Residence Inn Washington, DC/Foggy Bottom, Washington1 / 10
8.7
Washington, 801 New Hampshire Ave NW (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Fresh menu, vegetarian options, clean room, ideal location a bit dated for what you might expect but overall good stay
Lady at the desk was very odd, unwelcoming, unsettling & not very competent. The hotel itself is very nice.
The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very nice and the staff were as well.
The hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was perfect! Breakfast had many options that never ran out even with the large amount of people there. Walkable to the Lincoln Memorial and Mall area.
Front desk staff was friendly. Room was clean and I enjoyed the kitchen amenities. Bathroom was small and lacking an exhaust fan. On site parking is pricey being around $70 (with taxes included). Parking garage was small and cramped.
Convenient to metro, great breakfast per “hotel” inclusions, only serviced every 3 days is a drag, as you are out of TP, towels, and soap by then

I stayed in the hotel hive in the middle of the February. There was no hot water for shower, so I took a cold shower in the 1st night;  It was cold in February, I called the front desk to request a kettle and a couple of tea bags to make hot tea. ( it is the way how the hotel hives operates : you need make requests). A kettle was delivered to my room without any tea bag, the front desk said all the...
The Hive micro hotel offers all you need for a quick visit to DC. Walking distance to the National Mall and various restaurants, comfortable bed, nice large bathroom.  Staff were all friendly, helpful and amazing. The plants throughout the lobby made this micro hotel feel homey.
One of a kind! Great location (right next to GWU! and subway station), really friendly staff, neat room with customized decor. All in all highly recommend!
I could drink hot coffee in the morning!
We had a great stay at Hotel Hive! The room was small but it had everything my Huband and I needed. It was in a great location for us because we were there to see the White House. The staff was friendly, the bar was affordable and the pizza in the restaurant was delicious! We would definitely stay there again.
perfect stay! we stayed on the 4th floor, little bit of above noise from ceiling but everything was amazing! rooftop is gorgeous and even the room was very micro it had everything we needed

The room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a good spot with food etc in walking distance. They even have valet as we had a truck.
The staff were excellent and the location was perfect. We loved how walkable and fun the DuPont Circle area was.
I had a very nice stay. The place is comfortable, well located, and matches what is shown in the listing. Overall, everything worked well and the experience was pleasant. I would recommend this place.
This hotel was a dream. Great location! Excellent staff. We spend our last night at another hotel as we were meeings friends who were staying there. We regretted changing hotels!!!
Absolutely praiseworthy, absolutely excellent service, thank you!
It was a great trip but was very difficult to get in because there was confusion and it took forever for me to get my stuff figured out and the front desk worker was not helpful and kept trying to charge me

If you are someone who gets hot easily like me, I would recommend bringing a portable fan when coming to this hotel. The rooms are extremely warm and you can’t turn down the temperature much. We woke up sweating every night. The rooms are spacious and fairly clean. The staff is nice. Parking is $38 a night plus tax.
I used their garage parking when flying out of DCA. This is the best pricing and service. I prefer this over using DCA parking. I paid half the price, rode in a comfortable shuttle, and the hotel staff and shuttle driver provide A+ service and courtesy.
I had a fantastic stay at this Marriott property. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check-in a breeze. My room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout my visit. I also highly recommend the on-site restaurant—the food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town! Had a little TV remote issue but thay was resolved after...
This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location, right in Crystal City and close to both the airport and downtown DC. The staff were consistently friendly, housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and the lobby has a pleasant coffee shop and bar with live music in the evenings. All of that makes the property feel warm and inviting. However, for a hotel that positions itself as four stars, some basic...
We had a great time! Place was clean👌🏾
The room size is OK, Internet access costs $12.95 per day, parking is also charged, the sound insulation is poor, there are train and plane sounds, door slamming sounds, and the final checkout price is different from Ctrip, the experience is not good

Classic, old but well-maintained hotel. Restaurant - good food, but server was ok but could be better for pleasant experience Room - paid >300$ for a room without TV, and desk and outside bathroom, would you want to stay next time? No, because it is not worth spending 300$ Front service - need to improve to more to accommodate customer's request, I meant a reasonable request, Received a 10$ coupon...
It was a lovely stay! A little concerning the amount of rats outside the hotel but I understand D.C. has a rat infestation at the moment. The hotel was exquisite…the room divine…the location ideal….the staff top notch. Just one lil funny thing….no door on the bathroom? What’s that about? 😆 thank you for all
The antithesis of a boxy chain hotel. Unique rooms, eclectic decor. Affordable, safe, friendly and centrally located. Not for everyone: no TVs, no elevator. Noisy neighborhood at times with middle of the night car alarms repeatedly set off. Food is excellent with a great bar and Victorian lounge.
Loved the room. The staff were all pleasant. I love the vibe the inn had, the vintage feel was 10/10.
The staff was very courteous and respectful. The room was clean and the lounge area was warm and cozy with the fireplace that was being used.
Rooms were clean and had a ton of charm. Dinner service was delightful and I'm still thinking about those Cheese Fritters.

