Bukhara, Alisher Navoi Avenue, 5 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Modern hotel in the historic centre close to main sites Modern bedroom with usual facilities other than no tea making facilities or safe. Decent sized pool but in small area between hotel wall and building Staff speak ok English Aircon light very bright and high up so couldn't cover it Nice balcony overlooking the open area in front of the hotel, but too hot to use it
The hotel is not located in the old town, but it is quite close by taxi. It was a bit noisy from the cars on the street (view of the city). Breakfast is normal, varied, there were strawberries, cherries, apricots in mid-May. But the scrambled eggs and porridge were running out. It was difficult for us to set up the TV, we asked the staff for help. The air conditioner worked well. The pool is good,...
Great staff, very smooth check-in, very nice rooms. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bukhara.
The front desk was very kind and allowed us early checkin which was the best after a long journey. They also spoke English and were extremely hospitable.
The room is relatively large, the facilities are average, and the location is a bit far from the old town attractions. Except for the front desk, the room attendants do not speak English. When I checked in on the first day, they only provided one person's slippers and towels in the room. They were not given until the next day. One day, they even only cleaned half of the room...
We had a very good experience at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast very good and staff were pleasant. But most of all the manager Mr Fayzollah was extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel to others
The facilities are average and the hygiene is relatively good. The environment is good and the location is excellent, but the service needs to be improved.

A good choice in this city, the service attitude is very good, the hotel restaurant takes too long to order, which needs improvement

I had an incredibly pleasant stay at Turon Plaza Hotel. This hotel is a blend of luxury and comfort, designed to cater to every guest's needs. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with a modern touch, featuring plush beds, high-speed internet, and large-screen TVs. However, one of the standout features of Turon Plaza is the extensive range of amenities and services available to guests....

3.5 stars in reality. 2 nights in room #104 from 25th April on an Adventures Abroad tour. In an excellent location to the Old Town but tour buses can only get approx 200 m away. Assistance is then given with suitcase transfers. A typical Stan’s hotel with then too many steps up to the entrance door and with no ramp for luggage or mobility impaired guests. Part of the Hotel Asia chain, which seems to...
Our big team and I stayed one night in this hotel. Arrived late and departed early. Hotel is located in the heart of old historical area of Bukhara where most of the city landmarks in a walking distance. Big room, very clean, shows location of Qibla. Toilet amenities with toothpaste and brush, hot water, great WiFi and amazing breakfast.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are also quite large, though there are only two floors with no elevator. Overall, it's a good place.
We stayed for two nights as part of an organised tour. Arriving after midnight on the first night we were efficiently greeted with welcome drinks and nibbles. Rooms are a good size and are well appointed. Breakfast had a good selection to suit all tastes. The old town attractions are all in walking distance.
The receptionist was very polite and helpful. The pool was cold but very clean. The breakfast was dissapointing, cold, tasteless porridge, sliced white stale bread, three coffee machines were broken. There was little service from the staff..
This is the second Asia hotel on our tour. The location of the Asia Bukhara is fabulous being right in the old town where there are multiple restaurants, shops and sights. However, the entire chain is three star. Two small bars of soap, tiny bottles of body wash and shampoos and very flimsy towels. The mattresses are well worn with one lumpy pillow and one quilt which is rather thin. The breakfast...

The family room is a spacious two-bedroom suite. There's ample parking, perfect for those driving. There's also a small garden on the first floor. Many European and Chinese tour groups choose this hotel.
Front desk service attitude is very poor
For a three-star hotel, everything is fine. Pros: robes in the room, a good restaurant open from morning until night, good Wi-Fi, very quiet.
Cons: the old town is a 20-minute walk away, but it's inconvenient, as you have to cross highways and a residential area. The bed is large, but uncomfortable: no mattress pad, poor pillows, and washed-out gray linens. The shower has no water pressure, and it...
The hotel is relatively new, the room is large, and the breakfast is rich
Relatively quiet
Sanitation: Good
Facilities: There are a lot of people lining up for wedding photos in the hotel lobby, and it’s a bit noisy during the day.

