The gym is INCREDIBLE! Probably best hotel gym 🏋️‍♀️ I've ever experienced. The rooms were nice and clean but I found the bed and pillows extremely uncomfortable. Maybe it is just me but that was the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars.
Call it an A-. It's a nice hotel and a Great location, but there's nothing more special about this than the other dozen hotels that are surrounding it. I didn't find a lot of amenities and it's more set up as a business hotel. I will say that the staff was exceptional. From the cleaning staff to the front desk clerks to the Bell desk, all of them were very friendly and attentive and worked very hard...
Awesome hotel, great rooms, but the staff is not at par with those qualities. I stayed here many times for major conferences/shows held at the adjacent conference center. Nightly rates are a fortune around those events. You expect smiling, attentive staff who are responsive to your requests and preferences when you are paying an outrageous nightly rate, but at the DC Marquis, I have been very frequently...
Two night stay for work conference. Staff was great, professional and friendly. The food provided as part of our company conference was good overall. The room was comfortable, nothing stood out from other hotel rooms. The bar is nice, had a few drinks there, very friendly bartenders! Enjoyed my stay! Walking distance to several bars and restaurants.
If the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC were a person at a conference, it would be that polished executive who owns every room, knows exactly when to smile, and somehow still squeezes in networking at 3 a.m. Location: Absolutely Strategic Let’s start with the great news: this place is smack in the heart of downtown DC. You’re walking distance from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the Smithsonian...
I stayed at the Marriott Marquis Washington for four nights and found it to be a traditional, full-service hotel offering a fairly standard experience. While the overall stay was comfortable, there were a few aspects worth noting. Service: I requested a blanket and a kettle, and while the items were eventually delivered, it took nearly an hour, which felt a bit slow for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast...

It is a Hilton, but not as nice as others you may have experienced because it is seriously dated. For starters, just let me say we had a fine time, but we had to acclimate to the reality of the claim that the hotel was conveniently right between two metro stops - it really isn't. You can walk to the Dupont Circle with little to no trouble, but walking back is up hill all the way which could cause...
As a Hilton Honors member I trust the Hilton Quality standards worldwide and never had so far a disappointing experience until now. The Washington Hilton is well located and the overall facility is nice. But the level of cleanness on the floors is below average, and for the very first time I see the housekeeping just putting fresh towels in the room and a plastic bag with coffee supplies, without doing...
The room was so clean and good..Im pretty sure we will book here again in our next visit in washington..
I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Washington. The bed is very comfortable with high-quality bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is spacious and well equipped; although some of the equipment is a bit outdated, it still works well and gets the job done. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice and elegant hotel with full facilities inside, including a restaruant, a bar, a coffee shop/grocery, and even gift shop. Would come to stay here again if come back to Washington.
I love the place. It’s convenient and easy access to tourist spots in the town.

Beautiful venue. Great for the conference I was attending. Screens could be seen at the back of the room. Staff was very attentive. However, the hotel room was very cold even when the thermostat was reading 78. Great for sleeping, but not for sitting. Also, the valet took over 20 minutes to get my car when I was leaving. They seemed to be understaffed there while overstaffed or appropriately...
I was there during the day to attend a convention. The hotel us lovely and welcoming. There were rooms for panel discussions. The checking in was very easy and easy to find our room where the panel discussion would take place. At lunch time I ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. Because I was part of the convention, they gave...
The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The conference rooms were mostly fine, but sometimes cold and the pillars created line of site issues for screens and speakers. The room refreshes were thorough. Finding the conference rooms was sometimes confusing. Overall, the hotel was a great location with lots of food options nearby and a quick walk to the zoo. Great location!
Gorgeous gardens!!! Always love this hotel. Its the second convention I have done and stayed in for. The breakfast is amazing, just the best I have ever had at a hotel. Its on the concierge level. There is a sauna, which is great, but one of the highest perks is the vintage decor throughout many wings of the place and the overall fantastic job at decorating and apportioning rooms. Plus...most important...
Stay one night at the hotel and it was not too bad. So lets start with the check in. I arrived about 2 hours early before the given time for check in and was able to get to my room early. The room was a nice size and up to standard of clean. I was worried due to others review comments but I can say that I notice no weird stains or no bed bugs. The only downfall with the room was that out of 5 power...
The location is great and easily accessible. The lobby is very nice and large with a nice bar area. The rooms in the central tower are fine - a bit dated and old. Glad to have a mini fridge though, and overall very quiet. Nice new TV in the room.

