Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
This place is terrible. I should have know from the lack of costumers that the food would be bad. But I decided to try it anyway. I figured that they had a teppanyaki grill so the food would be fresh. Boy was I wrong! I ordered the teppanyaki combo which came with beef and chicken. Right after I finished paying, the chicken and beef was tossed on the grill. It was pre-cooked! Next came the rice. And it was pre-cooked too. And I'm not talking about steamed rice going on to the grill to made into fried rice. They literally put already cooked fried rice on the grill to heat it up. The only thing that wasn't pre-cooked were the veggies and they barely saw any grill time. So when I got my food I ended up with a nasty mess of who-knows-how old chicken and beef on top of who-knows-how old rice and under-cooked veggies. I literally took 3 bites of my food before I tossed it in the trash. The chicken tasted like leftover chicken that had been re-heated in the microwave, the beef tasted rancid, and the rice was ruined because the idiots put all the sloppy, gross meat on top of it. I didn't even bother with the veggies.
My advise, and this goes for all the places in the 5th Ave. Mall food court, is to eat before you go to the mall. Your taste buds and stomach will thank you.
