If you want an authentic New Orleans hotel, this is the place. It’s charming and older. Everyone who worked here was so nice. Location is top notch, everything is within walking distance.

We were really disappointed with our stay. We ended up overpaying for a very small room, and the photos online look nothing like what we actually got. Honestly, it felt a bit like a scam.

Checkout was another headache—we waited an incredibly long time, and it wasn’t just us. Several other guests were stuck waiting as well, all of us trying to catch flights.

The room conditions were also uncomfortable. It was loud outside, the temperature was terrible, and our group couldn’t get comfortable at all—our friends were freezing while we were too hot. The only option provided was a broken box fan that barely worked and was nearly as loud as the street noise.

We typically love historic or older properties and understand the quirks that come with them, but this experience didn’t feel charming or authentic—just unpleasant. Unfortunately, this stay missed the mark in almost every way.

Two pros: Location was good, and the view from the balcony was pretty.

Landmark hotel, classic NOLA feel, and perfect location next to one of our favorite bars at the far end of Bourbon Street! Felt very safe with needing a code to get in after-hours. Owner was super nice and we enjoyed everything!

Old New Orleans Original. Perfect
Our Cruise Ship was going out of New Orleans so we decided we wanted to spend a couple of days enjoying New Orleans. Our stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed the historic value of this hotel and the area that it is in. If you are looking for a luxury hotel then this not the hotel for you. If you are looking for a wonderful hotel that has the charm of New Orleans then this is your place. We loved everything about it and the staff was excellent. Thank You

The staff was amazing, I lost my phone and they were attentive and asked frequently if I had found it which was really nice to know they cared. The building was gorgeous and we stayed in room 40 which was decorated nicely and was clean upon arrival. We would absolutely stay again.

First night in NOLA, and we go here for dinner. They definitely set the standards really high! Lamb shank that falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. I had the Ahi Tuna, another great dish.

We were amazed with all the flavors in our food and drinks. Wish we were able to find a similar restaurant near home.

By far THE best place to go to in New Orleans. They have a romantic courtyard patio in front of the restaurant where you can eat as well as drink their amazing cocktails. By far the best muffaletta sandwiches in New Orleans hands down. I think it's the bread they use, it's not the traditional sesame bread but this buttered fluffy yet toasty bread. It's amazing. The general manager I forgot his name, chatted with us after our lunch and he was incredibly helpful/insightful regarding other places to eat at. We loved it so much, that we decided to end our trip here once again for dinner. Another huge bonus is that they are incredibly dog friendly thanks to their courtyard area. In short, if you want a dog friendly/cozy and romantic place to eat at while in New Orleans I highly recommend this place!

One of my favorite places in New Orleans. Go when it is warm enough to sit around the fountain while you wait for a table. Enjoy the quiet garden, hidden just far enough from the street to feel peaceful. The food itself is exquisite and worth enjoying at a leisurely pace. This place is certainly magical.

Really beautiful outdoor space, which was even more romantic when the sun set. The service here is very friendly, and the food was delicious. I had the pork chop and grits from the standard dinner menu, which was very filling. (They also have specials to consider as well, such as a daily pasta, soup, and cocktail.)
Great dinner in the French Quarter. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

So New Orleans!! Beautiful courtyard with great cocktails. My pork chop was delicious. Too big to finish. Go hungry, because you will want to try several apps. My sister in-law had the cheesecake and raved about it. Service was really good. I have walked by on many trips to New Orleans and always wanted to try Cafe Amelie, so glad we finally did. Will not be our only visit.

Old Stale fries and raw meat on my sandwhiches. I have been going to Verdi Mart for years and I must say it has Been decreasing in the quality of there food. They have always had horrific customer services but the food made up for what was lacked. I can’t believe Ms Tasha the manager on duty this morning had the nerve to tell me “it’s nothing she can do about.” Like just take and be grateful attitude. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I WILL LET ANY AND EVERYONE KNOW THE BAD EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED AND THE WASTE OF 40.00 on food that had to be thrown away.

This place doesn't look like much, but there are delicious sandwiches and food hidden within. Deep within, like walk all the way to the back and order at the counter. Then you go to the front when you have your food to pay.

This mini mart/deli serves up a mean sandwich 24/7. We went with the $14 All that Jazz sandwich and it was all that. It's big enough to satisfy 2 drunks at the end of the night, but I'm not sure how the math works during day time. CASH ONLY

Philly steak and cheese best I've ever had!!! Perfect amount of cheese, peppers and onions cooked to perfection, and no grease! Delivery is fast, price is on point...5 stars from Florida!

Loved the food and customer service! They have a variety of sandwiches and meats. The mac n cheese is just right! The place is small and can only have a few people in the store at a time. It's essentially a mini-mart in the front and food in the back. Hallways are narrow and you need to be careful not to bump anything. Parking is hard to find. They accept cash only but have an ATM and it's open 24hrs.