I had the absolute best time hanging out by the pool and a massive shout out to Lidiya Abel and Tonica. They were working so hard but still made sure everyone felt completely.Make sure everyone completely taken care of the drinks were absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly fast and attentive. Honestly, they’re amazing energy and friendly vibes. Totally made my pool day if you’re staying...
We had a lovely overnight stay at the Omni Shoreham after an event at the hotel. We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet room. The best part came shortly after checkout. I realized I had left an item in our room so we called and spoke to Linda on the phone. She went to our room, got the item, and met me in the lobby to give it to me. That is great service!
Beautiful hotel and clean rooms. Great location. Very friendly staff upon checking in. This gets three stars because on three separate occasions we requested extra pillows. Once at the front desk, once calling the front desk from the room and once with housekeeping. This request was ignored all three times. We never got the pillows. Upon checking out when we explained were just really disappointed...
If the place I travel to has an Omni, that’s the only hotel I stay at. This weekend, I traveled to DC and, as always, booked my stay with Omni. The hotel has a lot of character and is located close to all the sightseeing spots. And as always, the best employees work here. I want to give a special shoutout to the front desk manager, John Alfonzo. Not only was he incredibly nice and hospitable, but...
Fantastic place with excellent service. My only complaint and it is minor is how far a convenience location like a Walgreens would be and that isn't even the Omni's fault. The driveway while it is a bit of a nuisance to pull into it's not that much of a chore. The hotel itself is exquisite it is beautiful edifice filled with beautiful rooms. Each hallway itself is lovely. The bar and its service...

Great room. Clean hotel. Such nice staff. Only thing we didn’t like was the $20 you had to spend on the property every day.
It was far more difficult getting a final invoice from the hotel than it should have been, the complication being between on-site and pre-paid charges that should have been sorted out immediately rather than take days of follow-up.
Great stay. Definitely worth it. Great location. I received a $20 credit for the restaurant and bar
My son and I had an exceptional stay at The Westin Downtown DC. The hotel is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and delivers a truly elevated experience from start to finish. Every detail reflects quality, comfort, and professionalism. During our stay, we had a small matter that needed to be addressed, and Brett Haduch, the manager, went above and beyond to resolve it. His professionalism, attentiveness...

Overall a great stay. Everything you come to expect from Marriott. Great beds, excellent service and perks. Unbeatable location. The only negative is the always dirty and severely stained front entrance and carpet. Being that it’s your first impression when you walk in, it definitely takes away from the experience.
Comfort, luxury, and calm all wrapped into one. The service was impeccable. Room was serene, and thoughtfully designed! Exactly what you’d want after a full day in the city. The energy of the hotel itself felt special and undeniably DC. I walked in expecting a great stay… and they delivered seamlessly.
Exceptional Hotel Experience – A Must-Stay in DC! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the JW Marriott Washington, DC was truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the service provided by the entire team—including the reception, the concierge/doormen, and the housekeeping staff—was outstanding. It is absolutely worth it to become an Elite Member; the perks and recognition elevate the entire experience....
I’m surprised that this hotel is rated as well as it is. The conference I attended was well organized and the staff dedicated to that experience were great. The stay itself? Yikes. No hair dryer to be found, no fan in the bathroom, the walls are paper thin, my digital key took 5-6 swipes each time I wanted to enter my room (validated this with 3 different keys), the wifi is slower than molasses (and...
Interior facing room is noisy with a hum, but outside facing rooms was great. Valet parking extremely expensive - would recommend trying to park elsewhere
It's an older hotel, and the facilities are just so-so. The service is good and the staff are very enthusiastic. But the soundproofing is really bad, it's outrageous. You can hear people talking in the corridor

Great location and facilities, would choose again next time.
Room was good, staff were pleasant, but the hotel has an air of not being in great shape - as if they were simply going through the motions. The service at the restaurant was terribly slow and disorganized.
Not happy with the check out, they charged me the full price for 2 rooms which I already paid for. it took time for them to correct the mistake and made me wait
Elegant, classy, warm and welcoming. i was warmly greeted and the concierge introduced himself by name, and said if I needed anything, he was there for me.
This stay was a complicated experience. The hotel is popular, but the service response is really not up to par. There is a long queue for check-in and check-out. The room request cannot be processed in time, which makes people anxious. The lighting design of the room is unreasonable. There are only floor lamps and table lamps, which are dim at night. And there is no drinking water, which is too inconvenient...
My wife and I recently visited DC for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and Logan went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and we loved the rich history surrounding the place. Rooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and full of character. We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Logan and the entire team for making our trip memorable

I booked this room at the last minute because my flight was delayed. The room was decent, and the breakfast was average. They offered a shuttle service to Reagan Airport.
A good one for business travel
The air conditioner is so loud
Apart from the friendly staff, there is nothing good about the hotel. The room is old and does not feel particularly clean.

