Our recently renovated carriage house studio is located in one of DC's best neighborhoods, just two... blocks from bustling 14th Street (Logan Circle), 17th Street (Dupont Circle), and U Street. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and stores within a couple of blocks. It's also close to downtown DC with the White House about a mile away and the National Mall close by! Our studio is the perfect location for visiting friends, sightseeing, and exploring all that DC has to offer.
There are several bus stops nearby, two separate metro/subway stations that are each about a ten-minute walk, and multiple Capital Bikeshare stations a couple of blocks in all directions.
You access the carriage house studio via the alley behind our home. You enter through the garage by entering a garage door code. The studio is on the second floor. It is one large room with a kitchenette.
The kitchenette has a mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, hot plate, Keurig, and drip coffee maker. The studio itself has several windows, A/C, heat, a ceiling fan, ample closet space, and a combo washer & dryer. The full bathroom is in a separate room.
Please note that the studio has a steeper than normal staircase to enter and exit. The stairwell has a handrail and is well lit. The backyard courtyard cannot be used.
For the streets closest to the carriage house, we can provide you a free parking permit that allows you to park nearby in all areas marked as Zone 2 parking. In order to receive a permit, you can send us your state, license plate number, and make/color of your car. We will print you a copy of the permit that you can leave on the dashboard.
Please note that the parking permit is only valid on the surrounding streets and is not valid in all of DC. Please also pay close attention to street sweeping signs to avoid tickets. While the carriage house is located in one of DC’s safest neighborhoods, please do not leave anything visible in your car.
For public transportation, nearby there are bus stops, two metro/subway stations, multiple Capital Bikeshare stations, rentable electric scooters & bikes, and plenty of Ubers/Lyfts/taxis. Although you're close to one of D.C.'s best parks, access to a convenient outdoor space comes with your new home. The patio is furnished with a couch, seats, and even a BBQ grill. Grab a chilled drink from the kitchen's wine cooler and enjoy an evening on the patio under the cozy decorative lights.

Location really does matter. This modern street level, 2 bathroom walk up apartment was fully... renovated in 2015 leaving original architectural details of this Victorian era row home like hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. The bedrooms each have a queen bed and en suite bathrooms making this an ideal situation for privacy. Walk out the door and start your journey down the hip Logan's Circle restaurant row with endless choices in decadent food and eclectic shopping. Don't forget to stop at Ms. Pixies!

Parties or Events
Quiet Enjoyment We love a good time—but we also love our peace and quiet! Parties and events aren’t allowed, and all of our homes have decibel readers that help us monitor for loud noise (don’t worry—they don’t record anything). If we receive a report about excessive noise or gatherings, a team member may check in, and your reservation could be canceled without refund. Thanks for helping us keep things serene for our neighbors and other guests!

Security Notice
All Sojourn properties are equipped with exterior security cameras, including coverage of entryways and common areas that are recording at all times. These are used for guest safety, property protection, and in some cases to ensure compliance with local city regulations. There are no interior cameras inside any of our homes.

Plumbing Etiquette — What Not to Flush or Dispose
Please only flush toilet paper—no wipes, feminine products, or anything else. And avoid putting grease or non-food items down the drain or garbage disposal.
Plumbing repairs can be expensive, and we’d hate to have to pass that cost along to you!

Linens & Care
At Sojourn, we provide luxury linens of the highest quality for your comfort.

We kindly ask that you help us care for them by following these guidelines. Do not use towels or bedding for cleaning, makeup removal, hair dye or any other activities that could permanently stain the linens. If linens are found to be permanently stained or damaged, we will request reimbursement for the cost of replacement.

No Fireworks
For your safety and to comply with local regulations, fireworks—including sparklers—are strictly prohibited at all Sojourn properties..

Pet Etiquette
We’re delighted to welcome your furry companions at this pet-friendly property. To keep our homes clean and comfortable for all guests, please observe the following:

Always clean up after your pet—indoors and outdoors.

Dispose of waste in appropriate bins and avoid leaving messes in common or shared areas.
Excessive pet hair, stains, or odors may result in additional cleaning charges.

If our team arrives to find that pet waste has not been properly cleaned up or additional cleaning is required due to your pet, a $75 cleaning fee may be assessed.

