Amazing hotel. Staff very friendly. Very clean rooms
The breakfast next door in Alberts is great, you get a 20% voucher. Rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly. Would stay here again.
Despite the room being dated, the property is gorgeous. Rooms are large; my room included a fan, electric heater and breakfast to go. They have a gluten free breakfast option, which was perfect. We were even able to get it for a 4am checkout.
Staff very pleasant, location ideal, feee parking, rooms very clean, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in rooms
The room was functional, although little tired looking. The 3 stars is about right. The traffic noise was a problem when trying to sleep as it next to a main road. Th staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to bus routes into Manchester which was vey useful.
Ok…. Nice staff. But dated. Uncomfortable bed and pillow. Very poor breakfast selection. Worth £60 a night. Not £100. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great hospitality and rooms, very helpful staff also.
Great location as right in the center and great value for money compared to the main chain hotels. Would certainly recommend it if your on a budget. The bar area is excellent with great staff and they serve food most days plus breakfast on Saturday/Sundays from 9am which is excellent. The bar area has multiple tv screens for sports fans plus pool table and lovely private beer garden. Highly recommended...
Great classic pub. The bar staff were friendly and helpful with beer and food suggestions. Fish and chips did not disappoint. Plenty of seating options. Nice clientele. Walking distance to a number of shops and other restaurants in the area. I’d definitely return
This pub and the B&B has recently been refurbished. It's considered a budget city centre accommodation. It's much better than budget in my opinion! The pub is lovely and the food is amazing! All homemade! The staff are friendly and the welcoming. Will defo go back.
Lovely friendly pub staff were really helpful and friendly, we ordered the Sunday dinner and the cheese and onion pie , came out hot, and tasted delicious 😋 we will definitely be coming back , the pub is dog friendly so when I come back I will be bringing my fur baby with me definitely 5 stars .
Really nice place with friendly staff. Enjoyed my short stay and drinks.

Great place to stay if you're in town for a night out, not so good if you hope for an early night!
Rooms are small but very clean, bed is confortable, limited storage but not a problem for a couple days, and it's cheap for the centre of Manchester.
Adele, who manages the hotel side, is brilliant and very helpful.
Location is amazing. Couldn’t ask for somewhere better.
When you arrive it’s a bit unclear on where you go. Do you wait at the bar or is there a reception?
The room itself was nice and clean. The room is basic, perfect for somewhere to lay your head for the night. Unfortunately even with the heating turned off the room was way too hot! The quilt was way too thick. Went to make a cup of tea but no...
I absolutely love the place. It was a clean, comfy place to sleep over. Even the music from club didn't bother me much. Beside of few things missing in room over I was amazed by the state of this hotel.
Great club and place to stay in the heart of Village. Both hotel and bar staff are super friendly and helpful. Will he coming again in the future
Great stay here last weekend, I can't understand people who mention noise this is on canal street and there's obviously going to be some however I was in bed by 1am and slept through so It wasn't an issue at all to me! Great hospitality and Great location many thanks
I have had so many different experiences down the years visiting The New Union it was so refreshing to see during Sparkle weekend how nicer the staff are on site compared with previous years ,One staff member in particular was extremely friendly and made me feel so welcome ,everything about the place just feels good ,this staff member I forget her name but she said I would be back later and true to...

