service and the locations are all great. The room size is slightly small
The hotel is very beautiful. The room is quite big. There is a 24-hour fitness center. The breakfast is quite varied.
In addition to breakfast and dinner, the hotel also offers à la carte options, so he was quite satisfied
We even rented bicycles from the hotel to explore Cambridge, which was great!

I didn't catch her name, but the server with the pink fluffy pen was especially good. She went above and beyond for us. Thoughtfully boxing up the extra treats to take home was an especially nice touch
It is a wonderful, cozy hotel with an excellent location — just a short walk from the railway station, which is especially convenient when traveling with luggage or children
If you are staying with kids, I highly recommend booking a room with a third bed. It is genuinely comfortable and well thought out, not just a nominal extra bed as is often the case in hotels
The location is fantastic, very close to the train station, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was good, and museums and several colleges were all within walking distance. We were very satisfied.
The hotel is located at Cambridge Railway Station. It takes less than a minute to get to the hotel after getting off the train station
It feels rather basic for a hotel of this standard, and more variety and better quality would be appreciated. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Cambridge, especially for family trips

great location. the staffs are friendly and helpful. thank you
The location is very convenient, near the bus station, shopping center, market, boots, H&B. The scenery in the school is very pretty. The shared bathroom is small but clean, a single traveler like me feels very ok
Good location nice architecture with a garden but it can get quite dark at night with no lamppost or lights Room is fine but cleanliness is just sos
Staying here is a unique experience; it feels like being in a movie because of the historic buildings and beautiful gardens. It is a great way to save money in Cambridge compared to regular hotels
There were blinders too, so the sun in the morning was not a worry for me. The room looks very much like a dorm, so there was a table that I can work on, with closet that I can hang my suits on too
There is no hair dryer, but they gave me enough towel to dry my long hair thoroughly though. The room I stayed was an attic room, with slanted ceiling, but I loved it because I could see the sky

There is enough parking on-site to cater for all guests and it was easy to get back onto the motorway, as we left for Peterborough that morning. Will definitely stay again, when I am next again in Cambridge
Location is very accessible by car. It is quiet. The breakfast is very good and up to the standard. There are on site swimming pool and fitness room. Plenty of car park places and free for members to use.
The most frustrating issue was the smoke detector going off with false alarms several times, including in the early morning
Cosy area in hotel. Despite location is little far from town. Everything seems very good
The hotel staffs are excellent included the check in staff, swimming pool receptionist, restaurant staffs, and the cleaner,I left my mobile phone when check out,I went to my car to search and when I returned to the lobby,a staff holding my phone and wait for me there
Had an amazing and comfortable stay at Holiday Inn. Highly recommende

I also opted for free breakfast but that seemed a wrong decision. Options could be increased in breakfast considering all other Hilton hotels I have stayed around the world
This hotel is located by the river, just a short walk, less than ten minutes, from Cambridge University and the shopping center. The river view rooms offer beautiful scenery, including a small park across the way
This hotel was great location and well maintained. I stayed in a room with River view on ground floor and it was amazing. Hotel has a great resting/bar by riverside
Good hotel and good location. Near River Cam and wasy walk to town centre. Staff so friendly and good breakfast. Will come back again. Thanks
The hotel is quite new and not far from the city center, located near the River Cam. However, the cleaning staff are really
The room was clean with a lovely British style, and the bed was very comfortable. A tip for staying in UK hotels: it's best to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, as rooms typically don't provide them

Cambridge, 37 Eddington Avenue (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is located on the outskirts of Cambridge. Right outside, there's a bus stop with frequent buses, making it super convenient to get to Cambridge University and the city center (about 10 minutes away)
very nice hotle, located in Eddington, girton. you can take U-bus to city centre.
Great location in west Cambridge. Friendly staffs and good service
The hotel is a bit far from the main Cambridge University area, requiring a bus ride, but it's still very convenient as most Cambridge attractions don't have parking, so taking the bus is the usual way to get around
Lovely hotel near Cambridge. Slightly outisde the town centre that needs 10mins drive. But for the very affordable room rate, it is a relatively good hotel to stay with ample parking in and around the hotel.
Room was very clean and cosy. Staff were helpful and gave us lots of good travel advice. However, it is a bit far from the town centre and ubers are advised. Overall, a great stay.

Hotel is not in the city but parking is not expensive (6 pounds)
It was a 45 min walk from the Centre of Cambridge along Mill Road or you can get the No 2 bus that costs £3. The reception staff were very helpful and check in was quick. The room had a good temperature and it was cosy
I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes
Good location outside city center, near park and ride or drive into city center directly. Breakfast a bit simple, not even have boiled / fried eggs, no fruits.
The room had a kettle, TV and an iron. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings. The Coffee was Ok there were a range of pastries and muffins all Ok

A very special thank you to Elia, Stefan, Tom, Sally and Peter. You have no idea how many memories you helped us make
Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself
My nephew was new to the hotel experience, but I can honestly say that he had the time of his life exploring. Thank you to each and every one of you for making the three of us so very welcome
I would like to thank all the staff for their most amazing welcome to the three of us, but especially to my two year old nephew. We cannot wait to return as your guests again

Wonderful hotel, in a great location, with excellent service.
Exceptional experience delivered by the friendly staff from the moment you are greeted at reception through to wonderful cocktails at the bar. Thank you Leah, Cherese, Emily, Fredrico and all for a great stay
The Gonville Hotel is gorgeous. Great staff, beautiful boutique hotel. Bar area is lovely and so is the restaurant. Added bonus was a complimentary tour in their Bentley (book in advance)

It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel
It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice
I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel
If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge
Our experience was pretty decent. Room was good a tad cold but they gave us a portable heater and that helped a lot. The room views were amazing. Continental breakfast...meh... dinner was good. Location pretty good.

