Service at the hotel was excellent, staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a snack (Fried chicken wing starter) which was also very good. I didnt use the spa so cannot comment. The location was excellent 9 min walk from the train station. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Chester.

A nice stay at The Mill, food and service were great, the bar had a nice vibe…setting was relaxing, nice to see the ducks on the water…excellent location for walking into Chester. Room was very comfortable, staff were helpful and welcoming. Top marks go to Sam, absolutely first class, every guest was met with a smile and cheery attitude, nothing too much trouble, thank you Sam, you really are a breath of fresh air!
Car park charge was not advertised previously so £12 a day was a surprise.

A nice clean hotel, close to Chester City Centre. Limited parking facilities, with very friendly helpful staff. I will stay there again and I recommend this hotel.

Smashing hotel in smashing location with ample parking, staff friendly and helpful,bar staff on the ball, small issue but previous guests bikini top found down side of cabinet in room which was easily spotted, only other complaint is our stay was not long enough, will definitely book further stays at the Mill Hotel and Spa.

I recently stayed at the Steam Mill Hotel in Chester and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s industrial-chic design and prime location near the city center made exploring Chester easy and enjoyable. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend Steam Mill Hotel for anyone visiting Chester—great service, stylish atmosphere, and excellent value for money.

Stopped over for one night… service on reception was friendly and quick, room was cleaned to a high standard and was furnished very nicely, service at the bar was lovely, breakfast absolutely delicious… second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely be back again !

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the swimming pool and the sauna, service is always great. The only thing that lets it down is the rooms are slightly dated and could do with a revamp.

Hotel is in perfect location to the city shops. Parking is good. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfy. Sadly the breakfast let the hotel down big time. Cold food, cheap sausages, undercooked bacon, cold toast. Not a pleasant experience. Next time we won't eat.

As ever great kebab from caspo. Been going over 20 years. You don't last that long if u r not good. As always meat really fresh and tasty and plenty of fresh salad. Far and away best kebab house in chester. Remember to tell them to go easy on chilli sauce or u can get a really hot one

The worse food ive ever tasted!! Ordered a mixed kebab n cheesy chips and the best thing about it was the cheese! The kebab meat tasted dirty n cheep and the chicken shish was like cardboard, chips were fries and like tooth picks. Avoid this place like the Plague and spend your well earned money elsewhere. I certainly Won't be ordering from here again.

This place, which used to be Chester's finest, has taken a real nose-dive. Won't be going back, as the quality no longer matches the higher than average prices. Better to be found in Hoole now.

This is the worst domino's you will ever eat. They always get the order completely wrong and when you ring and complain the '' manager" who can't understand a word you say shouts and tell you they are busy and it's not there fault. This is the second time in 2 weeks I have paid over £32.00 for two large custom pizzas which are half missing there toppings and look like they have been half eaten. They are incapable of processing a correct order and there social skills are the same as a 2 year old child. Avoid avoid avoid.

Ordered a pizza, it took 55 minutes to arrive. Once it did turn up it was the wrong size, we tried repeatedly to phone them for 25 minutes and they did not pick up the phone. Don't waste your time or money. Much better pizza takeaways in chester.
