Significant Noise Issues and No Meaningful Resolution

Our stay at Wailea Ekahi Village was significantly impacted by ongoing noise disturbances that made it very difficult to rest properly. The level and consistency of the noise were not minor inconveniences, but conditions that materially affected sleep and overall comfort throughout the stay.

We reported the issue and submitted clear documentation, including photographs and video recordings, to substantiate the situation. Despite this, no meaningful resolution was provided. The reimbursement request was declined without explanation of what standards were applied or how the documented evidence was evaluated.

A formal escalation request was submitted for managerial review. That final communication received no response.

The most concerning aspect of this experience was not just the noise itself, but the lack of transparency and follow-up after documented concerns were raised.

For a property operating at this price point and through a trusted booking channel, guests reasonably expect both a restful environment and accountable customer support when issues arise.

Based on our experience, both were lacking.

AVOID - No running water, no internet, no privacy, no lanai … No refund.

Stayed for a week and I did not have water for 2 days and when it was restored it was brown. My internet was out 50% of the time. A staff member let themselves into my room while I was in the bathroom. My condo was advertised as having a lanai and it did not. I asked for a refund for the time I didn’t have water and they refused. Also, bizarrely, they ran leaf blowers on two of the days of my stay (not much autumn foliage in Maui).

The only positive is the location, which is indeed spectacular.

Easily the worst accommodations in South Maui. I would rather go to the dentist than spend another millisecond here.
