Maison Dupuy Hotel, New Orleans1 / 50
8.6
New Orleans, 1001 Toulouse Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
My daughter's wedding took place in the beautiful courtyard. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I left behind some valuables in my room, and after contacting the staff, they quickly arranged for their shipping back to my home in PA. Love this place!
Very convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, comfortable bed mattress and plenty of big fluffy pillows. Biggest drawback is no mini fridge or microwave oven.
The location was perfect, just 2 blocks from Bourbon, and other streets with party atmospheres. Maison Dupuy was just far enough away for a quiet stay. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The pool was listed as heated but was definitely too cold to swim. Courtyard area is nice and cute. Perfect for a small wedding, or a cocktail in the sun. I agree with reviews that list the rooms as a bit...
The staff could NOT have been more accommodating! The location was awesome. Close to everything without the craziness. Loved everything about my stay, except that I had to leave.
What a great motel. Old but very clean. Friendly and informative staff. We had a little trouble with housekeeping scheduling our room to be cleaned but other than that it was great. Within walking distance from many attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
What a great hotel!!! Fantastic location near Bourbon Street. We want to bring the whole extended family to see the WWII Museum and stay here. It’s better than a high rise. This place has character. Thank you Dawn Bourgeois for all your great suggestions from the concierge desk. Love your fantastic advice!!! So friendly and smart!!! Hope to see you soon.
Very welcoming and polite staff. Handled any problems with ease and a great attitude. A few blocks off bourbon street so noise level and craziness was minimized.

+ Room super spacious and very clean. + Great location in the heart of New Orleans, directly at Canal Street, and right next to it the Avis/Budget car rental as well as the Tulane hospital incl. Emergency Room. + The staff members were super friendly and helpful!!!
I happened to come across a really good deal for this hotel when I was looking, so it seemed like fate that we would stay here. The Jung looked great in the pictures, but you never truly know. When we checked in (a little early) and got to our room, it was a pleasant surprise! The room was huge! The bathroom was huge and bright, with a great shower! We all showered and never had a lacking of hot water...
Very spacious, modern room with all the amenities you will need during a short stay. Very clean and the staff was helpful as well. Would recommend!
Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a hotel. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you will love it I'm sure! Our room was very clean. We liked that it was a code for our room door and they had added...
Best part of our New Orleans trip. Beautiful hotel with clean and spacious room for a great price. There's a rooftop pool that guest have access to, the view from there during the evening was really nice. There were limited free parking spots right in front of the hotel that we parked our car at during our 5 days stay. We got to all the main attractions by foot. We took the public transit one day...
I had a delightful stay at The Jung . Everything was brand new , The Executive King Room super spacious , big bathroom with all essential amenities. Wonderful surprises in the kitchenette all new stove, refrigerator with an awesome ice maker, dishwasher dishes and utensils provided. I don't know what mattress they had but I need one of those in my life, so comfy. I highly recommend you visit.

great location, rooms are big and have all the facilities you need.
I've read a lot of negative reviews about this place and I don't get it. I found the staff very attentive and friendly. They made me feel welcomed. The hotel was in great shape. The elevator worked and the room was clean. The A/C worked very well, which is important in New Orleans, especially August. We'll be back.
Great location! Short walk to Canal Street and the French Quarter. Breakfast was decent and I liked the fact that it was served to you. The room was clean. The only con was the water pressure was very low and at times you couldn't flush the toilet. I would stay again.
Loved our experience at the hotel. The staff were all so friendly and made our stay easy. Everyone was very helpful there and checked to make sure we had what we needed and asked each day how we were doing, and after each time we returned they asked how our trip was. The location was central to everything we wanted to do on our trip and offered suggestions for activities. Will definitely stay here...
We had a great stay here for two nights after our cruise with only two minor complaints. First, we had asked the room to be feather free when we booked AND when we arrived before check in. Upon checking in later in the day, we arrived to find feather pillows on the bed. Guest services brought poly pillows quickly upon request. The second complaint is probably due to staff shortages, but every light...