Staff so helpful - organised early check in so I could do a call and came and checked / replenished goodies immediately :)
Room was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. Health and wellness facilities were really good. Onsite parking was convenient. Would happily stay again.
Great hotel, the staff, food and spa were all great, rooms clean and comfortable
The overall Hotel site is pretty impressive I liked the easy access reception/bar/restaurant and everything is well labelled. The rooms are spacious and well maintained the bathroom was spotless and a nice shower
The health club is a nice touch although could do with a bit of a spruce up but had everything we needed. The staff, brilliant! Especially the waitress who appeared to be on duty forever!!

Lovely hotel, great location, Room upgrades foc which was a bonus, disappointed that the hot tub jets wasn’t working and was also disappointed that on advice by the hotel told to use park street car park, I was parked for less than 24hrs and charged £58!! I nearly fainted
The hotel is a nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and efficient, it’s a great location for everything in Cambridge. The food in “Six” was not very good
Roof bar shut , don’t have many beers available from menu and burger overcooked and dry. Great location Parking extremely expensive
Thank you so much for extremely nice service, nice people. Everything was so nice, i dont have enough words to express my gratitide🤗
We ordered 4 different starters, as a snack - Tapas style, however they were all poor, and you could buy better at M&S. sorry, the rest of the stay was very good, the food let it down a bit
breakfast is an additional cost after an already hefty room rate… £247. without breakfast and without parking. Nice central hotel- but circa £300 for a night away- is taking a liberty

The customer service in this hotel is excellent; it’s a really quirky boutique hotel with nooks and crannies everywhere. The bar in the cellar is great with, once again, excellent service from all of the staff
This hotel is ideal for visiting Cambridge. Parking is in another hotels unsecure outside parking area a short drive away
The staff helped get our cases into and out of the hotel and the room was well fitted out and very comfortable
Room was lovely, apart from the heating not working for the first night, was fixed by the second.
Having been told that the bar was open til 11pm we returned at 10. The bar manager happened to be in reception and kindly served us, we needed to sit in a room separate from the bar

Amazing stay, at an amazing place! Everything located at a walking distance a cafés, food joints, pubs, etc. The hotel staff was amazing and welcoming! Took care of checking in a jiffy
A major highlight was the shared kitchen, where we could buy groceries from the supermarket and cook our favorite meals. The location was excellent too, just about a 10-minute walk from the station
Basically hostel. 5 minutes walking to train station. Central location. There is no shower gel in shared bathroom, although room is equipped with gel dispenser
Everything was nice and clean, and there was nothing to complain about. The best part is that it’s only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Great location!
Good location, near to train station and easy to locate. Tidy and clean.

This hotel has an excellent location near the station with very easy links to the city centre. It has a car-park and it is in excellent decorative order. We were impressed by our good-sized, well-equipped room
Nice clean hotel in excellent location with parking as a much needed bonus. Easy walk to city centre and attractions
It was a great location, clean and friendly with a nice lounge. Only downside was a bit of traffic noise at night.

Very charming Friendly staff and quirky location.
The room was large and in a quiet part of the hotel. Staff for booking in and in the bar and breakfast room were helpful and nice. No passing traffic made for a very restful night's sleep
The food is good and reasonably priced in an ancient village environment, but unfortunately the variety is limited and the location is inconvenient.
Nice garden and surrounding environment for a tranquility stay. The furnishings provide great media for inspiration and meditation, the buffet breakfast is in great quality!
Me and my daughter loved Madingley Hall, and the beautiful grounds. We knew about the location before we booked, so we knew it is a 15 minute taxi-ride to the centre
Room clean, but a bit "monastic"...wasn't expecting more. Somewhat of a "maze" of corridors. Grounds and building beautiful. Ample parking. Didn't have breakfast.

Really enjoyed hanging out during my time and the full English breakfast was delicious, hot and perfect after all the pints!
The host were friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet room, and good breakfast. The free car park was nice to have. The building and facilities, although a bit dated, were good overall.
Great place in great location, just couple minutes walk from train station. Sunday Roast was amazing, one of the best we ever had. We will be back soon!
A really lovely place We stayed for a night and had a lovely time. The people who worked there were so lovely and accomodating
The most intimate hotel I stayed in in Cambridge, comfortable and warm, with very convenient transportation, next to a food supermarket and Costa, and very close to the train station and bus station.
The guest room is located on the second floor of the bar. The decoration facilities are good and the cleaning is very clean. The accommodation experience is good. Although it is a bar, it is not very noisy at night
