This hotel is clean and nice, but the $25 charge to check in 15 mins early seems extreme. The parking cost is also very high considering the price for the room is already high.
2 day stay. Did not use any of the amenties. Still charged a destination fee and never received our coupons for breakfast nor the tour in which we were promised to receive the next morning.
Definitely one of the best Hotels in the Area! 11/10 The place is magnificent clean and smells hood everywhere.
The stay was fantastic. The staff was great. The only downside is that I didn’t get the room that I paid for. Supposed to have had water view.
I think the restaurant prices were high and I had booked a room with ocean and intercostal view but when i checked in they said they upgraded me but i could only see a little of the ocean and none of the intercostal so i am not for sure if it was really an up grade
Rooms were very clean, walkable to everything, friendly staff, excellent beach view. The only thing I would like to see is more electrical outlets to charge your phone. There was only one in our room. Would definitely return.

The cost was not worth it to stay here. at this place there was pet charge sales tax resort fee sales tax occupancy tax parking sales tax all doubled our bill which was not worth staying there.
I’ve stayed at Plunge Beach resort several times throughout 2025, and it never disappoints. The location is unbeatable — right on a stunning sandy beach in a friendly and relaxing area.
The staff are genuinely friendly and extremely service-minded. The check-in team is great and always invites you in with a warm and friendly attitude, efficient, and always willing to go the extra mile to meet your...
We had an unexpected extra day to our Miami trip to see Messi and booked here to get a beach day in before the game. The rooms were solid. The beach is very nice and the chairs and pool/beach bar are exactly what you want for a day at the beach. The lobby is nice and updated. The service here was exceptional. From the front desk to the bar they go out of their way to help you. I haven’t had as good...
I had a fantastic stay at The Plunge Beach Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling and ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with everything you need within walking distance. The pool is well-maintained, and the beach service is excellent, from help with umbrellas to getting drinks delivered right to your spot....
We stayed at your hotel for 3 nights. The rooms do need to be made over. They are old but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hallways have a bit of an old smell. We stayed in the building where our room faced the beach. Great view. The garbage in the hallway next to the elevator was not picked up for two days. Food and bottles falling out of the bin.
The one thing I was upset with I was told...
We come here every year and it can't be beat. It's right on the beach. They give you beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. And best of all.... it's a private beach! When you're done, walk up to the pool and have lunch and a few drinks. It's less than half a mile to downtown. You can walk it in under 10 mins or use the free bicycles the resort offers! The staff at the desk are wonderful. This place just...

Very organized and clean place. Good location and amenities.
We spent 1 evening prior to a cruise at the Royal Beach Palace. Room had been renovated and the bed and the bedding were very comfortable. Actually the bed was more comfortable than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in.
No amenities at the hotel but directly across the street is a Bar & Grill where we had a most enjoyable evening. There is also a bakery in the same retail *****. Overall great value for...
Staff were nice, forgot my passport and they were efficient with that situation.
We stayed here one night before our cruise. Arrived late and left early. More like a Motel 6 where the door opens to the outside. The bed was comfortable and good for shower and price was good. Great breakfast place across the street. There was a lot of construction in the area.
Hotel was being renovated. The room was updated and look good, most of the services was not available, due to renovation. Great location near to beach access and city. Check in and out was good.
Shower had to be plugged by service technician.
Bar and refrigerator was well stocked in room.
I just recently stayed here, and I was impressed with the experience. My flight got cancelled so I booked on hotwire blind so I was bit nervous. The hotel is currently under construction so some things are closed. I stayed in a renovated room; it was nice, and the room was clean. It was a mini bar in the room. The staff at the front desk was super nice and the public beach access was a few blocks down...

all was excellent, except for they scheduled a carpet deep cleaning. I set to be done on 28th pm. they said to be ok and under their desired window. But, ignored and got onto my room on the 27rh, wife my wife, todler and 6 month baby inside demanding to clean the carpet..
loved having a fridge in the room and the balcony view was great. Clean hotel and perfect for my stay.
Rooms were clean and I think a bit spacious for a group of 4. Staff was friendly and helpful. Valet a bit rude but other than that I definitely recommend to others
Perfect spot for a Fort Lauderdale getaway. My kids enjoyed themselves and lots to do within close distance.
Delightful stay overall. Small issues with management system.
The room is new, clean, in a good location, practical. I took a picture of the morning view of the hotel.