I stayed at the Mercure near Bukhara's Old City for a business trip. The overall environment was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Most of the guests checking in were senior tour groups from Europe and America.
Bukhara's top-ranked hotel certainly lived up to its reputation. It's incredibly unique and conveniently located in the Old City, making it easy to get to all the attractions. The breakfast was delicious, and both the service and room amenities were excellent. Highly recommended!
Overall, the value for money isn't great. The facilities and room size are quite small, and 2000 per night feels expensive. Even though it's in the old city, you still have to walk over a kilometer to reach any attractions. You'd be better off staying in a guesthouse closer to the main square. However, given the construction limitations in Bukhara's old town, there aren't many truly excellent hotels...
Wasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin...
Beautiful hotel. Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. I called reception for help..they sent someone to my room immediately. Variety and delicious breakfast.
Most hotels in Bukhara have rather questionable interior designs, but Mercure isn't one of them. This hotel is beautifully decorated and bright inside. The lobby offers complimentary water and local dried fruits, and the service is excellent. The rooms are a bit small, but that seems to be the norm for hotels of this caliber on this trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the edge of the...

Good price value ratio hotel with comfortable beds.
Service is nice with exceptions of the employee behind the Omelett station.
Furthermore they have 4 treadmills in the gym which you can’t use for more then walking speed. Besides that all in all a very good hotel.
I had a wonderful experience at Sahid Zarafshon. From the moment I checked in until the minute I departed, the service was seamless and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
What I Loved:
The Rooms: My room was impressively spacious, providing a comfortable sanctuary after a long day of exploring.
Dining: The breakfast selection is excellent, offering a great variety to start your morning right....
We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a bigger corner room and enjoyed the space on a high floor . Service at front desk and breakfast area were excellent although the breakfast spread could be improved. Missing my regular muesli. Location was great , at the edge of the old town , hence bigger rooms compared to the boutique ( spell small ) hotels within the old town. Good value for money . We didn...

The hotel room (we stay in room 217) is much smaller than in the picture and it is extremely small that we cannot open two suitcases at the same time.

Comfortable stay, though there are uneven steps and slopes along corridors. Good buffer breakfast from rooftop terrace. Lifts are rather cramp for more than 3 people. Good location.
Excellent stay, comfortable beds and central location
Fabulous hotel in the Old town & central for all sightseeing. Beautifully decorated throughout in a traditional style. An absolute huge bed - must be nearly 8ft across, but was comfortable. Good lighting, fridge but no minibar, kettle with sachets, spacious bathroom. Good aircon with easy controls. Only breakfast served which is plentiful on the rooftop restaurant. You can sit here in the evening...
Well run hotel in the centre of Bukhara - the location is amazing. The rooms are comfortable with large beds and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is vey good with a rooftop restaurant that has a lovely view of the minaret etc. would stay here again - best welcome drink I have ever had.
I really wanted to love this hotel but it has some quirks that I could not overlook.
First thing first, it is a great location. Right in the heart of Bukhara. We visited during the heatwave of summer 2025 (July). The area around this hotel is being excavated for new archeological discovery of ancient ruins, so this is a pedestrian only area. Which means you will need to drag your luggage to the hotel...
This hotel was perfectly located inside the city walls and very central for all the sights. The courtyard rooms were lovely and large, and cool and airy. The reception area was lovely and large with plenty of space for our group to gather. The only criticism, and its not a fair one, is that English was not well understood, but that is true throughout Uzbekistan, as Russian is most people’s second language...

Very good hotel. A lot of thanks receptionist Shuhrat
10/10 stay. I was here for a fee days in Bukhara and I was so impressed with this hotel. Firstly the rooms are so big, clean and grand. The price was so competitive and lower than other hotels in the city. The service was great and the main sights are a short walk away. As a tourist you should definitely stay here.
Excellent hotel, staff and food.
Excellent experience
Staff is very professional and extremely helpful in particular Sherzad
People in Bukhara are generally very fruendly and welcoming
Hotel is very well located at walking distance from most places to visit and restaurants
Room was comfortable, clean and spacious
We loved this hotel and will certainly visit again
Very accommodating and honest. They allowed me to extend my stay past checkout by two hours (they probably would have given me another hour). For some reason they didn't charge me a city tax at the end of my stay either. I have no idea if it was because I tipped the concierge/bellboy or the cleaning lady. In addition to having on site breakfast, there is an eating establishment immediately next door...

