Chester House Guest House in Chester

Lovely break in chester, Stayed at the chester house guesthouse, this will be the fourth time we have stayed. lovely room very comfy and the staff are lovely, good selection for breakfast, with in walking distance for chester city centre, ideal location for a visit to the zoo.

Wonderful hotel. Delightful host,friendly accomodating staff.We had a ground floor apartment with parking directly outside.Very convenient.Lovely quiet modern hotel with every amenity and top it all a 10 minute stroll into the city. Highly recommended

We recently stayed at The Chester House Guest House, it was perfect! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was good with a large walk in shower. The bed was good, nice to lay on to watch the large flat screen TV on the wall. Little things like complimentary shampoo, shower gel and conditioner made the room just right, not to mention the tea, coffe and milk next to the kettle. The breakfast room was spotlessly clean, and the Full English beakfast (buffet style) was perfect, with eggs cooked to your preference. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our whole experience was faultless. A really good thing was the free parking. We arrived early (11:00 am), after speaking to Ray, we left our car in the car park, and walked into Chester. It's an easy flat, straight walk of 1.2 miles which took about 10 minutes. On check out day we did the same. Car parking fees are expensive in Chester, so being able to leave the car free and safe was a real bonus. We don't normally leave reviews, but our stay was so nice, we felt we had to. Thanks to Ray and the team, we had a really nice experience in Chester.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Everything felt well looked after and comfortable. Breakfast was to a high standard, fresh, tasty, with everything available. The hotel management were also really helpful and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a simple but very enjoyable stay, and I’d happily come back again.

Absolutely superb. Everything was excellent. We stayed in a courtyard room which was so lovely. Very clean and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. Staff very welcoming. Will be booking again for another visit in a few months time

I would highly recommend. A beautiful guest house with sumptuous rooms, well equipped with thoughtful little extras such as toiletries and little snacks. It’s a 15 minute easy walk into the centre of Chester but also has restaurants and bars locally. Parking is on site and very easy Staff are helpful and very friendly. Full cooked breakfast was lovely. Will definitely revisit. Thanks

A really superb hotel. We found the bedroom and the public rooms absolutely great with quirky decor throughout. The staff were both efficient and friendly. Special mention to the receptionist who kept us supplied with drinks service. We certainly kept her busy. The hotel is situated close to the village centre with numerous restaurants and individual shops and Chester Town centre is a short walk away. We will definitely return in the not too distant future.

Our room was well equipped, warm and comfortable. The complementary snacks and a good quality TV were appreciated too. The only downside to the room was it was rather dark and the only light came from a glass panel in the door and a small skylight. All staff were courteous and looked after us well including at breakfast. For breakfast there were a wide range of cooked breakfast options however the availability of food was a little disorganised and there was a lot of waiting around for food to be topped up. The guest house was only a 15/20 minute walk from the centre of Chester and local restaurants. Overall we felt we had good value for our money.
