Lovely room, helpful & charming staff, and very accessible to the city center! We honestly wish we could have stayed here longer!

Only stayed for one night but the room had a very chill and modern vibe. There is a bus stop outside that takes you closer into the city as parking inside the city centre is quite expensive. Great for couples.

Very good stay
Disappointed that we were downgraded to a 'cozy' room which is code for tiny, but it was a nice room, staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great for the rugby as well as the location. All in all a lovely stay and we will be back

Decent rooms. Mostly clean and comfortable. Location is a bit far from Edinburgh but bus stop is across the street. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Can't comment on its regular performance but service and quality at Lunch for Rugby fans on Saturday was dreadful. Taking advantage of the location to fleece people without any pretence of delivering value for money.

The attitude of the bar staff after the match was that of people who who did not want to be there. There was so much wrong I would give negative stars if I could.

The Bothy offers a great range of Whiskies. A great pint of Heverlee (Belgian Lager) plus other draught beers, sensibly priced. Music Friday & Saturday nights. Quiz on Tuesday night.
