Lovely room and property, friendly staff, excellent amenities (on site dining, shuttle service, beautiful pool and hot tub.) Offers a more secluded, romantic and quieter Maui experience than the typical Wailea lodging. Unique Birdcage Restaurant and bar was an added plus for us.

It’s not a bad hotel. But it’s far from extraordinary and simply put: not worth the price. For USD 1300+ per night without anything I neither like roaches in the bathroom nor bird poo on me within minutes sitting in their lounge. After all I came to a hotel - not a zoo… And I dislike humid smell and limited fan-steering for the AC as well.
So honestly said - I would not go again

Perfect Honeymoon Spot
Absolutely phenomenal place and we loved every second of staying there on our honeymoon. The attention to detail was so incredible and staff were so attentive. The location is great easily the most stunning hotel we have stayed at

Design wise was little 2012…remodel was 2014-2015. outdated tv etc
Partial ocean view interior differes BIG time vs “Celebration” ( website pics 2023)! Room is big, layout is odd: SHOWER is IN YOUR WALK IN WARDROBE!!! LOL ( unworn ruined silk clothes on day two) uncomfy bed. Service was inconsistent (from great to mediocre, depended on the person) big tips didn’t help. heavy on honeymooners, no cool vibe in the hotel, introverts. PROS: open air gym, sunset views, pancakes, birds and mini jungle feel. cons: concierge/front desk was dial broken. everything is an add on, u r cool if u want to $$$. newer cars (Mercedes and Range Rover were not available Lol), restaurant room service was OK and 90 min wait. Unfortunately hotel didn’t do it for me in 2025

Amazing and relaxing resort
It was an amazing boutique resort the property is beautiful and very relaxing a different vibe from the other Wailea resorts the staff is great and the amenities are nice including the shuttles to anywhere in the Wailea area. Definitely would come back and say if you get a chance to check it out loved our suite

The hotel environment is very good and the service is good. It is far from the seaside and there is a car to pick up and drop off. The price is a bit expensive!

This hotel has a first-class location, the hotel is small, warm and comfortable, unlike other hotels around that are too big and noisy, Wailea Hotel is quiet and peaceful, especially Eric at the front desk, who is warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home.

the property is simply perfect. The staff are the best I’ve ever experienced in all my travels. the rooms are comfortable and appointed with everything you might want. Even though we had torrential rain for our entire trip (sub optimal indeed) the beauty of the place and the whales in the distance made our holiday restful and easy.
