Residence Inn Maui Hotel in Wailea

The hotel was excellent, and the scenery far exceeded my expectations. Chris at the front desk was very nice and upgraded our room for free. I would consider staying here again.

We had a great stay in Wailea. We were close enough to the beaches without having the chaos of so many tourists. Room was clean, breakfast was a great bonus and staff was friendly.

Berlin and the rest of the staff were up to par on everything! Aside from housekeeping not showing up for one of the days, it was an incredible first time experience in Maui/Wailea.

Great hotel, room had a small kitchen area which was useful as we cooked in a few nights. Bar area in the evening was pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely to sit on tables outside near the pool area. Didn’t use the pool but it looked ok and well used by other guests. Equally there was an outdoor bbq area - very handy. Concierge was extremely helpful recommending places to visit and restaurants. Parking was easy, lots of spaces but have to pay extra per night.

Although it encountered the largest wildfire in Maui, Hawaii and was very close to the hotel, the hotel management was still very orderly and professional, and the surrounding environment was also very good.

The medicine was placed in the refrigerator in the room. I forgot to take it when I checked out at 11:00. The hotel said it was lost at 2:30.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed.

We had a fantastic time staying here and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was friendly, check-in/out was easy, the resort was extremely well kept, and the rooms were clean and modern.
Location wise you can't beat it for the price - you're a few minutes to a grocery store, minutes away from a few dinner restaurants, and a 5-minute walk down to the water and beach boardwalk.
One piece of constructive feedback would be to change up the breakfast options, cater better to vegetarian/plant-based diets, and serve fresh fruit, which is plentiful in Hawaii!

Came here with family and got two rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Had a kitchen inside which we didn’t end up using. The breakfast had lots of good options. Pool is beautiful. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and sitting by the fire at night. The premises are well taken care of. Staff was friendly. Will be happy to come back.
