The valet staff at the front of the hotel seemed more interested in socializing than assisting guests. Instead of directing us to the appropriate areas, they were engaged in conversations among themselves
When I sought their help, they responded inappropriately and made a scene. It was an unpleasant experience. However, the front desk staff were a breath of fresh air
The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained. Our connecting suite was relaxing. Walking distance to GA AQ, Coca Cola, ATL kids museum, and so many places was definitely a plus. We would definitely come back!
You would have thought this place was a motel where sex workers frequented with the types of folks who were roaming around the lobby when checking in
Service: Our valet experience was the best I have ever had! Abass was infectiously friendly, hospitable, and helpful. While being the last person we saw before leaving, he was the most memorable part of our stay
We had a nice one-night stay! Overall good experience. Good could have been a bit more elevated, but not bad! Market breakfast was great

I recommend this hotel for families. Attractions like the Aquarium and World of Coca Cola were close. There was also a mall with multiple restaurants and such connected to the hotels so you won’t have to go outside
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and for reaching food and entertainment places by walk. The service at the hotel was good, nothing special, very kind
The coffee is supposed to be complimentary, but they kept telling us they would send someone to give us cups but no one ever showed up. Other than that, the room was cozy, nice and perfect for what we wanted
The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes away from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and The Centennial Olympic Park. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan on seeing any of these or the stadium
Hotel is clean and toilet with full amenities
Small cafe and restaurant for easy and fast needs like water, breakfast or snacks.
Staff is friendly
Luggage storage available
Stayed here for Beyonce Cowboy Carter Tour and they did an amazing job even had decor and music dedicated to the event for us beyhive to enjoy .

I explained I wanted to tip some of the employees, and she sternly said "I told you where you could get change and those are your options. " It caught me so off-guard, that I stood there for a moment and walked away
As I did, she sharply said "THANK YOU" in a tone that was beyond passive-aggressive. So bizarre and out of character for what was a delightful stay. The culture there seems really good, and I hope to return
The only negative encounter was when I was waiting to speak to the gal in the Bonvoy Platinum line about getting change. Another employee walked up and said she could help me in another line
Last weekend a friend and I stayed here for a game at State Farm. From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was stellar (except for one instance - which I'll get to in a moment)
Everyone was super friendly, the place was clean even though the property has been around for a really long time. They are working on upgrades, but the beds and showers were fab
When I asked about the change, she said I could go to Starbucks, the valet line or the cafe

Shout-out the valet team, they worked hard and were very accommodating when needing to park for a few minutes
Natasha was a wonderful server ay fandanles and the food came out quick and tasted great. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool
The hotel was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and not too far from the aquarium. It was an easy train ride from the airport which saved us quite a bit on a rental car
Don't get the pool view! The carpet floors looked really dirty. The best thing here is the staff, who are there to help you, they are very polite and professional. There are restaurants on the property
So, you'll hear the noisy kids in the pool, up & until 10pm. There is a glass door in your room that opens up into the pool area. Check the latch to make sure it is properly locked, mine was unlatched

The decoration style is similar to that of the Ritz-Carlton in China, the old money style, but the bathroom has no door and water is all over the floor.
The shower gel is very fragrant and the service is very good
It’s also very close to some attractions
The design is mediocre, but considering the price, it is not a big problem
One of the nicest hotels to stay at for the holidays! I loved every minute of our stay. The staff are amazing. Along with that the rooms are perfect. One of my favorite Marriott properties.
Luxurious decoration, quiet, excellent location
The location is good, and it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the aquarium. The hotel recognized the Marriott membership number and upgraded to a suite

Our server was very understanding wrapped up my son's meal and was able to put our order to go so we could bring it upstairs and put my son to bed. The lobby and restaurant I will be going through a bit more renovation
Water pressure is water for showers. Other than that, everything is fine.
Clean and spacious hotel, plus my room had two big bottles of water for free! However you’d have to pay $59. 90(tax inclusive) for overnight parking which is too pricey if you ask me
The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a very nice hotel. Renee and Joy went over and above to make our stay perfect. We will definitely return!!
Also, room services was at my door at 8am to ask the time I’ll be leaving whilst check out starts at 11am (hotel needs to check that)