We kindly ask that you help us care for them by following these guidelines. Property Access & Maintenance
From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)
Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Parking Information
This property does not have on-site parking, but we’re happy to help you explore nearby options. Please reach out if you’d like guidance on public street parking, city permits, or reserving a nearby space. As with all parking, please note it is used at your own risk and we are not responsible for theft, damage, or incidents involving your vehicle.

To keep things fresh and comfortable for all guests, smoking (including cigarettes, marijuana, and vaping) is not allowed inside the home or within 50 feet of the building—including outdoor spaces. If smoke is reported or detected, we may need to end your stay, apply a $500 cleaning fee, and report the issue to the booking platform. We hope you understand—it’s all about keeping the space pleasant for everyone.

About this space
Spotlessly clean, comfortable, family-friendly and roomy apartment with a private... entrance. We offer 2 bedrooms with queen beds, pull out sofa, inflatable bed, a fold-up padded cushion bed for children, a portable crib, and a wall of toys for the kids! The full bathroom is accessible via the main BR and the living space. Close to Medstar Washington Hospital Center, restaurants, shops, & the Metro. Quick trips to the White House, the National Mall, museums, universities and Nats Park!

Our classic Wardman-style DC Rowhome is located in the vibrant Petworth neighborhood of Washington,... DC and serves as the perfect jumping point for exploring the city. We are a quick 9 minute walk to the metro (93 walk score) and have tons of bus, bike, street parking, and uber/lyft options readily available.
NOTE: Absolutely NO parties or events are permitted in this space.
Over the last several years, we have lovingly restored this 100+ year old home. With many original features still in tact (transom windows, skylights, custom doorways and window frames, original door handles, etc.) we hope you enjoy its timelessness and character as much as we do, and give it as much care as we have!
Come and go easily using our private entrances along with a fully automated check-in process.
THE SPACE:
In the basement you will find two bedrooms; one is furnished with a queen bed and the other with twin bunks. There is a living room area equipped with TV and futon, a newly renovated bathroom with full sized washer/dryer set, a separate workspace with desk and chair, and kitchenette (mini fridge, coffee maker, sink, and microwave) for small meal prep/coffee making!
On the main level of the home you will find a spacious and welcoming living room, dining area, sunroom, half bath, and full kitchen - perfect for relaxing with loved ones after a long day of sightseeing! The kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The sunroom has a futon and air mattress for extra sleeping space!
Upstairs you will find 3 full bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and walk-in closet, as well as an en suite full bathroom equipped with a shower, double sinks, and soaking tub (original to the home!). The second and third bedrooms have queen sized beds and share a jack-and-jill bathroom. One of the rooms has a small office off of it for those that need to get some work done, as well. The other, a cozy chair for reading that expands for additional sleeping space if needed.
Fresh towels and bed linens will always be provided, as will basic soaps, shampoo, and conditioner.
OUTSIDE:
Enjoy the front porch furnished with rocking chairs! Off the back of the house, you will find a nice deck that leads down to a fully enclosed, private backyard. There is an additional patio space on the yard level and a secluded and private 4-6 person HOT TUB available for use under the deck!
PARKING:
While we do not have private parking on site, street parking is free and readily available.
HOUSE RULES:
1. Absolutely NO parties or events are permitted in this space. Please be respectful of our neighbors; no loud noises between 10pm and 8am.
2. To reiterate, Quiet Hours are from 10pm to 8am every day of the week.
3. No additional guests (anyone not listed on the reservation and included in the total guest count) unless otherwise communicated and agreed on. If this rule is violated and more guests are present on the property without the host’s knowledge and permission, a fee of $25 per person per day will be assessed. This rule is meant to prevent any dishonest behavior by all parties, to prevent any extra wear and tear on the property, and most importantly, to keep everyone safe.
4. No smoking on premises of any kind (vaping included). While DC has legalized marijuana, we are NOT a 420 friendly space and do not permit its use in our home or property, including smoking outside. Smoking in the home will result in a $500 fee.
5. If staying with a pet, there will be a pet fee ($75). Please give advance notice with description of pet. No cats allowed!
6. Hot tub is available for use but safety rules must be followed:
★ Keep hot tub covered when not in use
★ Do NOT allow children to use the hot tub unsupervised
★ No more than 4-6 people in the hot tub at a time.
★ Owners are not liable for any damage or injuries