Did not disappoint! We got a last minute reservation because of the poor unclean condition of our previously booked nearby hotel, and everyone here was very welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, it was a nice breath of fresh air! If we’re in Ft. Lauderdale again, we’ll definitely be returning!
Warm welcome upon entering the hotel
Clean smelling hallways and rooms
Room was clean
Good sleeping 💤
Thanks
The receptionist at the front desk named Jacob was the coolest most helpful person I’ve ever met while dealing with the Marriott company
The toilet was super loud after flushing it. Sounds like a car starting up. Always found hair after then clean the bed. The fresh towel have a lot of hair falling. Just felt the towels or linens just are as clean as they make it seems.
View of a building out of the window. The furniture was grubby. I angled the TV to the bed and there was so much dust behind it… horrible! There was no headboard but two foam pillows. Will not stay again not up to Marriott standards. Plus it’s taking far two long to be reimbursed the ‘incidentals deposit’

I stayed at this hotel a few times and I’ve never had a negative experience. I would recommend highly.
Clean room, comfy bed and room was well equipped. I liked the wall mounted large screen TV.
Good condition. Friendly and efficient service. Excellent location for the purpose of my trip. A bit annoying not to be able to register and pay for parking at the reception desk.
nice breakfast but very expensive
The telephone in the room never worked. Our sliding glass door was broken and not able to lock for 2 days. Finally, they repaired same at 2000 hrs Wednesday. Very unsafe condition
The stay was excellent piece and quite thru the halls and cleanliness throughout the property
Mostly good, however the room where I stayed at was near a hallway entrance and you could hear people coming in and out and talking all night long, they have a no cleaning below 4 nights stay which kind of sucks tbh.

Everything was great and as expected. Friendly , clean and answered all our questions with a smile.
The room was small, but comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice, but extremely busy. There was usually a lot of wait time for service. Convenient access to the beach front areas at a very reasonable cost.
Excellent value excellent location wonderful, friendly staff highly recommend. I’ll be staying there again soon.

The location is relatively quiet and near the beach. You would need to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to the main *****, where the restaurants are. The beach was nice and a short walk from the hotel.
The room was excellent, and the service was nice!
Room was nice and clean. Water pressure in shower was poor but that is not uncommon in hotels. Shower temp could have been warmer. Staff was nice. Valet parking- valets were nice but that was a separate charge. It was per day and yes I did know about it. Not right on the beach but a short walk to the beach. Overall nice hotel and would probably stay here again.
Front desk staff were super friendly, rooms were spacious and decorated so nice. Clean facility and rooms. Everything you needed. Beds were comfy and pillows too!
The stay was good but we were disappointed that we had to pay so much to park, and we didn’t know we were going to be charged. We didn’t see it in the on line info. It was really expensive.
Overall, it was clean, and the interior was as clean as new.
The TV was large, which was nice.
However, the parking fee was expensive, and there were no nearby restaurants, which was a bit disappointing.
Spring Break Week...what was I thinking! Has kitchenette. Old and not really taken care of. But bed was comfortable, bathroom somewhat clean but shows signs of age. But owner very nice. And easy to find.

