I had a truly wonderful stay at this charming hotel, beautifully designed in the style of traditional Uzbek heritage houses. The details of the architecture reflect the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan, while maintaining a sense of simplicity, calmness, and authentic comfort.
The hotel’s location is just perfect — right in the heart of Old Bukhara — surrounded by history, culture, and beautiful streets that invite you to explore.
What made my stay even more special was the warm hospitality of the staff — polite, kind, and always ready to help. A special thank you to the hotel owner — an inspiring lady who, despite her advanced age, manages the hotel with so much love, care, and grace. Her warm welcome truly makes guests feel at home.
Honestly, if I had more time, I would have loved to stay here longer. It’s a peaceful, authentic place that touches your heart and stays in your memory.
Highly recommended — absolutely worth the visit!

This is a small hotel with small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. We typically experienced no hot water in the morning, but semi-hot in the afternoon for showers. The foam comforter and top sheet are weird shapes, and don’t stay on the bed easily. The only window looks out into the central courtyard. Wifi in the rooms is decent, breakfast is simple, coffee drinks horrible. What was truly exception was the outstanding service by the teenager who worked there. He was just amazing arranging car service to and from our dinner restaurant.

This is a family run hotel. It is ideally situated on the edge of the main city of Bukhara. The rooms are very small and with limited facilities. Ours had one small window looking out onto a (beautiful) public courtyard so we had no privacy. And I have to say I thought the shower over the bath was somewhat dangerous for older people. Nevertheless, I was blown away at breakfast by what felt like eating with one of the locals. There were home-made fruit preserves and freshly baked pastries. The owners fussed over us as if we were family.

Boutique Devon is a hidden gem — perfectly located in the heart of Old Bukhara yet surprisingly peaceful and quiet. The family running it is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The service feels personal, genuine, and thoughtful. A charming, comfortable stay that truly makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Lovely staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Gorgeous court yard and the location is excellent. The step in bath/shower was not very stable though, as in when you step out. A shower only would cater for all ages. Breakfast was great and the ladies who organise it go above and beyond

Had to sleep on my scarf to not touch the bed the room felt so dirty. Had ants on the floor, counted at least 6. But if you don’t mind some company from the animal kingdom, The location is amazing and the staff are super helpful and kind.

Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms have unique ceiling decor. Good wifi, breakfast with hot and cold options. Coffee machine coffee is an extra charge (approximately $2 cdn). We found this in several Uzbek hotels. Lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy a glass of Uzbek vodka. From the hotel, when you arrive at the main street, turn left. On the left hand side, after about 2 minutes, you'll see the liquor store. Nice selection of wines, vodka, cognac, and non-alcoholic beverages and friendly and helpful gentleman. A bit further, you'll see the puppet workshop and further still the first of three bazaars. Hotel is very located.

The location of the hotel was excellent, located in the heart of the old town and close to most historical sites. The building was beautiful, rooms were comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money.

Very friendly staff, clean room, beautiful interior of the hotel. The hotel is located on the calm street and close to the central walking street, restaurants. The breakfast could be better for the price paid (only instant coffee).