Overall experience in Hilton Capital was Perfect. A little inconvenience was we are travelling with the 1yo and that no kettle and the drinking water bottle is only collectible from Front Desk.
The location is excellent, just a 6-7 minute walk from the White House. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. Breakfast was also quite good.
Great hotel. Fabulous location. Staff were so friendly, especially Jef on the front desk - amazing guy! Definitely would recommend
The room size is just right, the facilities and amenities are of high quality, and the location is excellent. The lobby features a large coffee bar, a coffee and pastry shop, and a convenience/souvenir store.
The room was incredibly spacious and quiet. The location was superb, offering easy access to all tourist attractions and excellent public transport links. The hotel bar had a wide selection, and the food was also delicious.

Room was clean and the bed was super comfy. The restaurant downstairs had good food and atmosphere. Gym was decent with some newer machines and some weights. In a good part of DC.
Staff was v friendly, and the location was excellent but unfortunately there was a very bad smell like sewage in our room during our stay which was not ideal.
The room was very nice. The lobby bar and restaurant were also very nice.
The check in was quick and easy! Front desk personnel charming, quick and attentive. The rooms were well presented and maintained throughout the visit. The location is great, you can walk to nearby museums, restaurants and or shopping! Sorry, I didn’t take any photos or videos, I was too busy having fun.
The hotel itself is great – the rooms were clean, the location convenient, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. It was at a prime location and room was very clean!
The staff make this hotel five stars-worthy. Eric and Jared (?) at the front desk were wonderful and friendly. I don't envy their jobs given how crazy some hotel guests are. These guys manage to keep their cool and still give stellar customer service with a smile. I just wish that every hotel guests would treat all hotel staff with the respect and compassion that they deserve. Folks are just trying...
This hotel had a lot of nice details, decent rooms and great service except for a few issues. 1. There was a roach next to the mini-fridge. 2. The food was dry and was not seasoned well 3. The view was bad. All we saw was the tops of buildings. 4. The hotel wasn’t very kid-friendly. It was trying to hard to be fancy, authentic or old-fashioned. 5. Some spots in our room didn’t look all that clean
This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located. You may use their valet parking for overnight, but i thought it was a bit expensive (almost $60 per night), so i found a parking garage for $35 for 24 hrs, 3 blocks away. They allowed me to take the car out several times, which was9 perfect to go for dinner and Museums. The surrounding areas are nice and safe. Highly recommended.

This hotel was awful. It charges a $35 per night “amenity” fee, hijacked via your incidentals deposit upon checking in. So called “amenities” do not include coffee in the room (it’s $6/cup in the lobby) or even bottled water. Pool was closed, gym was mid at best. Best advice: steer clear.
Coffee was not served until 7:30 AM, which as a hotel next to one of the main travel hubs in a downtown location where people are going to work is a little crazy. There was also nowhere to get coffee/breakfast near by other than the hotel. Front desk also sent us to the wrong room at first which caused us to go back downstairs. They are minor inconveniences, but added to the annoyance of our trip.
I have stayed at Yotel on 3 separate occasions and this last stay was my favorite! Everyone was kind, helpful, and friendly. The room and common space areas (lobby and downstairs bathroom) were spotless. It was a good vibe that was refreshing. And the location and price are hard to beat! Can't wait for my next stay at Yotel!
In American hotels, guests usually need to bring their own toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs. We stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and it was fantastic. We had a room with a balcony, and it was so convenient because we were right in the city center—just a minute’s walk from the White House, and a minute’s walk from downtown. It was perfectly located. But above all, the staff was incredibly friendly—they even allowed us a late checkout and an early check-in. The staff was just so kind.
The staff were friendly and respectful. Since we arrived before check-in time, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. The hotel’s location and the view from our room were beautiful. Because the hotel is in the city center, we woke up a few times at night due to the sounds of ambulances and fire trucks, and room was little bit dirty there was a few hairs on the pillows . The location itself is great — very central to everything. However, the hotel is still under construction and does not offer room service. Location is great and rooms are clean / relatively modern. Value for money is super. Air con is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast is alright but does not wow. Their mini and Snackbar is automated as soon as you Touch something it is billed which is annoying.
An un-extraordinary experience at an average hotel. It is very clean, though, so definitely an option for the night if you need one. 1. Thieves: After charging the full amount to my card beforehand, they added a BS "destination fee" to the bill without informing me and charged my credit card. 2. Unsafe: The room door would not close all the way on its own. Housekeeping knew and did nothing about it.
Excellent hotel, central and no issues
