Stayed here last week for the first time. Plenty of parking and quick check in. Room was clean and tidy if not a little dated. Quite a bit of noise during the night due to the nearby train track. Decent restaurant next door. An average stay.

Be mindful this is extremely close to a train line if you struggle to sleep ask if you can have a room which doesn't back onto the line. Curtains in the room didn't fit properly & room did smell fousty. Feel it needs a bit of an upgrade. Parking great, obvs. Close to train station which is handy for Edinburgh I would recommend downloading the TrainPal app to obtain your tickets, there's 1 platform & it will advise you times of trains for your return as not all trains stop here from Edinburgh. The restaurant attached offers a variety of food & nice. Staff at the hotel were lovely.

What a great experience. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and can honestly say I never bother to review but the staff here were so great I had to! When I checked in I was advised to book breakfast and asked if I had allergies - I misinterpreted this as dietary requirements and advised I was vegetarian. The lady on the desk told me to let the host know as soon as I went into breakfast as it takes about 10 mins to cook the vegetarian sausages. When I went down the next morning, I checked in and the lovely host let me know the cook had them ready for me and asked if I also wanted bacon (always a yes) - this was such an appreciated touch - I've never had such a slick breakfast experience and I love the set up here - it looks like there is so much less food waste than other hotels I've been in. So thank you to the lovely cook, host and reception ladies - it made my day!

Cannot fault anything on our stay in Premier Inn. Rooms are spotless and very spacious. All staff are very pleasant and helpful. Lisa in Breakfast Area goes above and beyond to assist you in whatever you want. Best Breakfast we've ever had while on an overnight stay. Thank you All.

Family overnight in hotel whilst visiting edinburgh. We arrrived late, it was minus 1 and the room window was open all day. Then the heating didnt work, although was resolved eventually. Went to bed and there was no hot water. Every floor board in the place squeaked too so dont plan on much peace. Right next to railway line but that was our fault for not noticing. To be fair, room was good size, and clean.

Good calm place. Very very friendly and helpful staff Location is next to fort kinnaird which is an open shopping area. Buss stop to the city is 100 m from the hotel.

The location is amazing, a couple of minutes walk to the train station which then is only a 15 minute ride into Edinburgh itself. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and lovely. The room was very clean, they even offer a daily cleaning service! The atmosphere was nice, good WiFi, and very good breakfast options.

Premier Inn Newcraighall is a great place to stay if you are visiting Edinburgh. It may seem far from the city centre, but the Newcraighall train station across the street will get you downtown in 15 minutes for about $7 USD round trip. Shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants are close by, and the Cuddie Brae is connected to the hotel. The hotel staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I've been here a few times in the last three weeks due to work and every time they have been spot on!

Service is fast, kind and always with a smile.

The food is delicious. I was lucky enough to be able to try an assortment off the menu during my visits and each dish was cooked to perfection.

10/10 would definitely eat here again!

It's OK at best. The place is tidy and prices reasonable but the food is so so. Our breakfast arrived cold after waiting 30 mins. The staff member you get can be good or bad

22.10.2017 Bill

Came here straight after a long drive for our Mini Moon and all need of some good food and a drink but we left with more then that.

James who was the waiter for us was fantastic and left us leaving in stitches.

Food was also amazing and can't help but want to come back!

Good value for money.
We'll definitely be coming back for more!