Staff was extremely welcoming, the room was nice and clean.
Room was spacious & very clean. Was able to check in at 12.30, I presume it was the lady who runs the hotel who took us up to our room. She even went out of her way to drop us off at the station to catch the tram into the city centre. Will definitely use this hotel again when in Manchester.
Quiet stay and easy access from the city.
Great place for Heaton Park
Great place to stay for Heaton Park gigs. Came for Oasis and the staff were very friendly even though they were busy. Food is decent. Rooms are lovely. Would stay here again
Great budget stay!
Great budget stay! Had the best sleep in a while in the bed as it was so comfy! Shower was brilliant too, a little dated but powerful and clean and that’s all that counts! Only issue was when checking in I told them I’d like to check in and the guy checking me in said nothing then he said you can go now and gave me no information at all until another lady escorted us to our room...
Very comfortable , very dog friendly , good food .
Would return if this way again .
Ease of parking , bus stop outside giving low cost travel in all directions .
Character building and of interest .
Could not recommend this hotel enough. Great staff with excellent customer service skills. Room was clean and modern. Excellent location for the 02 Apollo, picadilly station and some great places for drinks prior to and after the concert we attended.
The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the train station. We checked out and left our luggage at the hotel, then picked it up later before heading back to the train station. It was so handy!
Had a great stay, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent and very convenient, as the hotel is just across the road from Manchester Piccadilly train station. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful, and even gave us recommendations on the Christmas markets that were ongoing in the city!

I was allowed a slightly earlier and quick check-in which helped with the enjoyment of my stay. Lovely clean simple rooms in a great location. Nice to have a good bar/restaurant too.
Good location and staff super friendly.
Will return on mt next visit to Manchester
We had a fabulous stay, perfect central location for shops and Christmas markets. Staff were friendly not only at the reception but at the bar area too and when leaving the cleaning staff were super friendly also.
We were able to leave the bags for a few hours while we went shopping. We didn’t have food so can’t comment on that but there was tea and coffee available in the room.
It would have been...
Nice Location and great price. You have to pay for drinking water if you need it in your room
Nice minimal hotel room in the city centre. Friendly staff, great location
Good location, but incredibly noisy hotel. Breakfast was super basic. Wouldn't go back.

Spotless room. Everything you need. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious
Lovely room and staff. Only issue was we’d booked a table and the table hadn’t been booked so we ended up in a fast food place as it was just before Christmas.
Staff were amazing and the room was outstanding
Thank you for making our stay much more enjoyable
Lovely place to stay.Room very clean.Staff helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend this liveky hitel
The rooms were both very clean and spacious. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, the bar is great loads of space and great atmosphere. Great choice of breakfast
Lovely staff, clean room, great entertainment in the bar - acoustic singer was superb. Tasty breakfast. Would recommend.

Outside the city center, but the room and bathroom were spacious. Easy location. It's in a suburban area.
My room was very dirty even everywhere on my bed had hairs and in the shower cabin too. My pillows cases was dirty too is was look like doesn’t been changed at all.
I will not be back there
Thanks to Manager Mani
Our stay at the hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully presented, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure every need was met. From check-in to check-out, everything was...
This hotel is top notch. Very accommodating, very nice staying. Good staff. And most importantly the hotel Manager, Mani is a very humble man, hospitable and hard working guy.
Does the job, bit wouldn’t recommend staying longer than one night. Check hand soap and shower gel is in place, before using your bathroom. My room didn’t have any. To be fair to the staff member on reception, he swapped me to a different room real quick after I flagged this, which was nice and good service from him.
People coming from China and other countries who have charging adopters like mine will suffer, buy yours in advance!
very clean room. perfect size for couples. exactly what you’d expect for the price
A very good hotel for the money. It is central so there was some road noise, to be expected. No noise at night from the hotel. Very spacious.
Fabulous hotel - room was huge! Modern decor and bathrooms - comfy bed and pillows. Staff were really friendly and good facilities. Pleasantly surprised for price I paid too and would definitely book again for Manchester gigs. Was 15 min walk from victoria and 10 mins to Arndale to shop.
Hotel is OK not to bad breakfast passible not the best location to far away from from main bars and restaurants need to drive or take taxi tram stops miles away
A ‘little tired’ covers the bedroom itself, the service and shared amenities. Having said that I would heartily recommend, especially if you need somewhere reasonably central (walking distance to two train stations and Deansgate). The bedroom was huge and the en-suite had a bath.
Little things like only decaf given as coffee option (in the bedroom), as well as the foyer coffee machine being out of...
