Nice and polite staff. Close to train station and small walk to centre. Decent breakfast and other food options in kantine. Rooms are big, beds were great. Locker is very big (bring your own lock). Only thing that I would prefer is a big washroom to get ready in the morning. Single shower was little small. Know one had to get ready whilst everyone else was asleep, since the sink was in the room (blow drying hair, brushing teeth). But I guess this also has benefits and I personally wasnt really bothered by this with my earplugs

Location of hostel is just 10 minutes walk from bus stop and few mins more for punting and university. YHA Cambridge has maintained their rooms cleaned and in excellent condition. Staff was good. Bathrooms were cleaned but one I took shower was having some lighting problems. Hence 4 star. Overall my experience was great.

Everything was nice and clean, and there was nothing to complain about. The best part is that it’s only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Great location!

The check-in process was smooth, and the room was neat and clean. The hostel was quite spacious with plenty of room available to relax, and the kitchen was clean, and the washrooms were well-maintained. Overall, I loved the experience and will definitely come back again.

Basically hostel. 5 minutes walking to train station. Central location.
There is no shower gel in shared bathroom, although room is equipped with gel dispenser

Amazing stay, at an amazing place! Everything located at a walking distance a cafés, food joints, pubs, etc. The hotel staff was amazing and welcoming! Took care of checking in a jiffy. While I didn’t opt for the breakfast, the spread was good enough to start your day.

The sleep was comfortable, neat and clean sheets, sink to wash your face and brush your teeth. What more can you ask for! Thank you for the lovely say.

Two bunk beds, with a private bathroom and shower. The room was clean and, although compact, offered incredible value for money. It was perfect for our family of four. It happened to be my birthday on the day we checked in, and I cooked some food in the shared kitchen and enjoyed some local beer. It was a really warm and cozy experience.

It’s so nice to choose here!!! Loving it so much, and it’s very convenient near to the city just a 10minutes walk to the train station! And a 8 minutes walk to the grocery shops! The people there were very friendly!

Authentic feeling place with excellent, fresh pizza and good beers. Hard to get a table at times and there isn't much standing space for those who aren't lucky enough to get a seat.

Nice warm atmosphere, good beer amazing pizza and if you get a chance to play it they have a game called hook that's well worth trying to play it's not as easy as it sounds but you can waste ages trying to master it. It's a brass ring tied to the ceiling and all you have to do is swing it and get it on the hook. Simple right? Good luck.

Friendly pub. Nice food. Portions aren't massive. Daily promotion on meals often make for a good option.

Super place, good food amen beer. Staff very friendly and efficient. Has books and board games to borrow. The Saturday I was there some people and families had brought their own games and we playing in groups of 5 or so.

This pub has changed a bit over the last few years. The latest transformation is a reasonably successful move to be a trendy drinking venue targeting a younger crowd. The draft beer & larger selection is Ok but nothing worth shouting about. Long slim bar area creates 3 different spaces, each with its own personality. Not sure if it all quite works but there is nothing really to complain about either, it's a fairly typical example of the current trend in themed pubs.

It was not a bad. It was good for an experience. But it didn't blow my mind. The food was alright but atmosphere wise the lighting was a bit poor and it's a bit cramped

This was the first Indian restaurant I went to in Cambridge back in 1978. Unfortunately last time I went it had lost its liqueur license but the food was still good.

After struggling to find the right place that does byob for an evening meal and happy to say we decided on Curry Queen. A small interior, definitely no magicians hat, was a little cramped maybe at times but I felt that that just added to the good humoured camaraderie of the evening. We were a group of 10 boisterous lads on a cricket tour, yet the staff were very understanding. With off-licences close by i'd definitely recommend it over the king, and it's only a short walk back into town. Good food, good service, I can't complain. However, I would head to the toilet with caution.