Comfortable bed, quiet, good shower. Room at good temperature. Friendly staff
Attended a conference and this hotel was located about a mile walk from the convention center. The front desk was not on the ground floor you had to take the elevator up to the reception area. That became a wait since they only had one elevator, then add luggage. The staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean and had a modern feel. It was within walking distance to Bourbon street and the French...
I really like this hotel. It has the feel of a newly renovated loft condo. It is very clean, practical and affordable. My room had a island counter with cushioned leather bar seats that are great for working and eating. It also had a super comfie section sofa with stylish and function pillows for reading and working. Sparkling new appliances, silver ware, dishes and pots and pan make this place feel...
Overall good, other than few cockroaches found in baths. Hallways some times smells weird. Pretty good breakfast. Had nice views from my room. The restaurant in hotel limited options; but affordable. Lobby for the hotel in 11th floor, which is bit different than most hotels.
Turned out to be an amazing weekend for my fiance & I. The room, hotel, service, & amenities ended up being far greater than I ever expected. Thanks to Priceline our room ended up costing $100 less than Days Inn a few blocks away! We can't wait to go back!
The hotel itself is nice, in a good location & very clean, which I appreciate. The free morning breakfast includes hot & cold items, waffles, and made to order omelets. This is very helpful & we saved a lot of money on breakfast during our 5 day vacation. What we did spend a lot of money is the parking. The parking garage is shared with other businesses and Dave & Busters. So even though were already...

Im not understanding why $153 was tooken off my card when the room was $138
Walking in, everyone greeted us with a smile. My boyfriend and I were very excited to see our room, which looked exactly like on the website. Everything was very clean and neat. The front desk employees are super sweet, always greeting you when you leave and come back. I would definitely come back to this hotel again on the next visit.
I'm giving this place a three because it's advertised as a three star hotel but it's really a two star hotel. If it were billed as two star, it would live up to its billing fairly well. But the level of amenities and the quality of the service was not what I expected, given the three star identification and the Hyatt name. It was dingy, amenities were few, and the service was amateurish. That said...
I cannot say any bad about this place. Such a great place to stay. They have great breakfast options and 24 hr dining. This made all the difference in our plans since our flight got in at 1:30am. The beds are pretty comfortable and the rooms are super spacious! We had a double bed with a sofa bed- more than enough space for 4 adults and a baby. We also requested a crib in our room and it was delivered...
The hotel is in a good location. French Quarter can be easily reached on foot. Our room was quite big and clean. Unfortunately we forgot a few things in the room of our photographic equipment. We wrote the hotel by e-mail and sent a fax. Unfortunately we did not receive an answer. Otherwise we would have given 5 stars.
Beautiful hotel. Always staying there when we visit. Ambiance is great. Quiet and very clean rooms. Staff is amazing.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was so clean. Everything was in the room that you could possibly need. Great coffee and breakfast were available. Would most definitely stay here again. Thank you.
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The location was super convenient for our weekend activities, and the in-room kitchen helped us save money for some of our meals, as well as the complimentary breakfast, which was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. We stayed with our toddler, and the hotel was very family friendly. We will certainly be back!
My husband and I went to New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival and stayed at the Homewood Suites on Poydras for a week. Everything about our stay supported a great vacation. Our room had been updated since our last stay here and was lovely and very comfortable. This is a quiet, safe and well-run hotel. The employees here make you feel right at home. And the breakfast each morning had many choices...
Well located for exploring New Orleans A lot of extra features at a great price! Good breakfast included with the room.
No parking at the facility, you either have to go park on your own and they wont even tell you the cost of parking. They only offer valet parking at a fee that is almost half the price of the hotel. The staff was busy on their cell phones while serving at the desk and not even answering the door. Just horrible

