Initial room had no heat and heater was not working. But staff was fast to give us a new room. Second room was pretty run down. Handle on shower control fell off due to lack of set screw. And the whole appearance was not very inviting.

Breakfast was good and the room too. The cleanliness of the room can be improved a little, specially the floor and bathroom. The first floor was very noisy at night.

Room basic with micro, fridge, good shower, Great Breakfast, fabulous location and the neighborhood is really pretty safe with other hotels and apartments around it. Staff very helpful. Pets allowed.

The shower rod is broken and curtain stays open. Toilet roll is broken from the wall. We had no towels in room at all. Does not have a drain plug for a bath.

The first hotel we booked was very dirty, but they did manage to get us a much better room and change our room. I applaud that, but the first room was indeed dirty.

This place should not be a 3 star property. This is the kind of place you should rent by the hour. Stained/soiled chair to sit on. No blankets, front door looked like someone had broken in at one point in time. This place was gross and I don’t recommend to anyone. One thing I do recommend is that ******* removes it from their sight so no one else gets dupped

When I arrived at the property, there was no one at the front desk, so I waited for over 15 minutes for two people to show up. They recognized the backup of customers waiting, and one of them began to busy herself behind the counter, while the other staff member stepped outside for a smoke break. The room was dirty with several broken or missing amenities. This was the dirtiest and grossest stay I've ever paid for. I know it's not a 5 star hotel, but I think it's a stretch to even rate it 1 star.

It was my first time staying in a motel. I arrived in the middle of the night. The cleanliness was okay, nothing special. There was free parking, a simple breakfast, and convenient transportation. For the price, what else can I say? It's totally fine if I just want to stay overnight.

Good service, excellent food. The only place I've had better Mexican was in San Diego. Convenient location. Definitely worth a stop, I recommend the Anniversary Plate personally since you get three different plates, and they are all excellent!

I reluctantly give this place 3 stars. At the old location, I would have given them 10. Their prices were always a little high, but worth it. Worth it because the tortillas were thick, the margaritas were large & strong, and the restaurant itself had a homey feel with different, unique dining rooms. Now? Now you have to pay to park, the margarita glasses are smaller, and the OG tortillas just aren't the same. My family used to frequent this place. Now I won't go out of my way again to eat their forever delicious green chili.

My husband and I really like La Loma. We're not normally big Mexican fans but there's such a wide array of options here. The drinks are great. And the steak fajitas are delicious! There's usually a wait so reservations are definitely recommended.

Went here the other day with the family. It was fun. Cool atmosphere. Pretty good food esp the green chilli. Really like my dish as well it was beef in a japaleno sauce. Really good. Stay away from the margaritas, at least the pitcher. Not worth 40 bucks. Service could have been better.

The staff at La Loma accommodated our party of 10 for my parents’ birthday. They weren’t able to seat us until about 35 minutes past our reservation time, but the host gave us free appetizers and drinks to hold us over until our table was cleared. Our table was beautiful, a cozy corner with more room than you’d think. My family can be difficult on restaurant staff, but the La Loma staff are true pros and were courteous the entire night. Everything came out on time, frequent chips and drinks refills. And everything was delicious! I had the green chile enchiladas. It was a lovely evening thanks to everyone at La Loma! Will definitely be back for another occasion that requires Tex-Mex in a upscale setting.
