The hotel Emma is one of the finest hotels in the nation. It has a unique atmosphere of repurposing a brewery into a boutique hotel. What especially made the business meeting that I hosted memorable was the engaging staff from the initial check-in reception. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and engaging without being overbearing. It is one of the nicest meeting locations. I've been exposed to. I would highly recommend this hotel for business events.

Mercedes is the best waitress at Supper, and Supper is the best restaurant in all of San Antonio. I’ve been to Supper many times before but this is the best experience I’ve ever had. The attentiveness, detail to the food presentation, even making us a “special” cappuccino that tasted 10 times better than the regular cappuccino. Ask for Mercedes when you visit Supper, it will elevate your experience!

I booked a Landmark Room for meetings, but was given a different basic room and did not match my reservation. During check-in, I was also asked to return to the desk to place a hold on my card and was charged directly despite booking through Capital One. When I raised the room issue, the response felt dismissive and I was told to contact Capital One. After driving from Austin, this was very disappointing. The valet team, however, was excellent.

Rooms were excellent, food exceptional. Facilities for our business meetings were very spacious, acoustics great and the meals at conference room were hot and delicious.

I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was not the greatest. Let me break it down into two parts though:

1. Service - The service was amazing, we had a bigger group our server was very accommodating to all the various requests we could throw at him. If this was rated on service alone, it'd be a 5.

2. Food - So I'll admit, it is a steakhouse for the most part, but it was lunch and I didn't want to spend $50-$100 on steak for lunch. So instead I went for the Reuben. The description sounded amazing 'House made pastrami, bread and butter pickles, gruyere, etc.' This was a $15 sandwhich, from a place that seems to specialize in steak/meat I figured it'd be awesome.

I was completely wrong. If you like beef jerky between 2 pieces of bread, this sandwich is up your alley. The pastrami was so rough, when I bit into the sandwich it just all came out onto the plate. From there you could not chew it, you'd be lucky cut a piece with your steak knife and chew it for 20 minutes.

Everything else looked pretty good, but if you're gonna put a $15 sandwich on the menu and boast about your house made Pastrami, take a taste first. No one wants carboard between 2 slices of bread.

Was here about 2 weeks ago during Sunday brunch. The male host was nice & got me seated outside very quickly. There was a guy playing some cool music outside next to the seating area which was nice. The entire meal was rushed by the female server though. It was to the point that I felt uncomfortable. I understand the need or want to have more tables but the servers should have some kind of tact or at least attempt to be smooth about it, not rush the customers then half ass say "oh sorry, I'm not trying to rush you" but you really are and not even in a smooth way. Not sure if anything can be done about the amount of flies in the area. I've sat outdoors in other places but there were so many flies in the outdoor area while we were trying to eat. We kept having to scare them off.

Best brunch in San Antonio! Service was great and the food was even better! A fun and unique dining experience. My family and I will definitely be returning!

Fantastic service and food. We stopped in late in the evening and they weren't too busy. They have a great selection of wine and Texas whiskies. The shrimp and bacon small plate was fantastic as well as their scallops. Their service was great and the waiter was attentive. The food came our quickly and they use additional staff to ensure the food comes out quickly. Definitely recommend reservations on a busy night such as Friday or Saturday evenings.

I haven't been inside, but I tried to go to the bathroom and they only had one co ed bathroom. Other than that the place is great! Best barbacoa sandwich I've ever had. Hands down! Went for brunch and was satisfied. I would recommend this place for a good brunch. Took off a star because of the bathroom issue. Other than that food is amazing and the restaurant is great!

Delicious food, portions are very street food size with restaurant prices- which was not quite sufficient. Flavor was wonderful, drinks delicious. I have been here on more than one occasion and know I'll need to order extra helpings and sides.

We have been coming to La Gloria for some time and we always have great employees who always go the extra mile to make you feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, it's great for a family or just a date. Best food and Great Customer service what else could we ask for... The mole is delisoso, (delicious)

If you're reading other reviews that are negative or complaining about portion size, IGNORE them. You get 3 tacos with an order for $6-8 and one order feels like a big appetizer. The food is flavorful, comes out SUPER fast and is well presented. The ambiance is unique. The inside opens up to a large outdoor patio that looks over a river park. Beautiful! If you want inexpensive food & above average priced drinks in a place worth going to with 2-4 people, check it out.

Always a nice spot to come and hang out. It's more suited for the Tourists at the brewery and those visiting one of their favorite cities again for Tex-Mex food. The inside or outside sitting is spacious except when it is booked. The food is great the service is good... Of course it's always better when there's not so many people.

Very friendly upscale BBQ joint. Overpriced and catering to Pearl shoppers, this place is really hit or miss. I planned to order the two meat plate of turkey and brisket, but they were out of turkey (at 11:30 am???), so I opted for chicken. The portions were almost ridiculously small. The brisket was ok, but required sauce. The chicken was simply some bits of meat pulled off a leg - could have easily been a child's portion.

The sides were supposed to be potato salad and coleslaw. I thought two salads was a weird selection, so I replaced the slaw with beans. That was a good idea as the slaw (I tasted my dining partner's) was a watery tasteless mess. The potato salad and beans, however, were the best part of the meal.

Do skip the pastrami sandwich. Horrible and salty, it was a poor excuse for a Reuben. All in all, this place has potential, but I'll go elsewhere to BBQ for now.

Love the decor and ambience. I got the ramen which was good but I probably wouldn’t get again. The Texas toast was probably my favorite thing we tried due to the butter. The bread pudding was good and the buttermilk chess pie was excellent.

Disappointed. Went for our 23rd anniversary. The duck was not close to the best I've had. The recipe for the mole needs help.
The waiter was good. Showed interest as to why I practically left the entire portion of duck. Wife enjoyed her dish so it was a partial win. I agreed to pay for the entire meal.
I think this was my last visit. There are so many great places to eat that we passed on.

Attentive staff, lovely ambience & outstanding cuisine. The attention to detail is superb! "Fried Green Tomatoes" while seasonal is life changing & every fish course is consistently amazing. My husband favors the IPA & exclaimed over the "Pork Chop" stating it was the best he's ever eaten! "Keylime Pavlova" & Madeira to finish our meal was perfection.

First, the order, 2 meats (smoked chicken and brisket), 2 sides (beans and coleslaw), and a house Root beer. This smelled fantastic and the service was pretty good. Second, the food, was unfortunately, the downfall. The smoked chicken lacked any smoke flavor and the skin was...rubbery. The brisket was decent but lacked that salty/buttery flavor from the fat. The sides where pretty poor too. Coleslaw was watery and the beans were...there. The root beer and sliced bread were the best part of the meal but the root beer was only slightly above average. At $20 w/tax for the whole meal I'll move on to better Texas BBQ.