Last modernised when Lincoln was President, but I liked the place. Old world charm. Elevator a bit ropey, but clean and functional. Good price for DC. Bar in hotel , but Liqour store round corner. Handy for Subway and the sights
Stay here 3 nights. The hotel is good located, to a "walking" distance to all of the point of interest, and also the subway. So, okay, the room are quite old, but mine at least was renovated and in pretty good shape. For the price, it defenitely worst it.
Not luxurious, but clean and attractive and reasonably priced. There is no laziness service but there is a dry cleaner and a laundrette around the corner along with veros shops and cafes. I also like the location. Very green with a beautiful church opposite and only a 20 minute walk from The White House and everywhere else.
This was my second stay at the Baron Hotel. It is one of the older inns around the D.C. area and it's not far from shops and metro. There were a couple of changes; no more continental breakfast, and a limited selection of tv channels, but I didn't go to D.C. to watch tv and there's a nice bagel shop around the corner with fresh bagels and good coffee. The room was large with lots of natural light...
Overall a good hotel to stay. Some of the staffs are very very helpful. A few are a bit cold though. Great location. Good service. Satisfactory and safe.
Desk person specifically said specialty coffees like mocha and latte were available for room service but that was false. We were charged for a valet parking night we never used; that's uncool. Also the bar needs better beer. Finally, $6.60 for mini bar Coke! The prices here were outrageous, I feel like all they wanted was my money and not provide good service.

Quite good. Nice Parking. Near US Capitol. Not difficult to find.
It’s a decent hotel to stay in, but it was too far from establishments so we weren’t able to enjoy most of Washington fully. The breakfast was definitely not okay after your 3rd night. It was the exact same food for a week. Some would like it, but certainly did not.
Great facilities, but the surroundings were just average.
It was great experience staying in the hotel but only problem deposit taking on card because I told them I’ve cash with me I’ll give u cash now when I leaving then return me but they said no we only take card for deposit but when I leave I ask when I can get my deposit back and they said they don’t know

Washington, 1127 Connecticut Avenue NW, 7th Floor (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC—now the Mayflower by Marriott—stands as a timeless symbol of elegance, history, and political intrigue. Opened in 1925, the hotel was envisioned as the city’s grand social center, welcoming presidents, dignitaries, artists, and visionaries through its ornate doors. Its Beaux-Arts architecture, inspired by European palaces, reflects an era when craftsmanship and...
Very spacious rooms. Extremely courteous staff. There was one person called Bobby who really made sure we felt at home.
Great location. Walking distance from all key monuments. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is good. Obviously it's expensive
The food was not too good. Too much sauce and not enough healthy items on menu.
This is one of those hotels that expects guests to not drink water. While the property was clean and check-in was seamless. The rooms didn't have drinking water. There's a saying - you offer water even to your enemies. Seems the hotel management struggles with basic of hospitality. Overall experience - average. Cleanliness - good. Staff - attentive but slow. My experience was probably thrown off by the fact that the pull out bed was rough. Like sleeping with a bar in your back rough. The two beds in the bedroom were great, so it fit a family of 5 at a very reasonable price. The kitchen was not the best quality but it WAS a kitchen, so I was grateful for the ability to store food in a fridge and cook up a meal or two. The location was perfect, across from...
The apartment has a kitchen, and you can buy some groceries at the supermarket to prepare breakfast yourself. The hotel has a great location and is convenient for getting to all parts of Washington, D.C.
This hotel offers great value for money. The spaciousness makes it feel comfortable, and the small kitchen made it convenient to bring in outside food. It was relatively quiet during bedtime, and they even let me leave my luggage before check-in, which was nice. The location is also close to the subway station, and there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
Great place to stay - huge rooms- great area- very friendly staff. Having a kitchenette was huge!
Excellent hotel. Great location. Across the street from a traders Joe and Papa John’s pizza. Bar next door and Catholic Church. Big room with kitchen and appliances

Beautiful place with homey touches. Private room for when you need time to yourself and shared spaces for when you want to socialize. It is within walking distance of the zoo which is great for families. I stayed with my three children and would definitely go back as a family or solo. It is also very close to lots of delicious restaurants.
Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. Found it to be clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was full of guests. Staff was friendly, walked us to our room in the building beside office. This was a good place for the price. The staff was fantastic and very helpful they helped me figure out parking while in the city and gave some good ideas of what food, attractions, and cabs were near by. Adam's Inn is an adorable hostel-style hotel. The room and bed were both cute, charming, and comfortable. There was a sink in my private room to help provide some amenity since the bathroom was a shared bath. The Adam's Inn was a lovely visit. Our room was comfortable with a bed, a chair, and a sink. We had a shared bathroom on our floor with a nice shower and toilet. We just finished our stay at the Hyatt Embassy Suites in Washington, DC, and we’re ending our trip on a very pleasant note. The passage from the subway was often closed, and access was inconvenient due to construction work on the pavilion, which sometimes made it impassable.

I liked the hotel location and everything else, but the cleanliness of the bed and shower room was disappointing because I found hair that had not been cleaned.

It was 76 degrees in the room at night. We were told that the AC was not turned on yet; only heat was running. It was very hot to sleep at night. Big space. Nice location.
Convenient location & tons of space. Decor was dated, some minor repairs needed, and tv was way to small
Close to covention center. The room was clean. As shown in the pictures, it has a big sitting area and kitchen and a separate bedroom.
The iron was sort of damaged, and it affected my shirt a little. Also, water drips out of the shower and makes the restroom floor slippery. But management was supportive enough to let me keep luggage in breakfast room for extra 2 hours after checking out.
I only stayed for one night for meetings at the Convention Center so did not avail myself of kitchen facility but it appeared to be very well appointed. I could definitely see myself staying here for a longer stay. It felt just like a nice one bedroom apartment.
If you are looking for an apartment sized hotel room with out the bells and whistles …. this is the place for you. There is NO bar, NO restaurant and no other amenities but the LARGE unit makes up for it and you are across the street from other hotels in case you need the other amenities.
