Great stay! The hotel gives you a $25 credit each day of the stay so you can use it at their rooftop bar or lobby bar/restaurant. If you don’t want to pay the $65 valet you can park in the overnight public parking garage across from the westin. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again. 10
Minute walking distance to little Italy and 15 minute walk from Petco Stadium. Great stay if you want to be within walking distance of everything but far enough from the chaos.

This was the best last minute decision I’ve ever made. We drove in for a birthday party and decided to stay the night. The hotel is super clean and tastefully decorated. We had dinner and breakfast in our room and both were delicious.
I checked in at the same time some unhappy campers were checking in. The care and attention Jayse showed was exemplary! He was calm, listened and explained repeatedly but never showed frustration. Y’all have a gem in Jayse!
I will definitely be back. This is our new go to stay in San Diego.

The bed was really comfortable the room was really nice n clean..what i disliked though was the price for parking $65 valet parking..thats insane!!!

When we arrived, despite booking well in advance for a room with double beds the front desk clerk informed us, almost with glee that they overbooked and we would have to take a king with rollaway bed brought in. We finally had a manager help us but it was frustrating. Then, we were told we couldn’t go on any floor but our own so we couldn’t access ice. Lastly, my bed was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep and was stiff and sore the next day. Plus, breakfast took forever to come.

The hotel is very nice, nicer than I usually stay at. The room was clean and modern. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the light up make up mirror in the bathroom. The Topside Terrace is a very cool outdoor bar. Drinks were good and our server even got us a menu from the other restaurant that had items we enjoyed more. I appreciated that.

We truly appreciated the hotel’s aesthetics and the staff’s consideration and hospitality. Carlos at the bar and Jackie and Oscar at the front desk exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.

The lobby is beautiful and clean, but the room has very nad odors, tub drains very slow, and the shower curtain keeps flying up to your body while showering its very annoying

The hotel is quite old. The toilet kept running continuously, and the shower gel dispenser was empty.

One of my favorites. Red trolley rocks every time. Food is good to great depending on what you order. Head down after 5 pm and it gets a bit busy. Seating at the entrance is a bit better than the back near the bathroom and staff tables. Again... red trolley rocks.

Great beer and delicious food! The duck fat pretzel bites were wonderful. Service was also excellent and the outdoor seating was lovely. The bathrooms were blasting cold air, that is my only complaint, but not a deal breaker in the slightest.

This is a brewery, their beer selection is very nice. Great place to bring a group of friends or even romantic enough to take a date. Decor seems a little dated to me. But the food and beer is delicious portions are a little small. Happy hour is nice. Overall you would have a good time by visiting this place

Love this place. Really great beer selection. You can never go wrong with the beer here. The food is really great and filling. Great place to hang with friends!

The sausage is truly spectacular, the garlic bread is spicy/delicious, but the atmosphere tries too hard to be classy.

I went there for a lunch with my client, l had the Little Italy salad, it was the best salad l have ever had. I met the chef, he told me that he made everything from scratch. The service was also great! We had sat outside on the patio, the weather was so nice, we really enjoyed this restourant. I will definitely go back.

I've tried so hard to like this place. It is across the street from my condo and it always smells so good when I walk by so I've ordered a pizza, a sandwich and a plate of pasta. All to go. The pizza was fine and thin crust, which I like, but too many places think thin crust means it has to taste like a cracker. No cracker crust!
The meatball sandwich was toasted. Places toast their bread when the bread isn't good enough on it's own. The pasta was the best, but still didn't knock my socks off.
Wish I could give it a better review, but wish more that the food was better. In an area of town with so many good selections, this one doesn't really compete. Too bad.

We selected Petrini's because it was close to our hotel. We were greeted warmly and received excellent service throughout the evening. We ordered the veal parmigiana. The serving was huge and absolutely delicious. We will definitely return to Petrini's each time we come to San Diego!

How could you not love this place? While busy on weekends (not sure if this trend continues during the week), they are very efficient. There is a line for take out (head to the right) and a check in booth to sit down in the restaurant. Either way, you get a number and get called in when you turn comes. Last time it took them about 10 minutes to get my take out dessert ready (1 piece of heavenly coconut cream cake). For take out you pay upfront and then pick up your treat, for sit down it works just like in an ordinary restaurant.
The selection is displayed on both sides of the counter, drink menu is above the counter. There is no seating for take out, but people still would sit on concrete outside. Great vibe.
It is pricey compared to bakeries, you will pay $9-12 for a slice of cake.

All the sweets here are so intricate and beautiful! One of my favorite dessert places of all time. The interior is modern and sleek. It’s a wonderful place to go on a date or to catch up with friends.

This place is seriously decadent. Everything they make is beautiful, rich, and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything chocolate, including their hot chocolate. I also love their grilled cheese. Slices of cake are big enough to share and come garnished with rose petals and gold leaf. Service is sometimes a little slow and there is often a long wait but I promise it's worth it!

The desserts are a work of art. Some of these cakes could be in a museum. The flavors are not as impressive as the appearances had led me to hope. While delicious, with looks like that I expected the taste to be much more extraordinary. It was a fun experience, but I won't go out of my way to come back. There are comparable options as far as tasty desserts are concerned that you don't have to deal with downtown traffic to get to.

I’ve been here so many times that it has become a tradition. For dinner I love the Italian Tuna sandwich. It has truffle oil and sharp cheddar and crusty bread. It is probably one of my favorite sandwiches ever. I’ve had different desserts every time I’ve been there: lemon meringue pie, espresso brownie, cheesecake, chocolate cake (I know the names are fancier, so forgive my ignorance). By far, my favorite dessert was this (salted?) caramel cheesecake. It was exceptional. This place isn’t cheap, but it also isn’t overly expensive for what you get.
