If you are looking for a nice practical hotel in a walkable location this one is for you. It is more retro than fancy, but a great vibe for Austin. The staff was great and loved the free Lone Star at check-in.

Great hotel. We just had a recent visit and all went well. Only down fall is now they charge for parking which they do not last time. $25 a night. I feel like they charge enough to not have to charge for parking.

This hotel was so really. Check-in we were offered water and root beer. The fire pits were going which was perfect as the first cold night came in the night before. There were s’more kits available too. The shopping area was convenient. The parking lot was lit and safe. Food truck available mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend.

We adore this hotel and try to stay there whenever we are in Austin. It’s beautiful, they have well designed facilities and amenities throughout, it’s super clean and everyone is very nice. We really love the court yard with the pool, fire pits and outdoor seating and the beautiful balconies overlooking it. This is one of the coolest hotels in the area. We highly recommend it

They charged me over $228 for mini bar when all we took was a beer. Even the beer was taken off because of the AC issue we experienced. So when we checked out the lady at the front desk said all we had to pay was for the room which was going to be $278. Then later in the day they send me an additional invoice for $228 for mini bar. I called them and was able to get it sorted but I am not sure how something like this would happen.

Wonderful property. Lovely room. Full size fridge is a major plus. Close to major restaurants. Food truck area is fantastic. Only thing missing is microwave in room or a common area. Otherwise a great stay.

The hotel was unique. The breakfast was slow because of limited personnel. The biggest disappointment was the a/c in my room. I couldn’t set the temperature. It seemed to be permanently set at 75 degrees and alternating between what I set and the “permanent” setting through out the night. The room was too warm overall. When I mentioned the issue when checking out I got a luke warm response—didn’t seem to take it too seriously.

Excellent chic hotel convenient to great shopping and dining. Also convenient to various roads that can get you to anywhere in the Austin area fairly quickly.

A little different from authentic Japanese dish. I ordered chirashi sushi, which is very tipical Japanese dish. The rice was too hard, no sushi vinegar in it, fish slices are about twice thick, no wasabi and pickled ginger served.

The food was fantastic but service was awful. They werent busy and our server was not attentive. When we DID see him, our food and drinks came out quickly because they weren't busy and the bar and kitchen whipped it out fast.

I came here during happy hour, food was okay but the service was just plain horrible. A white blonde female with tattoos was our waiter and was very rude. I'd ask her questions over the food but she would just ignore and make ugly gestures. I will not be coming back to this place!

Very slow lunch service. We waited 30mins to have our orders taken while all the waiters hanged out. Food is usually good, but today the rice was old, the rolls were poorly made, and the cucumber was not peeled. When our drinks were brought, the cupes were dirty and had pieces of dried napkins on the I side. I ha e had poor experiences at this location, but this one has been the worst
