Ramada by Wyndham New Braunfels in New Braunfels

Over all this place from Dirty. The bathroom was dirty and in bad repair. The bath tub was slippery. The towel rack was broken with the bar hanging down. The beds were uncomfortable. The free breakfast was not bad but I've had much better at other hotels. The swimming pool sloped off way to quick with a very limited shallow end under 5'.

We booked a room for 4 adults, 2 Queen Beds, for 2 nights. We arrive to a room with what was either the smallest queen beds in existence or quite possibly they were really just 2 double beds. Each bed had 3 pillows, those lovely travel sized pillows that at the end of a long drive you want to forget about while you rest your head upon a soft and luxurious hotel pillow.

The bathroom had 2 towels for 4 adults which the front desk did remedy by providing us with additional towels when we walked down with our request for more. The bathroom also had interesting decor, it had huge spots where the paint had chipped off along the door frame that added to the rustic appeal. The TV was the perfect size for the small room with small beds and small pillows.

There were some slightly entertaining guests that were kind enough to share their conversation with the rest of us. We were also gifted with a couple of random stalker type men who seemed to be rather fond of one of the members of our group while she tried to chat on the phone during a stroll around the place.

The bar is now closed for good, you can book it though if needed, they had their last open night this past Saturday while we were there. The hotel and our room was fairly clean for such an old hotel, the pool was decent enough, and it is in a very convenient location.

While we paid as much for our two nights here as we have paid for much higher end hotels, this one gave us memories we will never be able to forget! If you’re looking for a place to drunkenly crash and have a simple generic breakfast to calm your hangover...book here!

Our room was so run down and dirty.
holes in the walls. The shower was nasty and dirty floors. Hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. Grease on head boards. I don’t think the walls have ever been wiped down. The people next to us were selling drugs out of their room. It was worst. We originally booked for 3 nights but checked out the very next morning. We only stayed the first night because it was so late and had my elderly mother with us.
