Stayed in Ritz Carltons all over the world. Stayed two nights here with my adult daughter. Hardworking staff, poor management. This feels like a Marriot at best. Got a room facing Trade street- noisy but ok, it being the city- but also facing a bright LED sign advertising Spectrum taking up the entire length and width of the window from the room day and night. Felt like being in Tokyo, except the drapes did not cover the moving images at night. I immediately asked to change rooms, was told they'd get back to me. Next day, I checked again, desk said "computers are down, we'll get right back to you!". Nothing. Also didn't love that wifi is an added cost daily.

We just finished our overnight stay here for the second year in a row, it was amazing! The rooms are completely renovated and beautiful! The staff is very welcoming and nice! We’ll definitely be back next year!

The Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte is a good hotel for what it is. Charlotte is not a very fancy town and their Ritz-Carlton is certainly one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. Having said that, it probably shouldn’t be called a Ritz-Carlton because it does not hold a candle to many other Ritz-Carltons around the country. The hotel feels more like an upscale Marriott than a true Ritz-Carlton property. Nevertheless, I’d likely return next time I’m in Charlotte due to the paucity of luxury hotels in the city.

LOUD AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I am 6 months pregnant and have trouble sleeping. Was originally placed on 3rd floor directly in front of the street car stop (with no warning at check in). Between the road noise and the train, I was not able to sleep at all and was told there was no other room to switch to. Best they could offer was a sound machine (which I had already packed with me and used). The manager nicely had my room changed to the 6th floor the following day, which was slightly better but still extremely loud. For two days, I had NO sleep. I assumed the 6th floor was the only other available option, but as I later learned when someone else from my office checked in, they recieved a 14th floor room. Very upset in the way I was treated. I would think being 6 months pregnant would have garnered a little more sympathy but apparently not. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are a light sleeper, nor will I stay here again. I also learned that the hotel was under construction, which should be disclosed before booking.

stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts expecting a premium experience — what I got was a complete letdown. We were given Room 315, part of their “newly renovated” rooms, but it had a major issue: the AC was not working. The room sat at 78°F despite being set much lower. After multiple maintenance attempts and over an hour wasted, we were moved to Room 715. That room was at least cooler (set to 65, showing 71), but the problems didn’t end there. We didn’t check the new room thoroughly before going out for dinner. Upon returning, my wife and daughter discovered the TV didn’t work (no signal), and we were too exhausted to call at nearly 11 PM. The next morning, we found both bathroom sinks completely clogged, right before we had to leave for an early flight. Unacceptable. I had specifically asked the manager the night before to ensure we were moved to a room without any issues. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I’ve stayed at many Ritz-Carltons and this was by far the worst post-COVID experience I’ve had. The only positive note: Reka, the morning manager, was very understanding and offered to cover our stay. I declined, only asking that they do better going forward. Sadly, I won’t be returning to this property.

Hm, this did not seem like a 5-star hotel in the least. A spa retreat is supposed to be an escape. A reset. The good: The steam room. The singular digital shower with 270 spray heads. The facial. The men's side assistant. The not-so-good: The spa staff that was not trained nor naturally genuine, quite stiff (manager didn't hire the right people), to the massage that I felt like I was in trouble for not being able to loosen when I had explained I was there for a fatigued neck and legs from backpacking(additionally appt was at 18:00, was told I would be fetched at 17:55, was hastily fetched at 18:03 and had 3-5minutes of eval, and was risen at 19:00 promptly, very unfortunate), the "relaxation room" which was SO COLD and furniture that my 154cm husband couldn't fit on without legs hanging off (i'm 175cm and it felt like childrens furniture), to the cold, albeit heated, pool, surrounding by the same mini-furniture and birds of paradise potters that needed attention and an ambient room temperature at 18C, the dry sauna that doubtly went above 65C. The gym, whilst well equipped was VERY cramped with all of the aforementioned well-equipped equipment. Too much in that space. TLDR: If you are looking for a spa in that area, find a spa that specializing in being a spa. This was a real letdown. -$600.

We stay at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte at least once every year and we always experience an exceptional stay. The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious and well appointed and the team at this hotel really goes above and beyond. No detail is missed and they do a great job recognizing Marriott Bonvoy status and anticipating ways to make the stay extra special. We will always return to this beautiful property.

We just stayed here last night on our way to Charleston, so we really didn’t get to experience much of the hotel. However, we absolutely LOVED our night at the Ritz! The Parlor Suite with the adjoining room felt like more of a fancy condo than a hotel room! 24 hour room service was a nice surprise, which we took advantage of for dinner and breakfast. The valet and front desk staff was very attentive and were more than accommodating with taking our luggage to the room and parking our truck. All of the staff were very friendly and the hotel seemed recently renovated and impeccably clean! Would definitely love to spend a couple more nights here sometime in the future!

