Great location right in the city centre, making it easy to get around Edinburgh. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good and convenient. Overall, a solid stay and good value for money.

Clean & spacious room. Good breakfast. Located in the city center. Easy access to public transport. I took a tram from the airport & just got off in front of the hotel. It was very convenient for you. Tesco Express is just a few steps away. I highly recommend staying.

Excellent location! The room was clean in general with sufficient amenities. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel is pretty good, and its location is super convenient for getting around. It's right next to Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat, and Waverley Station is only a 10-minute walk away. We also noticed a lot of international guests staying there.

The hotel is ideally located very close to the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. It's also not far from attractions, with Calton Hill just nearby. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and attentive. Our room was spotless and well-appointed, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The location of this hotel is good, close to the sight seeing points at the city center, and near to stops of buses and trams. Good to go to the nearby Calton Hill to have a panoramic view of the city. However, there are steps at the entrance of the hotel, and few steps on every level even after taking a lift, so, be careful when you have heavy / large lugguages.

My room, 114, was the first one right past the fire exit door. Every time someone closed the fire exit, it slammed shut with a loud 'bang.' To make matters worse, the room faced the street, with constant noise from trams, cars, and people's voices outside the window. It made me realize Edinburgh isn't as quiet at night as one might expect, especially since it's directly opposite the Edinburgh Playhouse. It truly felt like the noisiest room in the entire building. We were just stopping over for one night, so we tolerated it.

However, I booked and paid for a twin room on Ctrip, but was given a double room instead. They then claimed I had booked a 'standard room' and that they had no twin rooms available. Whether they had twin rooms or not is one thing, but the real issue is why they didn't receive my correct booking information. On the plus side, the room wasn't particularly small.

For luggage storage, guests had to push their own bags into the designated storage room. The breakfast also didn't include any fruit. This truly felt like a 3-star hotel offering nothing more than 3-star service. Abroad, a one-star difference in rating truly means a significant drop in quality, no exaggeration. In China, you might find 4-star hotels that feel like 5-star ones, but that's absolutely not the case overseas.

Centralize location, friendly & helpful hotel staff!

It was decent, but the hotel was quite expensive – almost as much as places we stayed at in Southern France. They also didn't provide disposable slippers, and it was undergoing renovation, which made the experience less than ideal.

Perfect place for delicious authentic Italian food, they welcomed us and our 3 kids- making the whole meal a fantastic experience. Amazing service. Highly recommend.

This is the place! Been coming to Edinburgh for many years now and this restaurant is one of the best. Cosy, fresh food, homemade dough and sauce. Just excellent if u r looking for real authentic Italian food.

Looking for some straight forward Italian food, we came across the restaurant amongst others but we liked the look of the small bistro next to the main restaurant. The food is lovely and comes the ample proportions that you would expect from genuine Italian cooking but I would say that the outstanding thing is the service and the warmth of the staff. Authentic food in an authentic Italian setting. Great value too.

A most enjoyable evening one could not fault the food and service I highly recommend this wonderful Italian restaurant.

Avoid at all cost, the food was like from yesterday and microwaved, waitress was quite rude and disrespectful, she could hardly hear or understand what I ordered and yelled at me. My wife ordered an ABC salad and it turned out to be a disaster.

Seated for 4 people on a friday night, took too long to deliver our drinks, when the food finally arrived after 30 mins of waiting one got the wrong order, had to wait nearly 30-45 more mins for correct food. I had a classic cheeseburger and i was given the wrong order (it had bacon) seeing as i already touched it so i kept it but pulled the bacon off, it was nice until the 4th bite where it tasted sour for some reason. However desert was good, although you can not go wrongwith chocolate cake and ice cream, just wish there would have been more ice cream. While waiting for the check the machine went wrong and the person using it had to get help apparently it wasn't the first time it happened. For the establishment the music was too loud to have a conversation without shouting leading to a very sore throat. The waiter and waitress may have become deaf or hard of hearing due to the volume of the music

By far the worst experience I have ever had in Frankie and Benny's. We regularly go to one at Fort Kinnard which is always lovely. The omni one spoilt what was ment to be a childs birthday meal. Food cold. Service by far the worst I have ever experienced. Loads of server but extremely slow service. One course meal took 1hr 45m. Due to the long wait to play order then wait to be given food which had sat 10 mins under hotplate. Then trying to get the bill.
Never again.

I don't normally write reataueant reviews, but this restaurant at edinburgh omni centre is terrible, worst staffs, disrespectful, waited 45 minutes for food, and the BBQ chicken was still frozen inside, chicken breast was as tough as a rock, the steak was tasteless, the ribs just taste like meat with no marinate. If you want some real Italian food and some respect, don't ever ever come to this restaurant, and I mean it

This place has a really nice vibe, inside is dark and rough but decorated well. The staff were super friendly and we got 2 mains courses for £12 which was a great deal as the food was delicious. This is a great spot for lunch or a dinner date.

Love it here- great for a meal or a few drinks! Wide selection of beers and cocktails. Cosy atmosphere. Small outdoor area for smokers! The guacamole is delishious!

Booked in for a show at the Playhouse and looked around for decent eateries close by. We both like Mexican so gave this place a try.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Ordered a few plates along with their signature guacamole which they make in from of you at the table.

Mrs is veggie and had the veg fajitas which she loved.

I had ordered the duck taquitas and fish tacos and both were amazing.

We had got the traditional Mexican cake for dessert which was also fantastic.

Food was fresh and tasty, spicy without blowing your head off.

Drinks were also great and cocktails fresh and imaginative.

Stand out cocktail for me was the kiwi and jalapeno which sounds a strange mix but was absolutely fantastic.

Highly recommended place

The quesadillas did not seem to have any queso. The food is interesting I suppose ingredients wise, but could be better and take the same amount of time to come out.

Pretty much unchanged over the years, small and lively basement bar. Good place to kick the night off and sample tequila! Grest fish tacos!
