Green Gables Guest House in Oxford

Martin was a lovely gentleman and was extremely helpful on our late arrival via text and showing us around the property. I would go back but there definitely could be some improvements:
- the room had ample space and slept 6 plus our dog ,had nice views of the garden and had usual amenities however was lacking in dusting, hoovering and the towels and bedding could have used sprucing up.
-the house has parking to the front but when we arrived in the evening it was full so we had to bump up the kurb outside
- The dog friendly side was lacking there was no real information for pets , whether you could take them outside in the garden during the night etc , toilet bins and little bits
- the cupboards in our room seemed to be being used for storage of all sorts of things aswell as the one opposite our bathroom that was left open and things piling through the corridor
-we had our own private bathroom the drains and things were lovely and clean

Overall I wouldn't not stay again but there is definitely some improvements to be made paying £83 for the night I felt was a bit much for the return however can't fault the service and the location which is fabulously close to pubs , restaurants and shops

Clean room. Be careful of check in times, as there is no front desk staff, and the fine print specifies a fairly early arrival time ot you could be out of luck. It's all in the fine print. This is a family-run inn.
