For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations. I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for.
Double room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet.
Location is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in.
Absolutely fantastic, and £38/night. Great weekend, thank you all.

Stayed overnight budget friendly. Clean place simple and staffs are good

Location good, separate parking good, staff lovely, bed very comfy, bathroom very tired and slightly smelly, breakfast ok for pre paid price £6 but wouldn't pay the price of £8+ by just turning up for it. Just as a bedroom fine as a base for any longer probably not. However we would stay for just 1 night stays again.

The room was good but bathroom area was a bit small and with no latches so please if you are travelling with friends be careful 😂

Simple and clean. One of the lifts were broken so everyone had to jam into one lift (including cleaning staff). The reception insisted to charge me even after prepaying online, which was a hassle.

After having to book this hotel becouse the hotel I booked originally had double booked my room and was given the choice of the ibis as I was there in December and enjoyed our stay and the price was right for one night the room was clean with big bathroom and 2 beds we were please with it .but yesterday was a it disappointed the room was small with very small toilet double bed that didn't matter becouse i was with my daughter but the sheets on the bed was thread bear .and the price I paid was double the price for what I paid in December for 1 night.

A comfortable 3 nights stay. Room is small as expected from a budget hotel. Separate shower and toilet nice. Walkable to the train station and city centre. Two mini supermarkets across the road. Meals and drinks sold downstairs but we didn't have any. Breakfast options too.

The place was clean and tidy. Rooms were just what we needed. Fresh towels and bedding. Toilet a bit clostraphobic, but can't moan for the price.
Some of the staff on reception were a bit rude and abrupt though. Not our fault the key cards were faulty and had to have them reset 7x, a few others had problems too but felt it was our fault. House keeping staff were all lovely and friendly though.
Other than that, food was nice, and in a lovely location not far from the town centre .