Absolutely wonderful . Great nostalgic hotel the staff were all friendly and there for everything. The room was comfortable. The only lower point would be the elevators very slow and only a few seemed to work !
We had a wonderful experience at The Candler. Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown. We were checking in right as a big group was as well, but the front desk kept things moving in a very efficient manner
We enjoyed every aspect of the Candler Hotel. The brunch menu had a wide variety and our options were delicious. The staff was excellent, the waitress, the front desk and the valet’s all did an excellent job
We absolutely loved our stay at the Candler! The hotel is beautiful and accommodating, but the staff truly make it incredible. The bell captain that helped us up to the room was so kind
The bed and bedding were amazing, we slept great! The hotel is beautiful and we will be back!
Our stay at the Candler Hotel has been wonderful. Our deluxe room with a city view is very spacious and well appointed. The hotel is gorgeous and so nicely decorated. It is like stepping back to more elegant times

The floor to ceiling glass windows were my favorite giving you the perfect city views! The beds were super comfy which made me never want to get out of bed:) Room service/whatever, whenever service were awesome! The lobby was beautiful! It had a very hip, unique vibe! Not your boring hotel attire for sure, I loved it!! I recommend coming to the W Atlanta and I hope to be back again myself!!! :)
Hotel was under construction during our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the rooftop bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We will be back once the construction has been completed.
I came here for a business event, and I love that the property was convenient and it was walkable or a short Uber to the places that I needed to go
Clean rooms and really well appointed
Staff was great and enjoyed food and drinks at both bars
Fitness room was great and had everything I was looking for
Will definitely return here and highly recommend
Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK Not bad, OK
Everything was pretty much good just the parking is high for them to have nothing ealse near to park. So you have to use them.

Also I think this is a great hotel for a girls trip or with your significant other. The view I had from my room was absolutely stunning. I would recommend and plan on staying again
I booked this hotel for a friend. The facilities were good, the service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming to every guest.
The hotel room is very clean and quite satisfactory. The location of the hotel is not biased. It is relatively close to Coke World, Aquarium and Olympic Park. It takes less than half an hour to walk there.
GOOD LOCATION & TRENDY HOTEL. CAR PARK IS CONVENIENT & JUST OPPOSITE OF MERCEDES STADIUM.
Clean and hygienic. The rooftop gym is spacious and bright. The staff are all quite friendly. The food at the first-floor restaurant is so-so, but Atlanta is really a food wasteland.
Very clean and tidy, but there is no water in the room, so you have to buy it yourself.

Additionally the valet service attendant Raheem went above and beyond as well, not just regarding exceptional service, but for my safety as well. These individuals should be recognized by their integrity and work ethic
The valet, James, retrieved our car several times and each time picked up our previous conversation and treated us like family. Treat yourself to a bit of history and luxury and stay with “friends” at the Ellis!
The rooms, while smaller, are well appointed with luxe finishes, quiet and had a beautiful downtown view. The true gem however is the staff! Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay lovely
Love everything about the Ellis! It’s a small unassuming boutique hotel through Marriott. Its history goes back 110 years and has the distinction of being the first high rise in downtown Atlanta
From check-in to checkout, everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely considerate. I especially appreciated the follow-ups after I checked in—just to make sure everything in my room was up to standard
Didnt eat in the Ellis, but absolutely everyone was at the top of friendly, competent and all went above the call of duty making our business trip for the Gift Market a piece of cake
The bed is beyond comfortable! Nice bar downstairs and above on the top floor! Also has a full service food venue as well. Great little gem right downtown!
Great location. Perfect walking distance to the GA Aquarium. And the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
I had an outstanding stay. The hotel was clean, stylish, quiet and convenient to state farm arena. The staff and accommodations were top tier. Great value for my money. i will definitely be staying there again.
it was the prefect location for attending a concert across the street. staff was very and helpful , dinner was excellent and the bar staff very courteous. we will definitely return.
Benson Boone Concert Stay
Parking in valet was easy and the valet workers, especially Craig, were just wonderful and helpful in getting me to where I needed to go
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue with the room was the drain in the bathroom sink was slow to drain out water.

