The location is inside A14 service station, and there are many shops as M&S, Costa, Mcdonald's, and so on. An tesco extra is also closer to this hotel. It was good that the parking fee is free here. My room is behind the reception and it was a little noisy. You should ravoid choosing the room, if possible.

Pros: Many restaurants next to hotel, spacious room, water is hot and strong enough for a soothing shower (you can even sit down during shower), basic amenities are all provided, friendly staff Cons: Tissue and toilet paper are not refilled before check-in, bed sheets are a bit dusty, controller of heater is broken

I stayed here on my own for 2 nights in December and is thought it was lovely. Victorian building, with plenty of charm, features and creaks, letting you know how old and well maintained it is. The hotel is neat and clean, and so is the room. The receptionist was also able to help me change my rooms so I could have both rooms near each other. The only downside, perhaps, was the inability to serve an omelette, as I paid for an oriental breakfast, so I was a bit expecting that for my son. The traditional British-style exterior is very charming, with well-tended seasonal flowers beautifully adorning the entrance. The rooms are not spacious, but they are compact, cozy, and fully functional. Despite its excellent access to the center of Cambridge, it offers accommodation at a very reasonable price, making it a truly valuable find.

First of all, I'd like to thank them for their hospitality. They were friendly and courteous throughout my week-long stay. My room was clean, and they were helpful when I needed anything. I thought the hotel's location was excellent; I had easy access to everything. If I ever go back to Cambridge, it will definitely be my preferred accommodation. We were only here 1 night and although the bedroom and the shower room were very small they were clean and well equipped and absolutely fine. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful too. I'd be happy to book this hotel again.

We vistited this hotel the last month . The staff were great and good car park , quick check in , also the rooms were clean and comfort bed. it has a fantastic location for the people that visit to Cambridge for work. Will recommended this hotel for short stay travel .

I'm very glad I didn't take much notice of the bad reviews and booked. Stayed here a few times with my family and will continue to do so whenever I visit Cambridge. You get what you pay for. Rooms are not up to Hilton standards, but are clean and comfortable and the staff are excellent! Will go out of their way to help. Did not use parking. Only issue it said bed & breakfast. There was not any breakfast

The location was good but the property is decrepit and not well maintained. Our toilet leaked, I informed the caretaker and it was not resolved. There is a pervasive rotting vegetable smell in the hotel. For the money, it is not a good option.

Clean and Easy Stayed for 3 nights over May Day weekend. Host was responsive and friendly, room was large and comfortable with a good en-suite with hot shower, as well as tea making facilities. Very enjoyable stay.

This was basic accommodations with friendly service. The property is dated rough around the edges, but was very competitively priced. It was a pleasant walk to downtown. We would probably stay again but can’t give it high marks aside from value and location.

A little gem hidden in Oxford! Extremely good value. Clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet room with very good internet connection. Bus stop to the centre 2 minutes away from the house or 20 minutes walk to the centre. Highly recommended.

Really nice guest house. My room was spacious, clean with modern furniture and a really comfy bed with good pillows as well. I liked the mini fridge in the room as well as an iron and ironing board. Great peaceful location close to the city centre, bus stop 10mins away along with numerous cafes & pubs. Room was lovely, very comfortable, warm & quiet. Added bonus of free parking on site & free wifi

Spent a night here prior to my daughter's graduation. Single room was small but comfortable and very well equipped with mini-fridge, kettle, iron, even a fan which unfortunately I did not find until the next morning! Generally very clean but could use a bit of hoovering under the bed. The only thing I didn't come across which I could have used would be something to chain my bicycle to outside.