Our overall trip was great. Jasmine helped us through the time that we arrived in we left. We decided to pay the extra money to check in early and stay late. It was well worth it. We loved the Jacuzzi. It was perfect. No one in there at all. We love the restaurant Village Café next-door had great food. Then we walked down to Sun Surf Sand restaurant, food was amazing food! overall Trip was perfect...
Staff was very friendly. We had trouble with our door key the first day and they wound up having to change the lock itself. Apparently it was a known problem. Just not sure why they didn't change it between guest stays. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. They do need to put the do not disturbs signs in the room so we dont have to ask at the desk
Door lock had been broken and room did not feel secure. HUGE amount of mold inside PTAC. No one had cleaned or maintained these for years. The room itself was clean except for a large stain on the cheap sofa. Bed was great, toiletries OK. Decent mid-range stay, but the price for value was a little tough to justify. Also, annoying resort fee with no real amenities + $10/day for parking. Also...
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The motel itself was nice, nothing fancy with basic amenities. Really enjoyed the proximity of beach & dining. My main complaint is no blackout curtains... extremely bright first thing in the morning. Other small complaint was the cleaning solution used to clean rooms was too strong & overpowering... I had to open all the windows to help get some of the smell out
The ac had to be on 64 to cool the rooms. Felt pretty humid inside. The lights where the 2 bed were didn’t work, door handles were coming off. The place wasn’t bad. Very close to the beach which is what we were looking for. Older place but nice area. Had may food options around. I’d give it 3/4 stars overall
Customer service was great… the room not so much. It was so dirty, lights weren’t working, remote control wasn’t working, the bed stinks, everything looked so run down. Wouldn’t recommend staying for the price.

Everything was just ok. Not as nice as the website led us to believe.
Room was clean. Check in was great, desk girl real nice and helpful. Parking $10 and convenient. There is a little bar in the courtyard and a pool. Hotel is definitely dated, but kept up. Most definitely worth the stay. We will use again next time in Ft L.
The staff was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately the spa and gym were closed for renovations but I was able to use a gym in an resort part of the group. Minor glitches but handled nicely and easily. I would return.
Very cute art deco hotel, but no elevators so I’m glad we were able to go up/down the stairs. Will definitely go back when returning to Fort Lauderdale.

This stay was serviceable. Our first room was full of mayflies (flying bugs) and so we had to switch rooms after we had unpacked and everything. Then when we returned to the hotel, there was not enough parking for our vehicle. Staff found us a place to put our car after a bit of scrambling.

Wonderful stay, a bargain to stay here in this area in a clean setting and with a pool. Roku TVs. Great kitchen. No it is not the high end place and you know that when booking but it is excellent quality. The other reviews that complain ... I'm not sure what some people are expecting. Excellent stay, we felt at home thanks to the comforts and attentions provided, all of this made possible by the management of the Manager and the Staff.
The room was clean, but small. It’s definitely not a King size bed if that’s important to you. There’s no ice. The TV was very difficult to use…. 3 different remotes and no instructions. Beautiful room. City view was stunning in the evening. Plenty of towels and room was very clean. Check in was a breeze. I was pleased with everything.
The property is nice, the suite was very comfortable. What I did not like was the rentals at the beach. I think they should be " no cost" for the guests. Not to mention our umbrella had a big hole on it.

Great location. Rooms were not dated. Cleaning consisted of making beds. I had to call for towels. The pool was dirty, the pool grounds were dirty. The food was good and expensive. One of two of my go-to places for gay lodging while in Ft. Lauderdale! The resort has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the pools and hot tubs are great places to chat up new friends, and the staff are some of the best in the business. Two and a half block from the beach also makes it a perfect location. Always looking forward to my next stay here.
Wonderful experience throughout. A great community of gay men from all over and all backgrounds. If you’re a gay man you’ll fit right in and have a wonderful time. The staff is sooooo friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms are updated, others still need a refresher. Will definitely be back!
This place has three hot tubs. One of them was completely broken. The other was not functioning well. Only one actually was hot. Every single day they ran out of towels at the pool. They were not replaced very quickly. It seems they don’t have enough towels for their customers. The breakfast was decent. The grounds are beautiful, but the room was lacking.
A luxury resort for men with great pools and hot tubs. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My room was very comfortable. Located a short walk from Sebastian beach too. I will definitely be coming back.
Nice resort. Better now all resorts are together which offers more variety. Friendly staff. Clean.
We had a more than enjoyable time! Staff was top notch! It's a beautiful and relaxing environment to enjoy, not to mention the iguanas by the hot tub!
