What a beautiful jewel! I rented a room for three days with my 13 year old and it's Perfect! Lovely welcome from the owner, our room (renovated and beautiful!!!) was ready beforehand and they gave it to us without a hitch. The people who work there are all smiling. I'm sure all the other guests feel the same way, because everyone smiles here! What's more, in terms of security, the place is accessible by code at night. I highly recommended!

This is not your average motel; it's a unique and lovely place, like a green oasis. The rooms are modern and impeccably clean. The beach is a short two-minute walk away.

We had a very nice experience at Green island inn . The staff was very friendly our room was new, very clean and nicely decorated The pool and grounds where nice old Lauderdale feel by the pool men were playing cards people brought drinks and food down music was playing It had a nice vibe Would definitely stay again

For our purposes it was great. We had to cross a busy road to get to the beach, and it's a few blocks from shops and restaurants. We walk a lot, so it was no problem for us. There were lots of folks smoking by the pool. I really wish the whole property was non-smoking. One star off for all the smoking on the property.

Beautiful property and the rooms are extremely nice. Marble bathrooms, huge shower, very clean, the gardens all around the property are very nice and well cared for! We didn't catch his name but the friendly guy with the tattoos who seemed to be in charge during the weekends was very welcoming, and made sure we were well taken care of. Wish we could have stayed longer and will absolutely be back when we are in the area! Also they were very accommodating to us checking in much earlier then usual, which was such a huge bonus!

Great location close to the beach, restaurants , and Federal Highway were all the malls are located. John was very helpful.
Rooms are ample in size and very clean.
Take some insect repellent as the mosquitoes were very active, especially at night.
Ample free parking available.
Nice outdoor pool and seating area.

If you want to feel like you are in the Caribbean,or old key west with tropical plants,palms, birds,butterflies with French doors and shutters this is your spot. Old school retro motel,dont expect modern luxury,but very clean and peaceful. Agnes is so nice, communicative,and works hard to accommodate you.And with the beach a short walk,you cannot beat the price. A real hidden gem.only place in Ft.lauderdale for me from now on

I can't say enough good things about this place! Going in I was worried by how cheap it was and how close to the beach. But the rooms were nice, well equipped, and super clean! I love the atmosphere of the courtyards. The one tiny complaint is I wish they had salt in the kitchen. But seriously you cannot beat this place!

We had a wonderful time and our room was very clean and comfortable. Agnes was incredibly sweet and welcoming, we made new friends while we were there and had a great time relaxing by the pool.

Wow!! What an amazing cozy hotel. I spent the whole day calling around looking for a place to stay for the night and this was the only place that called me back. they only had one room available and was able to meet me after office hours to give us access to the room for my 3 year old and I. We had a great night and we woke up well rested. I give this place 5 stars and will be back again!