The hotel is in a perfect location if you are seeking spirituality. You are directly visiting the shrine of Shah-i Naqshbandi. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything is nice, there are just a few shortcomings: firstly, there are no bidet taps in the toilets, and secondly, the breakfast is very bad, there's not much to eat. Don't be fooled by the breakfast picture :)
A beautiful hotel right across from the tomb of Shah-i Naqshband Muhammad Bahaeddin.
The distance between him and Naqshbandi is 50 meters, so I prefer it.

The hotel is dated and should be avoided if possible. Location is good , a short 15 min walk to the center . Rooms are very old and had a stuffy/ mouldy smell . A/c doesn’t work .Had two functioning elevator and each can carry 4 -5 person at a tine . For a hotel with so many rooms getting a free elevator is like getting a lottery ticket. Breakfast is not good for western travellers.
Cozy and cheap + breakfast and everything for 150,000 sum 2025.05.03 I recommend to everyone, you can walk to the old city Laby Khavuz
Service is really frustrating, staff is awfully rude, when we couldn't get into room we asked an another key and they mistreated us. They want help if something goes wrong with room opening
This hotel is rather old. The elevators are small, the room for 2 persons is compact and the room air-conditioner is not working well. The hotel staffs are helpful, though. We stayed here for 2 nights, and I guess that should be enough.
It is about 2km away from the old town, so we took a taxi to get there.
About 500 meters from the old town, you will pass through a very dirty construction site. Next to Wyndham. The facilities are very poor. The shower water can only be turned on hot, otherwise it is cold and hot. The network is very slow. The sound insulation is very poor. There are people partying at 2 o'clock in the morning. The front desk service is very good. They helped me call a taxi several times...

I wondered if this was what a 4-star hotel breakfast in Uzbekistan was like. The front desk staff were unfriendly, the stairs were narrow, and the location was questionable. Other restaurants have also made me realise that Uzbeks are not suited to the service industry.
It’s nearby the attraction area but not car assessable . Car cannot enter n you need to push your luggage to the hotel. About 100-200 meter
I’d like to give a special shout-out to Bekzod, one of the staff members who showed me amazing hospitality and kindness from the very first day until the day i checked out. The hotel should really pay him more, his service and attitude towards guests are truly exceptional!

Bukhara, Tutzor 15 Bukhara, Hotel Bukhara, 200100 Buhara, Uzbekistan (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel was clean, but it was quite far from the old city, especially since only electric carts could access Bukhara's old city, and at night you had to walk a long way to the area outside the curfew to hail a taxi. The breakfast had a variety of options, but most were cold. A few hot items seemed poorly heated and remained cold, and the taste was just average.
Lovely spacious room, staff were also very helpful. Bit of a walk into the old town (20 minutes) but taxis are very cheap.
The hotel's location is decent, situated next to the main road leading to Bukhara Old City, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The rooms are similar to those in budget hotels in China, but the balcony is quite large, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is average, lacking hot food, which is a minor drawback.
Good
Staff is great, always willing to help and assist, hotel looks new but lack of blackout courtains, windows/doors do not seal well so room can be very cold at night, 20 mins walking to city center.
Was a nice hotel. The bed was ok. Not fantastic. Location is not an issue as taxis in Uzbekistan are so reasonable.

Lovely little hotel with nice rooms. We had a rough start when we were told breakfast was not included, despite it saying so on the Trip.com app. The kind staff relented and gave us breakfast anyway, even though there was obviously a mess-up in the whole booking system (not the hotel's fault I guess). Appreciate it, guys!
Very cozy family hotel. Comfortable rooms with everything you need (hair dryer, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers). Very good breakfasts.
The only thing we would recommend the hotel to consider is the curtains = they let in a lot of sun and from the very early sunrise it does not allow you to sleep.
