Booked this hotel due to its location and it does have walkable restaurants and places. However, the rooms were not up to par. Thermostat room didn’t work and it was cold, they changed me to another room and thermostat was also broken didn’t blow warm air. No hot water, called front desk nobody answered. Next day I made them aware of issue and what I had experienced. Ask if they could waive breakfast fee of $19.99 for inconvenience. They said “No”.
Bar downstairs serves drinks and small tapas. Ordered wings and fries took over 45mins. Wouldn’t blame them though it was busy and only one cook and one bartender, which was vaping at the bar due to stress “I guess”.
Not the Marriot standard I’m used to. - I would pass on this hotel. If you’re a Marriot Member go to Moxy or Springhill Suites near by and try your luck there. If not plenty Hilton hotels near by.
Valet is $55. Vet guys were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

The hotel is conveniently located near Centennial Park. Upon arrival valet was prompt and patient while unloading our car. They even helped get a luggage cart and off load bags. The front desk reception was nothing short of amazing. We had a king suite for a room which was very spacious and clean. The room was comfortable and I would absolutely stay again.

Let me start with the staff at this location was great. The hotel is right across from Olympia park and next to a Waffle House. The hotel itself seems dated and not kept up. The rooms and lobby had an odor. Can’t describe it but it just didn’t smell fresh. Valet guys were a little rude but I believe they are contracted. They are fast though. The area is sketchy with homeless people around but they really don’t bother you, they are just around. The doors stay locked and they have insight security at night and require you to use your room key for access. Only one elevator is functional. I wouldn’t return bc I prefer a more modern stay but it’s okay for 1-2 nights but def wouldn’t recommend for a lengthy stay. Valet is also $50/day but there is across the street parking at your own risk

I don’t often review hotels (even though I travel 50-60% of the time and see many), but this one stuck out for many reasons. The front desk was beyond kind and accommodating, with a great sense of humor. We were here for a show, so the hotel could have been overwhelmed, but they accommodated our bags after checkout and offered us conference room space if we needed it for a short stint. The lobby itself has nooks and crannies with seating if you do need to huddle for business purposes. All in all a great stay!

Incredible service!!!! The bartenders David and Quaneisha at the main bar on the ground floor were so nice, generous and enthusiastic. Great conversation and great service. Genuinely kind and interested. My friends and I just went for drinks and it was truly a great experience. I highly recommend this bar. The lobby and the hotel as a whole are very fancy and a nice place to hang out.

Fabulous Hotel. INCREDIBLE SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY! Never had better actually! The kitchen management Sonja and Kim were exceptional as well as the front desk clerks and even down to Peter the maintenance man. All did their jobs above and beyond with dedication and professionalism. I will always come back to this location when I visit Atlanta. The area was close to downtown fun activities like shopping and a giant carousel but the noise level was great. We slept perfectly. Thank you so much for everything guys!

Hotel is within walking distance to the stadium, park, Coca Cola Museum, Aquarium and Congress Center. Room is big and well equipped, beds are good. Breakfast was very good and the service was great. The bar service with barkeeper Lisa was outstanding good

Check in was quick and staff was very courteous. Rooms look great. Lobby perfect to just grab a drink. Location is perfect!!! Right down town. We walked over to Stats for dinner cut right through centennial park. Valet is high but if you don't plan on driving save $15 and park across the street for $20.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean but unassuming space. Room was modern and very functional, except for the lack of light. Nice bathroom size, felt almost spacious. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very disappointing, especially considering the cost. Sadly I actually preferred to go next door to the Waffle House. They call it a Europe style breakfast. I've traveled Europe, stayed at AC Hotels there, and this is not comparable in any way.

Very nice place! Excellent views of the city and good service. They have very few vegetarian options. They claim to be a seasonal restaurant, so I hope they add more vegetarian options the next time they change their menu. Vegan pasta (pasta made out of zucchini and carrots) looked incredible but tasted okay! Brownie points for the idea.

One of the best things I've ever done with free time. You don't have to eat to go up there, I had to pay $8 once, great deal! The food is quite expensive but if you're not expecting that then this isn't your environment. Great 360 degree views from the 72 floor (the building is 723ft tall) so that's somewhere above 700ft. 100% recommend. Unless you eat you only have 1 interaction with staff, if you're worried about them being 'stuck-up'. They were very nice to me though, greeting me and asking how things were in perfect timings.

I loved all the food and appetizers and the atmosphere. Bummer that the Sun Dial restaurant no longer rotates due to a horrific but one-off accident. (Doesn't seem like a place to bring children anyway) The rotating platform was what made it iconic, center in downtown Atlanta. It kind of mellowed out my evening. Certain seats are without a view at all now. I'd still dine with them for the food and service, but somehow I feel like I could get the same at any other fine dining establishment now.

Excellent service! First class experience. I hosted a seminar and took all 52 guests to the Sun Dial after the event. They absolutely loved the food, the view, and the customer service. Alp and his team did an exceptional job making sure all of our needs were met. The restaurant gets my highest recommendation.

The food is great. You're paying a lot for the ambience though. Our server was absolutely amazing. The bread that they brought before the meal was perfect. I ordered the New York strip and wife had the salmon. Both were great. However, the sundial isn't a steak house and I've had better strip for less. That isn't the reason you go. You go for the view and the experience and they delivered. We were there when the sun went down and it was gorgeous. This place is a must visit if only for the bar. I hope they get it spinning again soon.

This location is busy due to its location. Bar menu is limited during happy hour compared to other locations especially when it comes to drinks. Beer prices are never too bad, but many of the mixed drinks we're used to are missing. Food was good. Our waitress did a great job of being there when you needed her, but never bothered us.

Service can be somewhat slow and not friendly the food is not bad. The Happy Hour is good and I'd go back for that when I can't make up my mind on another place to eat but be prepared for the wait from your server. I love people watching and sitting in the bar area is a treat

The food was hot and very tasty. The dessert was over the top. This was my first time going for a Veterans day meal. Would have been nice if they had mentioned that they validated parking IF you parked in the CNN center deck.

I visited this location last night with a friend. I called ahead to ensure that they validated parking and I was told they did, but upon arrival we were told they didn't validate on days with special events, which I didn't observe anything special occurring at the time. Before arriving to this location I was looking for the parking garage that the restaurant would honor parking, apparently no one was able to correctly direct me to the garage that was located on the right side of the building. The waitress was polite and the food was ok. The overall customer experience matters and because of this standard I won't be paying this location a repeat visit.

I have passed by this restaurant many times before. I did not realize what I was missing! The food was very tasty and delicious. Our server was Tyler, loved him! Very professional yet accommodating at the same time! Can't wait to go back!