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the parade route. The woman who makes the breakfast in the morning is a hard worker and deserves recognition and a bonus.
Basic, no frills hotel in a good location for the Garden, Wharehouse and Commercial Districts. Not too far a walk from the French Quarter and hopping on a trolley car is simplicity...one stops right outside. Not far from an excellent supermarket. Hotel had over booked so we were given a suit. I didn't even realize it at first because no one made a fuss. They fixed it without being prompted. Great Customer service and right on the trolley line.b Museums out the back door. Great place!
We stayed here for our family trip. It's within walking distance to the WWII museum. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary continental breakfast. Downside is the parking, no available parking but provide a discount at a near by parking garage. No issues for me and would return.
Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Geoff the concierge was so helpful before our trip. He kept us informed of the Hurricane's affect on New Orleans. Very pleasant stay here recently, the staff was very helpful, prompt and efficient. I had no issues on the trip, the location isn’t great, but within a few blocks there are interesting places and nice streetscapes. So, even though immediately around this property it isn’t particularly appealing, I did walk everywhere for several days and had a nice experience in NOLA.
Very Nice place to stay. Only a few blocks from Bourbon street. Rooms are a good size, very comfy king size bed, very clean and quite. Breakfast was great, fresh and tasty. Cynthia and Maria were lovely, keeping everything clean, tidy and keeping breakfast well stocked for all. Alicia was Great, giving us a few ideas of what to do while in New Orleans. Recommend a stay.
Rooms are a decent size.. bathroom is small. No dust bunnies in the corner of my room. Appliances worked. Maintenence responded super fast and he was awesome. Bordering the French quarters and very accessible from public transport options. Location wise, this is a great choice. Rooms are regulation and extremely compact. Decent selection of warm and cold options early in the day. Value...

This hotel is located on the trolley line on St. Charles so it's very convenient. They have a wonderful complimentary breakfast and the folks are friendly. The beds are clean and comfortable. Paint is off in some areas and there are carpet stains but it is New Orleans and some rooms...
It said on their Info that it came with free parking while you stayed there.. that was a lie. It was around 30 a day. Also it says it came with free breakfast.. It did not!! So I told the manager they need to update their website. She gave me 1 free breakfast. The Hotel could have been cleaner but besides that it was ok.
The St. Charles streetcar stops directly in front of the hotel, so getting around is easy. They offer private parking for $25/night but there's plenty of street parking right next to the hotel for free. The room was clean, the A/C was cold, and the beds were good.

It's a great location if you are wanting to be close to loyola and downtown. You can catch the trolley for a $1.25 and a 30 min ride. The building is older but well kept up. The pool is outside and the about the size of a bathtub. The rooms were Tiny for the price, but it was worth every penny.
Rooms were comfortable, friendly staff that was extremely accommodating and helpful, very good location, good food, good service, clean rooms, quality was very nice as well for everything. Highly recommend and would stay there again
One of the better Hampton Inns I have stayed at. Customer service was great. You heard staff thanking each other and working as a team. Room was clean and not rundown. Breakfast was very good. This was a historic older hotel in the French quarter. It's a block from Burbon St. So if you're trying to stay close to the craziness of Burbon St., this is a great place for you. We love Bienville House! We come here annually and it's fabulous every time. I stayed here twenty years ago and the way in which 612 illustrated the essence of new Orleans is without parallel. I'm sure it's changed since the first time a yellow taxi cab dropped me off at the front gate, to be met and greeted by Blake, who was the best host I could have imagined. I’ve stayed here several times and had nothing but great experiences. I love the location and really enjoy having some kitchen and living space compared to staying in a traditional hotel. When I’ve interacted with staff they were all lovely, they once even upgraded me to a 2bedroom unit from a studio, it was wonderful. I’m looking forward to my upcoming visit starting this Thursday!!
Great!! Incredible rooms and a PERFECT location! Only complaint is that the light fixture remotes are universal, so my light and fan kept changing based on other rooms clicking their remotes.

This is a great little hotel. The room is more like a one bedroom condo with kitchen living room and bedroom with a huge walk in closet. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a little gem in New Orleans. The room was amazing and put together well, and it is easily accessible via a parking lot behind the hotel. The employees were awesome to deal with, and anytime we needed anything they were there to help. If we visit New Orleans again, we would definitely stay here again.
This is an amazing place and the people are just wonderful. My family stayed here and had a blast. It's close to all the fun local things including the french market. 10/10
It's comfortable, clean, modern. Both pools are nice and clean. The swimming towels are a nice touch. And bang in the middle of possibly the best street in the city. The pictures are of a band that just rocked up and stopped the intersection with amazing music.
Was an amazing place to stay. Has some old building charm, great amount of space in rooms and clean, and is near a lot of restaurants and attractions. Staff was always so nice and helpful. Only downside is your in the heart of it all, and it the aound of music and patrons will loft into your room until the wee early hours of the morn. If your not a super light sleeper and like a place with character...
