Husband and I decided to visit San Diego last minute and after researching the downtown area decided the location of ES fit us perfectly. Short walk from the 992 bus stop to and from the airport. We booked through Expedia and selected a King Corner Suite. We had a wonderful view of the Harbor and will miss waking up to that in the am. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the nightly reception, bartenders were so friendly. Breakfast ran like a well oiled machine and food selection was wonderful. This ES was the best one we have stayed at in a very long time. The location is a perfect for Seaport Village, walking to the Gaslamp District, Midway, and we even walked to Little Italy. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent experience at breakfast with Donna serving us. Iniego also helped me with coffee one day and refilled the milk another day, even though it was just at closing time. Very kind and helpful. Felipe was also a very kind cook. Sabrina was a very pleasant and a bright spot every morning during our stay. Wonderful person! Excellent service!

We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown! The location is perfect and makes everything easy and convenient.
The service was excellent, and Sabrina was especially helpful and kind. She truly made our stay even better.

CHECK YOUR FINAL RECEIPT- THE ONE THEY EMAIL YOU THE NEXT DAY
We were charged for a restaurant fee after we had checked out and were actually back home. I get it, computers aren't perfect. The next guests checking in arrived early, went to the restaurant to wait and charged their bill to the room number. Even though we had received our *final* bill upon checking out, I was emailed another one the next day. I was already annoyed at the costs for everything, so I checked it. Called the hotel to clear it up, was sent over to leave a message for the restaurant manager who never called me back. Next day I call again, unwilling to not be helped, but still being kind. Ended up talking to 2 people, both of which were very helpful, figured out the problem and apologized. Then was told 5-10 days for a refund. Day nine, it finally came through.
The view from our room on the 10th floor was absolutely stunning and we even had a seagull visit both mornings. However, paying a total of $840 for a $250/night room for 2 nights was not commensurate to our stay. I definitely won't be staying here again. The rest of the family stayed in gorgeous large rooms at the Manchester Grand Hyatt for basically the same price (although it did not include breakfast) and they were able to self park for $35.

We had a fabulous stay here at Embassy Suites. Our family with young kids loved the hotel layout with the glass elevators. Our suite was spacious enough and the sofa bed was actually comfortable. The breakfast had both buffet and made to order foods, which was much better than other hotels who have complimentary breakfast. It was right across the street from Seaport Village where we found a great seafood restaurant. The pool is indoors which is perfect for winter months. Just Fyi valet parking is $70 and resort fee is $25 (which is a hotel credit towards food and beverages), but still worth staying here.

The house is priced at over 4,000 yuan, but it is actually one bedroom. It is simply a scam. The noise in the room is very loud, like living in a factory. It is totally uninhabitable. Don't book it.

I asked for two beers that happened to no longer be on the menu yet they where there, then I ordered a Shephard's pie for 16 dollars that was the size of a pop tart. Needless to say I would not recommend going to this establishment for dinner.

I have eaten here about a half dozen times, and it has always been good...until last weekend.
with a party of 9 looking for sushi, 6 of whom were out-of-towners, we headed back to the hotel where the 6 were staying, since we have eaten here before with good results. But this visit would be different.
we were seated quickly, and given water. and after that, we had to ask for water refills, had to let the waiter know that we were ready to order (after having to wave him down), had to convince the waiter that it would be best to put our sushi order on two seperate orders so that we wouldn't have to be reaching across each other to eat, the the waiter wanted us to put it all on one order to be easier for him! when he finally brought drink orders, he got two of the four beers ordered wrong. the two people who didn't order sushi got their dinners, and ate them (one had his lobster tail over-cooked, and his veal chop was tasteless), were all done and ready to leave, before the rest of us got our food, still had to ask for more water, when sushi finally arrived, one of the orders was wrong and the waiter wanted to take both orders back to fix it and didn't seem to understand why we were not going to let him take our food that we had been waiting more than an hour for. (the waiter didn't understand much).
my end of the table finished our sushi before the other side of the table got theirs.
BUT the good news is the manager sincerly appologized, comped the one dinner that wasn't prepared correctly, and gave us 25% off the rest of the bill.
He even addmitted that they were not too busy, and that the waiter has 2 years experience, so there was no reason to have such bad service.
I will not stop going here, but if I have one more bad experience, then that will be it.
