Hilton Grand Vacations Club Tuscany Village Orlando in Orlando

We went to a discounted timeshare presentation, and while they were trying to sell us one, the room they gave us wasn’t exactly the nicest. Even though it had all sorts of cool stuff, like a full kitchen (except for salt and pepper!), however the fridge was all dented.

The living and dining areas had a big flat-screen TV and a view of the top of a building with utilities right in our face. The light over the dining table looked like it was going to fall at any moment. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were super soft feather pillows with no support. We slept pretty well, though.

The bedroom also had a nice big TV and a hot tub, which was fantastic. The bathroom was spacious with a really nice shower. The washer and dryer were broken and had to be replaced late at night before we checked out. They gave us an extra hour to check out to do our laundry in the morning.

When they put the washer and dryer back, they didn’t push it all the way back, so we couldn’t shut the doors. There was a nice dresser under the TV, but the bottom drawer kept opening up. We had a piece of paper in it to keep it from opening and could not use it.

The stove had no indicators, so we didn’t know how hot we were cooking our food. We called to ask about it, and they said it went both ways, which was incorrect. Low is on the left, and high is on the right. They didn’t provide any tea, but they did provide plenty of coffee. Every time we asked for coffee, we would get 20 bags of sugar, which we didn’t use.

The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken when we arrived. We had to have an engineer come up and replace it. The electrical socket next to the bed didn’t work either. This room was definitely dated and needed a renovation. It wasn’t the kind of room you would put someone in when you’re trying to get $65,000 out of them.

The room looked clean to the naked eye however, overall it was not very clean, the floor turned our white socks black in minutes.

The main building offered all the essential amenities. Since there were owners and members, they had a few additional features. There was a small grill and bakery, a basic restaurant menu at the bar, and a medium pool area with a Jacuzzi and a smaller pool with a lift. In the back, there was an adult pool filled with children and another Jacuzzi. The fitness center had a lot of brand-new equipment, but it was overall dirty. Any surface we had to clean turned the towels black. There was a small room with some video games and a pool table. They also had a small media center and complimentary flavored water. for every one of the main buildings, they also had an outdoor gas grill and seating area. there is a small lake in the middle of the development with a walking path all around it. it is connected to the premium brand outlet mall in right across the street from a grocery store. it’s located right off I-drive and near all the attractions.

I will finish by saying the staff was incredible. It’s not their fault that their corporation is failing its customers. They certainly take up all the slack. Everyone at the timeshare presentation was outstanding and didn’t pressure us as much as we thought they would.

This is our 7th time staying at this property and possibly our last. Not once during the 5 days did anyone actually enter our Suite and mop/vacuum/tidy or even dress a bed.. each evening the door bell rung to which we were the ones carrying out the trash and exchanging towels etc. Nowhere near clean enough at any juncture