Never go to this place. I was here yesterday to watch the Ohio State football game. New to Charlotte someone told me this was the place to go. I got there at 1030. I got one of the last places to sit, it was over by the lanes. The game started and as I was watching some people came in and rented the lane. No not to bowl but to watch the game. They were late and didn't have a place to sit.So they rented the lane and then came over and told us we would have to move. Wow what low life would do something like this just because they were late. It would have been different if they were there to bowl!!! But no they were there for the same reason I was to watch a game. I didn't realize that people could be so rude.
I'm new to the area coming from Ohio. Not realizing how many rude people there are in the world. But I have to say since coming down here I have realized that most must live in Charlotte. Not just this one visit to watch the game but many things. The driving around here, the crime around here, the general lack of people having respect for other humans.
I'm glad to have come, but even happier I have decided to leave. I will watch the news from Ohio, it's only a matter of time before more stuff happens like it did a year ago down here.
People that go to this place are rude and the management here fits right in. I recommend this place to all the people of Charlotte they will fit in, rude people seem to be everywhere here!!!!!!!! And to the rude women Saturday, I hope you get yours.

Ugh avoid. Cost over $50 for four people to play ONE GAME. There was a guy who worked there who stared at us the whole time looking threatening. Would have possibly bought another overpriced game had that guy not been staring a hole through us. If he had a problem idk why he didn't just talk to us, weird! Do yourself a favor, do anything other than this in the Charlotte area, there are much cooler places. If you want bowling to go the suburbs, much cheaper!!!

Very poor experience. We had four children with us, 4,5,6&8. 1) - We requested bumpers when we paid and checked in. I followed up four times at the front desk because our bumpers never poped up. There was always an excuse and the problem was never fixed. 2) - The restrooms were discusting (#2 in all toilets) and zero paper towels to dry out hands. 3) - We had to send the food back because it was burned (for instance the pretzels were black) not even sure how that happens. Upon departing, management did offer to provide us a gift card. I refused...still had fun with the kids, just wish this place was ran better. I know it's a bowling alley, but keep your expectations very low if you decide to go there.

We came in with a group of 10. Nikki was an amazing server. Food was good! Bowling lanes were neat with TVs at the end. Fun silly birthday spot. Food prices are cheap!

Very Nice Establishment Decoration wise... Then there's service, TERRIBLE, DESPICABLE, ATROCIOUS I ordered simple CHICKEN and Ribs. Instead they bring me Ribs only. I address and assess the problem, the waitress blatantly admits it was her mistake and she clicked the wrong button and will fix it. Wait an additional 15 minutes to get the meal I ordered, once I get the missing chicken EVERYTHING else is COLD. Once I ask for the check THEY OVERCHARGE me for the rib plate instead of what I actually ordered. I won't tell you not to go here, but read this review and make your own Educated decision

Went in to eat dinner last night before the Hornets game. We were seated 15-20 minutes before our server came. Two other servers kept walking by. When we finally got to order I went to order the brisket and the server said not to because it wasn’t very good since they didn’t have a smoker. I appreciate the honesty of the server but why have something on the menu for $16 that you can’t make well. 10 minutes later and still no drinks at the table. We walked out and went to Firehouse because we didn’t have time at that point to sit down anywhere else. I have only walked out of a place once before and that was a Dennys. Maybe this place should stick to being a late night bar and not advertise “lunch and dinner”.

Terrible communication/customer service with staff AND managers. Staff memebers lied about their names STEVEN/DAMON and are extremely disrespectful. They also favor individuals by race, four white women went through the exit door to Avoid standing in a long line for the entrance, I followed them in as the guy Damon, stamped their hands with the red circle while flirting. I turned around for one minute to look at my phone and the guy said he wasn’t letting anyone in. I told him what I had just seen including waiting for The bouncer to come back with a stamp from the front, he claimed that they worked there yet didn’t know any of their names. I said how don’t you know at least one name like come on, better yet why would they need stamps to get in you don’t have a stamp, your partner doesn’t have a stamp, and the manager certainly didn’t have one either. I demanded to speak to a manager and asked for his name he and his partner lied about both their names. I spoke to the manager Chris as he stated one of the guys didn’t understand English, which was a lie I watched as he flirted with all four girls as he waited for his partner for the stamp. Chris claim he would talk to both of them after the night was over with. In other words he acted like he could care less about the incident and continued to stand at the entrance.

Stopped in from out of town. Caught some college football. Got our drinks quickly and the staff was very friendly. As far as the waitress attire, Hooters is way worse, if your offended by beautiful girls bodies. They wore tshirts and Jean shorts. Just like any other sports bar. Didn't get food. So. This was just a review of the atmosphere. Good time. We will come back for sure.
