HOTEL DE ANZA by IHG in San Jose

The grandeur of this age old building will leave you awestruck. So beautiful vintage interiors will give you the feeling as if you have been taken back in time. I had a to-go order on a Friday and the waiter was very friendly and helped me with the menu. But the place was very busy (maybe because of Friday) and if you were to dine in house, I'd guess that you would have to wait for sometime. The food was really good too. I ordered a Meat Lover's Treat, which came with bread and salad, and it was literally a treat.

You won't be disappointed in the food, the service, or the fine ambiance. This is clearly one of the best restaurants in San Jose, and well worth testing my theory. Old Spaghetti Factory is a life experience. Many people make a tradition out of coming here, both local and out of state. If you like Italian and want $30 plate quality for $20, come right here, and get free spumoni for dessert!

We go here once a year to have dinner with friends. We have fun and enjoy the food. The bread is really good. Can be noisy in the restaurant. Last night we had an excellent server. We left her a nice bonus. ? Great service and food and they validate parking here.

It is an older style building possibly historic, the neighborhood is nice it sits on the end of the street. The food is good the wait is a little long but the waiting room is spacious. The price is great for families. It also has a full bar to the left of the entrance.

This place is an absolute family favorite!! Simple, delicious menu with large portions. Quick, efficient, and happy service. True western/saloon-style decor. Come early and you'll be seated quickly. It may take a while to get a table as the evening goes on, but the bar is great, too.

World Famous. I've seen members of the Athletics, Raiders, and 49ers alike come through here on my luncheon visits. Cool little bar and a great Steak and Potatoes place. If you don't try the ribs you are missing out. It is worth every penny to try at least once on every plate they offer.

Henry's is a magical place for me. Living in California you kind of
just settle for mediocre BBQ. I was in San Jose for work and looking for dinner, and my friend up there said he knew a cool spot where we can go grab a drink and some BBQ. I wasn't prepared for what I stepped into!!

Henry's is a semi historic place. It is a picturesque "road side" place located at the end of the world's tiniest Little Italy neighborhood. It is a beautiful building decorated with road signs and neon lights right near a freeway overpass. When you walk in, you enter the bar. Seemingly enough all is kosher. You notice a giant menu on the wall and a number system just like at a butcher. You pull a number and wait for it to be called. Until then, find a chair and grab a drink or two.

Once your number is called, the person calling your name takes your order. You don't get seated yet. You commence your drinking!!

Eventually they call you by name and your table is ready. Once you reach your table you are greeted with your salad and bread. The bread comes with a side a tangy, not so thick, and warm BBQ sauce. It tastes pretty amazing. Your main meal comes not too long after.

Whether you live near by or are a weary traveler, I implore you to give Henry's Hi Life a shot!!

Best bbq i can ever recall having. Love the bar as you wait for your table. every single employee was the best i have seen in quite some time, which made dinning experience even better. Been here all my life and in 50yrs that was my first visit. Definitely not my last!!! Highly recommend, dont wait. ENJOY!!!!

The place has great food and a fun, casual atmosphere, but if you're there for a quick cheap bite on a Friday night, this is not the place to go. They really make the most out of the limited space they have available so when my party of 7 stood and waited about an hour in the crowded waiting room for a table, it was unenjoyable to say the least. However, the great service and delicious food basically made up for it. I would definitely go again on a less crowded night.