The valet attendant was friendly and so helpful! We checked in with Marc and he was fabulous! We enjoyed some college football banter about our favorite teams! We was very helpful and treated us so great as we were there celebrating our birthdays! We checked out this morning and the lady who assisted us was fantastic as well! Didn’t get her name but I do remember her name tag said manager! We had a...
The restaurant had amazing food! The bar had a lot of drink options. Now to talk about the room- WOW, just WOW! We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous view, and had everything you would need
Lots of space in suite but could be utilized better. Friendly professional staff but stingy with towels for some reason. Some websites suggest there is a self-parking option but appeared to be entirely valet
It was a 10/10 stay from the moment we pulled up to valet from the time we checked out. The lady at the front desk was so sweet when we checked in and the food at the restaurant there was AMAZING
Rooms were spacious, updated and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Property within walking distance to aquarium, park and Mercedes stadium. I would return!
Everything was great and valet parking put the cherry on top. Even though I didn’t get my requested wash clothes lol Everything still was a 10/10

We always try to stay in a Comfort Inn whenever we go somewhere, but it's not always feasible. So we were delighted when we discovered this one so close to our yearly event in Atlanta
Hot water was intermittent, our toilet made horrible sounds that lasted for 10 minutes after flushing, the entire hallway smelled so badly of cigarette smoke we didn't want to leave our room, the AC didn't function properly
We come to Atlanta every year, and we have stayed in different hotels each time. From now on it will be this one. Can't say enough good things about it
Parking was readily available, the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was up to par with other Comfort Inns.
at first, I was a little skeptical bc of the reviews, but it ended up being a really nice hotel! not to mention, the hospitality was great! its a little outdated but everything was clean, beds were soft, & the breakfast was a good 7
Attentive and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and included both a microeave and tefrigerator.
The accommodation was very good, and the breakfast was delicious and spacious. It might not be luxurious, but it was perfectly adequate.
First of all, you can not cancel the trip. Besides that it is perfect, got morning breakfast, porriage, diy waffle and a few others. Compare with other city or hotel i live b4, this one is not bad
Excellent staff, very attentive to needs. The hotel is a bit older and could use some sprucing up, but it was clean and affordable and much better than some reviews said.
we love the room. It was excellent. Everything was clean. We’ll recommend this hotel too one of our friends.
The stay was good, I just suggest you be more aware of the amount that is withheld.
They had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, grits, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, muffins, Danish, cereals and milk, yogurt, and of course the best part the make your own waffles. Overly, it is worth the stay!

But if you're looking for a cool relaxing atmosphere, give this place a try. It has a good gym, a bar, and is located strategically
Let me start with the staff at this location was great. The hotel is right across from Olympia park and next to a Waffle House. The hotel itself seems dated and not kept up. The rooms and lobby had an odor
Can’t describe it but it just didn’t smell fresh. Valet guys were a little rude but I believe they are contracted. The area is sketchy with homeless people around but they really don’t bother you, they are just around
I don’t often review hotels (even though I travel 50-60% of the time and see many), but this one stuck out for many reasons. The front desk was beyond kind and accommodating, with a great sense of humor
INCREDIBLE SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY! Never had better actually! The kitchen management Sonja and Kim were exceptional as well as the front desk clerks and even down to Peter the maintenance man
We were here for a show, so the hotel could have been overwhelmed, but they accommodated our bags after checkout and offered us conference room space if we needed it for a short stint
Atlanta, 311 Courtland St NE (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Not a Hilton but clean and comfortable. It needs some paint but I couldn't see that from my room. Parking was secure and only $15/night. I stayed 2 nights for the Peach Bowl for $255 (total) plus parking
Had a great stay in Atlanta, central location and nice staff.
The person at the front desk was amazing. He greeted me and was very nice. I have stayed here before in 2012. It is the best motel I have ever been to in my life.
Great location for that at a great price
Large room designated as a pet room. I have loud traffic on both sides and my cats were scared and I've been awake since 5am. The traffic is continuous day and night. Possibly the worst room i ever stayed in.
Although it's an older property, it was clean and served its purpose at a fraction of the cost.
Great location! It is central to Coca Cola museum and college football museum.
The location of the hotel is very good. In the city center, the aquarium and the Coca-Cola Museum are very close. There are restaurants, ice cream, and everything around
All staff weee do friendly couldn’t fault this place from the fresh hit breakfast to the free evening reception!
Splitting hairs but the only 2 slight criticisms are the music on pool deck is too loud & public atrium too cold!!
Apart from that everything was wonderful - def the best choice in downtown Atlanta
Always love embassy suites. Still do the happy hour at night and free made to order omelets and breakfast. Having a door between the bedroom and living room is always great for when traveling with friends.
Fantastic location in the heart of Atlanta. Valet parking was pleasant. Good desk crew. Nice rooms. Great view of the park. Breakfast included. Nice gift shop. Well maintained. Quiet.
Great stay and we had a blast also the breakfast was amazing. Close to everything in the area centennial park and the Georgia aquarium was beat
